Good hotel

We stayed for 6 nights and our experience was great, principally the support from the staff. We got an upgrade and awesome gift due to our anniversary. Special heads up for Nolon from the front desk, for her great support during our stay. Only improvement area can be to increase food variety in the breakfast buffet, we felt it was almost the same every 2 days. Besides that, we would definetely come back to this hotel if we ever return to Krabi.

We had a top floor side sea view room which was very spacious. The finishing were a little tired but adequate. Great pool areas separating children’s pool with adults. Breakfast choice great if you like Indian food however otherwise we found it quite bland. The staff in reception were really helpful allowing us to upgrade smoothly. The main disappointment was that the beach was separated by a busy road and we found the water not great for swimming. Otherwise a great location for exploring Ao Nang.

Ella was amazing and always helpful. Overall all the staff were incredible and service minded. The are is perfect with longtail outside make sure to take them early. Night market is around the corner with amazing food. You can wash your clothes outside for 50 baht per kilo. Taxi to ao nang beach is 100 baht much cheaper than Tuktuk. Around the hotel you have lots of massage places for good price, restaurants and all facilities needed. Hotel has a great pool area and also garden to hang out in. Nice bar in the middle of pool however a bit expensive. A lot of activities in hotel. I would recommend Building 4 for couples and building 5 for this with kids. Rather bottom portion as you can jump directly in the pool. There were something biting you on the chairs in the balcony and also in child bed so make sure checking bed bugs. Cleaning could improve as they only do floor, bed and change towels. They need to clean shower wall, shower inside and wipe all area in the room as tables. The bathrooms need to be renovated.

Overpriced with disappointing maintenance and service We stayed at Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort Krabi for 14 nights. The beachfront location and large pool area are nice, but the stay felt overpriced for the high room rate. Food and drinks were significantly overpriced. A small 0.33l Singha beer was listed as 155++ THB and totalled 181 THB after tax and service — more than four times the normal supermarket price (35–45 THB). The kids’ water park did not match the photos: no trampoline, one slide missing, and the remaining slides had worn paint and a very rough surface, causing skin abrasions on our children. These issues could easily have been fixed. Service was inconsistent. While the cleaning staff were friendly, many others had poor English and varying attitudes. We had confirmed a buffet dinner the day before, but it was cancelled without notice and we received a condescending response when we asked. The free Kids Club had limited and worn-out activities, and the Kids’ Corner charged extra for nearly everything. Breakfast was repetitive with the same Thai and Indian dishes daily. We also experienced noise every evening until 23:00 from music at a nearby nightclub/hotel. Overall, the resort has potential, but the high price is not justified due to poor slide maintenance, misleading advertising, overpriced food/drinks, inconsistent service, and evening noise. Significant improvements are needed, especially on the waterslides.
