Great stay overall but not everything was perfect. Pros: - big room with an amazing view. - nice and comfortable beds. - clean and housekeeping did a great job. - amazing huge pool. - staff were super friendly and helpful. - location is great, you're in the middle of all the action but it's still very nice and quite at the hotel. - perfect for a family stay with kids. There is a kids club and a kids swimming pool. - breakfast and a la carte were very good. Cons: - AC was very tricky to use, you can change the temperature but it reverts back to whatever default setting after some time (20 degrees but feels like 15). Most of the time we left it off to avoid it. - due to some issues with the AC the floor becomes completely wet and slippery. We had to leave the room and asked the staff for help. They cleaned it and provided a dehumidifier, and while it helped a lot it was super loud. While we had a couple of issues, the positives outweigh the negatives and it was a great stay.

Excellent hotel, loved it all. Only down side was limited beds on roof pool should have no return within 30 mins and towels get moved. People put them out at 8 am and don’t use them until 3pm.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff, we enjoyed doing a dessert cooking class on Saturday and the staff running this were very friendly. Swim up bar and cocktails are great. Will definitely return.

We had a problem at first with our room and the location of the room, but the front desk staff moved us and we were so happy with the next room. Different food options on property. Nice, cool pool and swim-up bar, and restaurants and stores all walkable. Tuk tuks are right outside of entrance on main street.

Vi bodde der i 16 netter og var veldig fornøyd med servicen fra personalet. En fantastisk frokostbuffet. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt i forhold til bar/restauranten, nattmarkedet og stranden, samtidig som det ikke forstyrres av byens natteliv. Treningsrommet burde oppgraderes. Var maks plass til to personer samtidig, dårlig luftkvalitet og står ikke i forhold til resten av hotellet fasiliteter. Det var en del trær inne på anlegget, så ønsker man å sole seg er stranda og anbefale.

The good: Staff are lovely, the hotel is very clean and lovely seating areas. We loved the downstairs bar menu that included a sandwich, chips & drink for a reasonable price. We stayed for just under 2 weeks and it started to feel like home! It’s also perfect location to do everything. Beach not far and there’s a shuttle bus to Reeve so saves you walking. The negatives: The shower pressure in the room isn’t great, shower in general is a bit difficult. There is a seat in the way so the shower sometimes doesn’t reach properly. The sun beds get really busy.. we struggled to get any seats so had to sit on the roof top at 8am to get a bed. A lot of people were putting towels down and coming at 12pm down which I think is unfair. Breakfast became dull, no changes to the breakfast each day and very little western food (full English). It took a long time to make coffee and by the time we got what we wanted for breakfast, it was cold. It felt very cramped and busy during the whole of breakfast time.. we actually chose to have breakfast elsewhere for 4 days even though we had paid for it already. Otherwise a lovely hotel and in a great area!

Overall disappointing. Great breakfast and rooftop pool and view, those were best part. Main pool is nice but is in the shade most of the day so water feels cold if sun is not out. Rooms are average at best. Booked a room with private whirlpool which was not heated and in shade much of day, so again if not sunny, it feels cold. Bathrooms off the lobby were very dirty all the time and not maintained well. I have spent last 2 months traveling throughout 7 countries in Asia. This was the most expensive hotel room of the trip... and the worst. Staff was very nice but I would not stay again.

We have stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The room was clean and we had enough space. The breakfast was nice and also the staff was friendly. The reason for only 2 stars for the service is that they don’t have a shower room where you can fresh up before your departure. We had an evening flight so therefor we had time to kill. We killed the time at the rooftop pool. Around 15.30 we wanted to take a shower and fresh up before the flight. They don’t have a shower room and there was no possibility to keep our room longer. We could take a shower af the pool but this one was cold and in public area. And to change your clothes you need to use the restroom. This is something we needed to do because you want to wash off the sunscreen. I’m of the opinion this is a very bad service. Or absence of a sefvice you may expect. Every hotel where I stayed in Thailand and other countries had a shower room where you can fresh up before departure. Especially from such a big resort I would expect this, but unfortunately there wasn’t anything.

La habitación estaba descuidada, huele demasiado a humedad. De los 3 días que estuve, no entraban a limpiar la habitación, cuando se solicitaba limpieza, dejaban todo igual que como estaba y solo tendían la cama. En nuestro último día nos salió una cucaracha en la habitación y cuando hablamos en recepción sobre lo sucedido solo nos indicaron que entendían que tenían un problema con la limpieza pero que desafortunadamente no podían hacer nada. Entonces solamente se quedó en disculpas. Lo único bueno que tiene el hotel es la ubicación, sin embargo, por el precio que cobran, no vale la pena.

The first night, me and my friend itched so bad we couldn't sleep. we moved rooms and had to force housekeeping to change all the bedding (they only wanted to change the base sheets, not the duvet or pillowcases). The room smelt of damp and mold. The floor was so dirty my white slippers and socks turned colour. there was mold in-between most tiles and cobwebs in the corners of the room.

Poolen var iskall, frukosten helt ok. Hotellet var inte så fin som bilderna visar. Rummet kändes smutsigt och överlag var allt lite slitet. Personalen vid poolbaren var härlig! De har en stackars stor sköldpadda i en inhängnad. Hemskt!

This property was very disappointing and does not live up to a four star rating. The air conditioning in our first room didn’t work, and after multiple attempts to get it fixed, we were finally moved to another room. The new room smelled mouldy and musty and was very dirty. The bed linens and towels were torn and grey. The property itself has a beautiful pool but unfortunately, the overall facility has not been well-kept up. For example, multiple loose floorboards on the walkways and poor ventilation in the dining area. Despite the excellent location of this property, I cannot recommend it to fellow travelers.

Quartos com manutenção ruim e sujos. Nosso quarto estava cheio de teias de aranha, pedimos para que fosse limpo e não fizeram. A limpeza do hotel como um todo deixou a desejar e os quartos estão com a conservação ruim! A localização do hotel é muito boa e o café da manhã é ok!

Hotel was lovely but it has a serious problem with condensation on the rooms. Doesn’t matter what temp the aircon is on the room and all contents were soaking wet every evening and all night. All the bedding and clothes were constantly damp.

We last stayed at the Panan back in January 2020 and we both loved the place so after a 2 year hiatus thanks to Covid we couldn’t wait to return. But wow how disappointed were we :( Standards have seriously slipped with cleanliness and general maintenance taking the biggest dip. The rooms whilst fairly comfortable and spacious and now looking tired and dirty. The shower cubicle was covered in mildew and looked unsightly. The rooftop pool area looks fantastic for your photographs but sadly again isn’t clean. There is mildew all over the tiles and the bottom of the pool. Breakfast was another disappointment sadly, they had a large selection that catered for asian and Indian customers but very little for westerners. Unless you want cereal, toast or eggs then you’ll be disappointed. Overall a disappointing stay. Did it ruin my holiday no but would I return, sadly not

I left a note with the front desk. Our bathroom shower had mold, our floor was constantly dirty with sand. The cleaning staff need a vacuum instead of a wet mop. The air conditioning just kept running and running and the air ducts blew out a moldy/mildew smell. It’s such a pretty property but it isn’t being kept up.

L’hôtel est très bien placé, proche de la plage, très belles piscines, très bon petit déjeuner et belle chambre avec vu sur mer et sur les falaises. L’hôtel a tout pour être au top. Cependant, il y a un gros défaut, qui est déjà signalé dans les précédents commentaires : notre chambre (dans le bâtiment numéro 2) était très humide. Le sol est humide, les draps sont humides, les vêtements sèchent mal dans la chambre, et tous nos vêtements dans nos valises sont devenus moites, et il y a une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. C’est vraiment dommage et cela relève de la conception du bâtiment et n’est pas la faute du personnel. Je n’ai pas demandé à changer de chambre, je n’y suis resté que 3 nuits. L’hôtel est très bien placé, proche de la plage, très belles piscines, très bon petit déjeuner et belle chambre avec vu sur mer et sur les falaises. L’hôtel a tout pour être au top. Cependant, il y a un gros défaut, qui est déjà signalé dans les précédents commentaires : notre chambre (dans le bâtiment numéro 2) était très humide. Le sol est humide, les draps sont humides, les vêtements sèchent mal dans la chambre, et tous nos vêtements dans nos valises sont devenus moites, et il y a une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. C’est vraiment dommage et cela relève de la conception du bâtiment et n’est pas la faute du personnel. Je n’ai pas demandé à changer de chambre, je n’y suis resté que 3 nuits. There is a kids club and a kids swimming pool. - breakfast and a la carte were very good. Cons: - AC was very tricky to use, you can change the temperature but it reverts back to whatever default setting after some time (20 degrees but feels like 15). Most of the time we left it off to avoid it. - due to some issues with the AC the floor becomes completely wet and slippery. We had to leave the room and asked the staff for help. They cleaned it and provided a dehumidifier, and while it helped a lot it was super loud. While we had a couple of issues, the positives outweigh the negatives and it was a great stay.

Hotel was generally fine. Location is very good, close to everything. Room itself was average, definitely in need of some maintenance. Booked a sea view room, however it didn’t look like the pictures on Expedia. View was partially blocked by another building.

We really enjoyed our stay at Panan Krabi Resort! We stayed in a family suite for 4 nights. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable to relax in after a long morning on the beach. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and the shower hot and powerful! The aircon was powerful and the room also had a fan which helped circulate the cool air. The resort was only 5 minutes walk from the beach/the boats to various islands which was super convenient for us. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, especially the tourist information desk, who helped us book a private longtail boat tour of Ko Hong Island and two others (with Krabi Teerapong Tour). Breakfast was included and was very enjoyable - there was a wide variety of choice, including freshly made eggs, Thai soup, noodles and donuts. There was also a choice of fresh juice, fruit that meant we could have something different every day. The only downside to our stay was the number of Israelis staying at the resort. Other than that, we definitely would recommend staying at Panan Krabi Resort. Our favourite place for food was KoDam Kitchen, where we went three days in a row! We also enjoyed South Indian food at Madras Cafe.

We had a great time while staying at this hotel. Nice room with comfortable beds. The AC on the other hand could not cope with the high humidity which caused the floor to be all wet a lot of the time. Our clothes went damp because of this. I would have given this hotel a lower rating if it wasn't for the exceptional good service we received. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Panan Krabi Resort was disappointing. Housekeeping was unreliable — even after requesting cleaning several times, no one came until 5 PM, and the room was left partially cleaned with used rags and no fresh towels. There was loud construction happening at the pool every day, and we were never informed about it beforehand. When we asked the resort about it, they offered no compensation or solutions. On top of that, the pool isn’t heated and was too cold to use. For what we paid, this resort did not deliver. I would recommend staying elsewhere in Ao Nang.

Great property but the housekeeping never happened on time and for two days we couldn’t get our room cleaned because when I tried to book the room cleaning service in the app, they didn’t adhere to the time at all - I put in 12:40 because we’d be out, but they came around 6 which I think is not okay.

Extremely friendly staff that went above and beyond trying to make the customers happy!! Can’t say enough about them!! Delicious and huge amount of choices for breakfast friendly atmosphere, no one, was made to hurry and get out! Their entertainment and enthusiasm was infectious and our time at Panan first in a pool access room which was huge and so convenient to hop in and out, and later at a sea view room, clean and well stocked, was fantastic hope to book this again in the future! You can’t go wrong with Panan Krabi resort!! Thanks again

Fantastic experience at Panan. The resort is really nice and offers a great breakfast buffet. However, the true highlight, as a solo traveling female, was the fact that they acknowledged my birthday and did a cute spread on the bed and then brought me a slice of cake. Talk about going above and beyond! The housekeeping was also wonderful and very attentive.

Despite arriving at the hotel on time, we had to wait over two hours for our room to be allocated, which was quite disappointing, especially as we were traveling with small kids and were already exhausted after a long flight and a journey from Phuket to Krabi. The waiting experience in the lobby was frustrating. That said, once settled in, the stay was comfortable. The breakfast spread was excellent, the pool area was great, and the room itself was spacious and well-maintained.

THe property is nice. It is sort of tucked away but yet just down the driveway is the main strip where you can shop and find restaurants. It is also close walking distance to the beach and monkey trail. The room was nice and the breakfast fine.

A perfect location – right in the heart of all the buzz and liveliness. The hotel is quite large and very much geared towards children and families, which we didn’t realize beforehand. That said, everything else was excellent: the hotel was spotless, the pools were beautiful, and the food was great. The reception staff could improve their English a bit, but overall the service was fine. Personally, we prefer smaller and more authentic and local accommodations, but objectively, this is a well-run hotel that has everything well organized.

The facilities are getting to be outdated and in need of some updating, and the bed was not particularly comfortable, but the room was big and we enjoyed our patio. Didn’t find too many appetizing breakfast options for westerners at the onsite buffet, but found a great cafe just across the street.

A gf and I stayed here for a few days while visiting, the staff are the real stars of the hotel. Everyone is amazing and soooo friendly. The resort is pretty cool, but does have some areas in need of a small repair or good cleaning. Originally we ended up being put in a room with a joint door and heard our neighbors fight off and on for hours...then leave, come back at 430am and have obnoxious $3x for an hour. We called the front desk at 530am and asked to switch rooms and we're immediately met by the front desk and they put us in a new room. After we slept for a few hours we chatted with the front desk and they upgraded us to a larger suite. Again, the staff are amazing and do such a fantastic job at accommodating guests. The food at the hotel was meh, we tried the buffet breakfast and the pho restaurant and both were mediocre sadly. We had the BEST bartender (this is actually a shout out to the bartender named Best), had a very good chat with them while we hung out at the pool bar. We also got massages during our stay and the ladies were excellent (Candy and Yeah), they don't have a 'spa' per se but a room that has been converted to act as one. Overall the facilities are great and I do recommend staying here.

The good: Staff are lovely, the hotel is very clean and lovely seating areas. We loved the downstairs bar menu that included a sandwich, chips & drink for a reasonable price. We stayed for just under 2 weeks and it started to feel like home! It’s also perfect location to do everything. Beach not far and there’s a shuttle bus to Reeve so saves you walking. The negatives: The shower pressure in the room isn’t great, shower in general is a bit difficult. There is a seat in the way so the shower sometimes doesn’t reach properly. The sun beds get really busy.. we struggled to get any seats so had to sit on the roof top at 8am to get a bed. A lot of people were putting towels down and coming at 12pm down which I think is unfair. Breakfast became dull, no changes to the breakfast each day and very little western food (full English). It took a long time to make coffee and by the time we got what we wanted for breakfast, it was cold. It felt very cramped and busy during the whole of breakfast time.. we actually chose to have breakfast elsewhere for 4 days even though we had paid for it already. Otherwise a lovely hotel and in a great area!

Great hotel in great location. We have a family of 6 so we booked adjoining rooms. Neither of them had hot water in the shower. We made maintenance requests but they were ignored so we took cold showers for 5 days!

The location was very close to the Ao Nong Beach, restaurants, and shopping. The pool was really nice and cool since it was so hot. The breakfast was pretty good. It was really nice to download the app and ask for water, towels, and other supplies on the app.

Room was clean’ish but very dusty. The marble effect tiles in the shower looked very stained. Personally, the aircon and humidifier in the room could have been left on prior to our check in - when we got there the room was very hot and humid. Overall facilities was ok and great for kids! Gym could have had a full body weight training equipment. Overall, very basic for a 4 star
