We had difficulty finding the property in the dark, but a phone call to Frank, property manager, solved it! Frank quickly came over and directed us to the rental unit. Perhaps the owners could put a visible sign or light to indicate the location? Once inside we were totally pleased with the comfort and cleanliness! And it’s close proximity to the Key West Ferry was appealing to us

The place is very isolated and dark, without lights in front, the house in general is not in condition, I imagine that the owners are the ones who live at the entrance on the left side. They made noise until late, the children felt too much, they moved furniture. It doesn't feel like a safe place to stay. It was very clean, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is good. This property was in a quiet little neighborhood near the freeway, Walmart, and restaurants. The studio was clean, nicely furnished, including the usual modern conveniences, and had ample space. Parking was just outside the studio.

My husband drove over 4 hours in the rain and arrived at the property at 10:40pm. It is not a hotel. More like a duplex. We were instructed to park on the right side of the parking area. However, two cars were blocking the entire parking space. He parked on the street and went to the door. He attempted to put in the code and open the door, but it would not open. He attempted it again, but felt like it was dead bolted from the inside. It was dark And uncomfortable. He felt like someone might be in the property since all parking spaces were taken. He left and went to another hotel down the street. I contacted the manager and explain the situation. He drove over and said there was parking room. However, I have pictures that he sent to me. He had to park on the grass. We are not accustomed to parking on someone’s grass when staying at a facility. He would not offer a refund. I am very disappointed. We are gold members with Expedia and never have an issue With a property. I am very disappointed.

It looks recently updated and was well stocked and mostly clean and quiet. In the bathroom there was a window in the shower that had mold all over it. Also the light switch in the bathroom looks like it was not replaced and worked fine but was filthy, easily cleaned with a toothbrush.

Spotless…no carpet in either B/R, or kitchen area. Medium size fridge with a good sized freezer section. Appliances include coffee maker (Keurig pods), toaster, kettle, induction cooker. Plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, cutlery, utensils, dish cloth, dish towels, dishwashing detergent are onsite. Large - 6ft or wider - closet. Walmart and Publix are nearby. Beach trolley with free parking is about 1/2 mile away

The unit was super attractive, updated and clean, the bed very comfortable, and the owner has gone to great lengths to stock the studio with appliances and dishes to make stays most comfortable and convenient. We were very impressed. I really, really liked how it was decorated. And 2 recliners, what a treat!!! The Lazy Cuckoo Inn is a 3 or 4-plex unit in a quiet residential area. It’s close to restaurants and grocery and I think to the beaches too, tho we didn’t go there. The owners provided via email excellent instructions & tips which were appreciated. We are noise sensitive and could hear sounds from the unit adjacent to us, but that’s like most hotels - only difference is that the air conditioning in this unit is so quiet that you couldn’t use it to white out noise. Only suggestion for guests would be to bring ear plugs just in case the other guests are late night loud noise makers. We highly recommend this unit and would stay there again.

The location is great and the place was clean and quiet. It looked like there was some water damage in the back corner of the kitchen where the paint is bubbling up from the wall, but it did not feel damp and I could not smell any mildew or mold so I think it is clean. The place was almost perfect. I can only make a few suggestions for improvement. First, the pillows are very thin, and the toilet seat needs to be replaced (the current one is cheap vinyl and feels like cheap vinyl when you sit on it). Additionally, there need to be some block-out curtains, The blinds were not adequate enough to block out the street lights. However, all things considered, I would book here again. It is priced well, it is very clean, and the location is excellent.

I was afraid of the self check in but it turned out great with great instructions. The apartment was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. Bed was very comfortable. Huge counter top and deep sink. Good size fridge. Two recliners to watch TV were great.AAAAA.

The Wi-Fi was an adequate for the amount of people using it. It affected my TV first night no entertainment. Second night it worked OK but when I was watching the football game, it go in and out and then cut off very aggravating.

We enjoyed the room overall. The bed was very comfortable and the large size shower was fantastic. We had a little difficulty initially finding the place after dark (would recommend making the address visible from the street (Kimble side in this case)). Although the water from the shower was warm, it wasn't as warm/hot as we would have liked. Additionally, we aren't too keen on the 1-ply toilet paper.

Had everything one would need for a few nights stay. Plenty of extra towels and blankets, the ac was nice and cold when needed and the space was clean. Nice, quiet surrounding area with a Walmart and a gas station within walking distance. Need transportation for night life in the downtown area. Definitely could have used some black out curtains on some of the windows throughout the space.

When I used the bathroom on arrival, the cheap toilet seat broke immediately. I complained to the host via text, and although he said I could use a different apartment on the premises, he failed to indicate there was a time limit for me to move to the other unit - as I had traveled across country to see my father who was dying, there were many things I had to take care of the first day and didn't see the host's late night text because I had fallen asleep. In the end, he blamed me for not moving to the other unit. Ultimately, he finally did get a handyman to come replace the toilet seat, but this was a very upsetting experience for me.

Hi! We went to the Key West Express from 3/14-3/18 and booked here for the night before and night after. Very close! Very clean, and great for somewhere to lay your head down for a night. Extremely tech-oriented, but the phone number for the manager worked when we had a problem checking in on the 18th but that was because we did not have an app, where we would have been notified. Would recommend and stay again.

Owner was very accommodating. When we arrived the AC was throwing an error code. Room stayed around 77. He moved us to another room the next day. AC never really cooled it off room stayed at 75. Which isn’t terrible. I had it set at 69 came back one night and mini split said 79. Not sure if they changed it remotely. Clean room and stocked as promised with cooking utensils and plates glasses etc. Basically a house in the middle of a small development turned in to a couple of rooms. Very convenient to Sanibel and Fort Myers. Overall a place to stay that was fairly priced.

My husband drove over 4 hours in the rain and arrived at the property at 10:40pm. It is not a hotel. More like a duplex. We were instructed to park on the right side of the parking area. However, two cars were blocking the entire parking space. He parked on the street and went to the door. He attempted to put in the code and open the door, but it would not open. He attempted it again, but felt like it was dead bolted from the inside. It was dark And uncomfortable. He felt like someone might be in the property since all parking spaces were taken. He left and went to another hotel down the street. I contacted the manager and explain the situation. He drove over and said there was parking room. However, I have pictures that he sent to me. He had to park on the grass. We are not accustomed to parking on someone’s grass when staying at a facility. He would not offer a refund. I am very disappointed. We are gold members with Expedia and never have an issue With a property. I am very disappointed.

This location was great. Close to Walmart, target and lots of other shopping. It was easy to get to the beachs, restaurants and the stadium for a MN twins spring training game.We found the place very clean and quiet. Could use a shelf or two in the bathroom. Kitchen was complete with all the basics.

Rather poor location, without a car you can only get to Walmart one street away. The outdoor area does not correspond to the photos! It was very run down and there was no outdoor seating!

Had everything one would need for a few nights stay. Plenty of extra towels and blankets, the ac was nice and cold when needed and the space was clean. Nice, quiet surrounding area with a Walmart and a gas station within walking distance. Need transportation for night life in the downtown area. Definitely could have used some black out curtains on some of the windows throughout the space.

The room was very clean. The communication was excellent. We had a tournament at Ft Myers Beach and it was only 15 minutes away. Food was close by. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks!

La ubicación de la propiedad esta excelente. El interior también y el precio aceptable.La pequeña cocina aceptable para 2 personas, o sea equipada con utensilios necesarios para corta estancia. Sinceramente no nos gustó fue la limpiesa y cuidados de las plantas en el jardín. Son 4 propiedades en esta propiedad y solamente tiene 2 donde se puede sentarse en el exterior. Los sillones del interior muy incómodos y había una silla descompuesta del comedor. Habian pequeñas cucarachas en los muebles de la cocina y baño. Fue desagradable para mí esposa. En general es aceptable por el precio pero creo que el dueño y manager deberían tener más cuidados al respecto. Por último. Tuve que llamar 3 días seguidos a Wellfargo Expedia porque los pagos a través no funcionaron existosame como es debido. Ahora Expedia realiza una investigación a causa y tuve que pagar por Zelle voluntariamente al respecto. Y espero respuestas en próximos días. Es casi imposible comunicarse con el manager y dueño de esta propiedad. Gracias a la señora Sara de Expedia y One k de Wellfargo por su disposición en ayudarnos con esta situación. Gracias a todos.
