Do yourself a favor and don\'t waste your money or time booking here. I ignored the bad reviews bc on the pictures didn\'t look as bad... its NOTHING LIKE THE PICS, I lost my money, I walked in and out. The place is very dirty, moldy, has a bad smell, it looks like a really bad "MOTEL" the owner was not very friendly, beds were as hard as a rock... pool was full of dirt and God knows what else. I Would never go back to this place, nor would recomend it.

staff was very nice and rooms were clean. However, it was very hard to find the hotel and took multiple drives around the block to locate the entrance. There was also very limited and tight parking. Good choice if on a budget but is not comparable to the bigger brand hotels on the same street.

we enjoyed our 2 night stay here before heading home from our 2 week vacation. It was close to the airport & conveint for our family. The Hosts were super nice, friendly & very accommodating too. The breakfast was good too with a personal touch. Parking was a little bit of a small area to fit in to get in & out, but we weren't staying long.

This property, inside the building is in good condition, outside, not that good, and the place appears to be shut down when you first approach the building, toilet was not working properly and no AC. Noise area, you constantly hear the loud sound of the highway. Breakfast was not bad.

El hotel se encuentra dentro de una calle privada de una zona residencial, muy tranquilo, el detalle solo es el estacionamiento que está limitado, sin embargo durante mi estancia siempre tuve la posibilidad de tener un espacio de estacionamiento, la ubicación es buena en medio del aeropuerto internacional y la zona de San José, cerca del hotel se encuentra una tienda de souvenirs, un super mercado en una plaza con un restaurante muy bueno para desayunar (Moose), la plaza incluye una farmacia y restaurantes bar para comidas y cena. El desayuno del hotel es una cortesía, por lo que se tiene que avisar si se toma o no porque elaboran de acuerdo al numero de huéspedes y solo es una opción diferente cada día. La habitación fue la familiar, para 6 personas pero con la opción para 8 personas, muy buen precio la habitación para 5 personas que utilizamos la habitación, la alberca no la utilizamos ya que las tardes eran frescas y lluviosas.

Esta comoda la habitación y las instalaciones. Pero en las habitaciónes no tiene wifi y el control de la tv no lo dieron, la cama hacía muchísimo ruido con poco que te movieras. Y aparte nos quedamos afuera del hotel un buen rato porque lo cerraron con candado cuando salinos a cenar y no, nos dieron instrucciones para entrar por otro lado hasta que un huésped por suerte iba saliendo nos dijo como entrar por otro acceso de no se asi quizas nos hubieramos quedado afuera nadie respondía 😐

To make matters worse, the shower was dirty, which is unacceptable in any hotel. There are definitely things that need improvement. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

The lady is very kind, but they keep front door lock, and the rooms smell bad. I had to request a cancellation for my second night because can’t sleep for the noice.

Dirty bathrooms and sinks, the air conditioning and shower heater broke down every day, there are no breakfast options, they have no dinner options, the hotel manager is very hostile.

I am going to be requesting a full refund for this booking. When I arrived, I was greeted by a dishevelled man wearing a stain-covered shirt. He then proceeded to tell me the front gate does not lock at night and anyone could just walk in. I then had to wait for this person’s “mother” to come check me in. At which point, she started to describe her personal health issues and she would have to go to the hospital the following morning and how she hadn't eat in days, etc... Then I was handed a 7 inch long, 2 centimetre thick, block of wood, with two keys attached to it, one for my room and the safe inside. Which I had to carry around in my pocket all day, off property. The room: the door is not properly secured. It loose and shaky, and only had the tiny lock in the doorknob, no dead bolt, and the latch lock did not work. Between this and the the fact that there was not lock on the outside gate. Also, the ceiling fan in the room way very low hanging and loose, not safe at all and very noisy through the night. The shower head stream was high-pressure, with very thin jets. This caused pain and discomfort to my private areas. Before going to sleep. I had to push the room fridge against the door to properly secure it and feel safe. It is 2:37 am as I am writing this. This entire process is the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experience have ever had at a hotel, anywhere, ever.

Stayed one night on Nov, 2024. Shower no hot water, only cold water. I booked from Expedia and paid by my Credit card. When I checked in, the Lady(owner) asked me to pay extra 25 USD Cash. I paid 25 USD Cash to her. Terrible experience. Do not believe the price on Expedia website.

It took a 1/2 hour for someone to come to office door

El encargado estado muy borracho la noche de mi llegada y no me abrían la puerta toque mas de una hora, nadie salió me metí a buscar a alguien y encontré al encargado de esa Noche en estado inconveniente.

This was a quiet location upon arrival to Costa Rica

I like the location.

On entrance it was so gloomy and stinky my friends wife;s face looked so sad I knew we could not stay! We all looked at our rooms anyway and that made our decision final. I lost $175.00 American. When we where leaving asked if could use the washroom and was told to get out. $175.00 and wasn;t aloud to Pee. Please don;t book this Hotel,,, sleep in a bus shelter,, your car,, an outhouse would be better!

The hotel has a terrific staff and great location near the Convention Center and an excellent selection of restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. I would happily stay there again in a future visit to San Jose.
