It was okay. Hotel promised pool would Be opened as we have several 6-12 year olds staying for a wrestling event. Staff closed pool while we were in it for unknown reasons. We later heard it was because the hotel was understaffed and did not want to deal with it. Breakfast was a joke, most things were stale. The hallway by the elevator smelled awful. There was no water or sodas in any vending machine.

It was the only hotel in town so we didn’t have any other choice but the first problem was the pool was closed, the bathtub didn’t drain well either. For a place to lay your head it was fine but they didn’t go out of their way to make it nice.

The pool was not open, the slots not open, the hot breakfast was only waffles. The carpets were in need of cleaning. The room rate was comparable to when it was Holiday Express and Baymont franchises, but without the all the amenities as advertised. The small staff was friendly and did their best. But we cut our stay short by one day due to the conditions of the property

Many, many things were broken or not working (toilet seats, locks, lighting etc.). The property was dirty, needing dusting and vacuuming. Also, the pool had not been cleaned.

The room was clean with plenty of room for our family of 5. However, there were no blackout shades, so the east facing room flooded with light early. The ceiling in the elevator was noticeably dirty with layers of dirt on the panels. The breakfast, while included left a lot to be desired. The waffle maker burned every waffle, the boiled eggs were yellowish, the sausage looked undercooked. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is a just ok place to stay. Our bathroom's sink was not as clean as it should have been. The property around doesn't look appealing. It there were more options around, I would not come back to this place.

Property was barely maintained. Areas were dirty and dusty and trashy. Breakfast was minimal. Extremely strong pine scented cleaner aroma in room, obviously to cover up marginal cleaning or tobacco.

The bed was nice. Bathroom was clean and well stocked but who’s idea is it to have a coffee maker in the bathroom. That’s gross. The carpet was dirty with large stains. The room 329 was huge but it only had a 32 inch tv. Way too small for the size of the room. The refrigerator was dirty with food droppings but we liked the freezer combination. The channel changer also had food stuck on it. Once of the lamps did not have bulb in it and another had two different bulbs which makes the light really strange looking.

Room is old and has been painted over to try and look new. Mattress had mold on it and they don’t turn the AC on until you get into the room and you have to manually turn it ok. Bathrooms were gross

I understand they are remodeling (not very good workmanship on the remodeling) My room was clean but the bathroom room was not! They could have the remodel crew do better making the place suitable for guests.They probably should of closed for the duration rather then let guests deal with their mess.I stay at hotels 20 weeks a year and I will not stay at this one again

TV remote was broken. Channels on TV were not available except HBO. Other channels displayed audio option only. Never saw that before. The fridge was not working. The microwave was broken too. It even did not stand straight. Other than that - it was clean, breakfast didn’t not have too much choices.

Hotel is clean and undergoing changes but has previous hotel name signs up. Can be a little confusing.The interior changes seemed very cosmetic, but missing fixing the things that matter. Check in was easy! First room was hot and a/c had issues. They quickly got us into another room and the a/c was a little stronger but took a couple hours to cool the room down comfortably (they leave them off between uses and they are not strong enough to cool down as needed). We had a spacious room that was clean and simple. The water pressure is great, but shower curtain was barely in tact. We needed sheets/blankets for the pullout. She said we could have one sheet since she was giving us a blanket too. So we used the flat sheet to cover the mattress and the blanket was barely a throw blanket so gave the kids one off our bed. Beds were sufficient, but definitely not comfortable. Every time someone moved, it shook the whole bed. Breakfast was far from a buffet. The waffle iron needs replaced as the coating is actively coming off and waffles just adhere to the iron and what you scrape off brings the coating with it. There is yogurt, sausage patties, cereal and bread/bagels, apples/oranges.

This is an old Baymont Inn hotel now being operated by a different owner. The front desk staff was kind and responsive. The room we got - a family studio suite - was really impressively spacious compared to similarly-described rooms at other hotels. The mattresses were comfortable. However, the hotel itself is not in good condition. The bathroom faucet wasn’t easy to operate, the walls were dirty, and the curtains hung crooked. My kids described the carpet as “old fashioned.” There were no available outlets near the bed to charge devices after a long day on the road. All in all, the building is functional but could use a major update. The breakfast also left a lot to be desired; there was one waffle maker for all the guests to use so our family had to wait quite awhile. There were very few desirable items to choose from. The food area seemed unattended and was quite messy. I would probably drive a bit and pay a little more rather than staying here again.

Good, convenient parking. Air conditioner worked very well and quickly. Staff was friendly but a little difficult to understand. Room was clean and spacious. Amenities were good, fridge, coffee pot, microwave. However the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel. My spouse and I spent the night trying to dig out of the center. Reminded me of a pull out sofa mattress. For a room costing a premium price, I was quite disappointed. New mattress and I could give 5 stars.

Tv was broken. We were promised new remote but never deliver. Carpet was damp, so room smelled musty. Toilet seat was broken. Every time some sat down, it slipped off to the side, made a huge bang and woke everyone up! The mattress was good. Near railroad, so you get to listen to trains all night.

The waffle iron needs replaced as the coating is actively coming off and waffles just adhere to the iron and what you scrape off brings the coating with it. There is yogurt, sausage patties, cereal and bread/bagels, apples/oranges.

The ceiling in the elevator was noticeably dirty with layers of dirt on the panels. The breakfast, while included left a lot to be desired. They canceled our reservation at 3:00 pm which left us scrambling to find a place to stay. They are supposed to contact you all about refunding out money since we prepaid. Hopefully they do so we get our money back!

Amenities were good, fridge, coffee pot, microwave. However the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel. My spouse and I spent the night trying to dig out of the center. Reminded me of a pull out sofa mattress. For a room costing a premium price, I was quite disappointed. New mattress and I could give 5 stars.

The first room they gave us was already being used!! I can’t upload pictures but I took pictures too then I went down to the desk and he said oh sorry I’ll get you another room.. on the elevator going back up to our new room the lady next to us said the exact same thing happened to her when they checked in.

Stains on carpet, mold on inside of shower curtain, indoor pool was drained and unavailable to use, toilet lid was round but toilet bowl was elongated, vending machine wouldn't accept bills. Bathroom had only 1 small bar soap total to use for shower and sink. Highland needs another choice of hotels to stay at.

Hotel is clean and undergoing changes but has previous hotel name signs up. Can be a little confusing.The interior changes seemed very cosmetic, but missing fixing the things that matter. Check in was easy! First room was hot and a/c had issues. They quickly got us into another room and the a/c was a little stronger but took a couple hours to cool the room down comfortably (they leave them off between uses and they are not strong enough to cool down as needed). We had a spacious room that was clean and simple. The water pressure is great, but shower curtain was barely in tact. We needed sheets/blankets for the pullout. She said we could have one sheet since she was giving us a blanket too. So we used the flat sheet to cover the mattress and the blanket was barely a throw blanket so gave the kids one off our bed. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately the room was 85 degrees. We arrived at 6pm and it took two hours to cool the room down. The bathroom floor felt sticky. There was a Continental breakfast but with knats flying around the food we opted to go by McDonald's before continuing our trip.

You should sell some type of food or snacks. We came back from a wedding and NOTHING to eat. No where in town open or able to deliver. Breakfast was ok...not good. but better than nothing. I went at 6am, there was sausage but no waffles...lol husband came at 9am....waffles but no sausage. we made it and ate a bagel, but not what we were expecting. Attendant was kind.
