This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beautiful dining room just made the whole thing magical. It wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an experience. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Bath. *The only note I would say is not suitable for anyone who can’t walk a lot of stairs*

Our stay at this delightful bed and breakfast was very enjoyable. The room was clean and well appointed. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He served us a very nice breakfast as well! We were a bit confused about the parking and just where the villa was when we arrived. My phone took us to a slightly different place. I'd advise putting the actual address into your GPS rather than just the name. We used Uber and taxis a couple of times to get into Bath center. That was easy. And we enjoyed a nice walk into town along the canal as well. A unique and nice place to stay in Bath!

Richard was such an excellent host. Amenities were lovely and the art collection in the house alone was fun to look at. Parking was a definite challenge but I don’t think I would rent a car should I have an opportunity to come to UK again. We had a lovely stay!

Lovely old building, exactly as described. Really friendly knowledgeable host. 20 minute scenic walk to town and frequent busses right outside the building. I would happily stay again and recommend. Nothing to grumble about.

Our host was so helpful in helping us arrange transportation and giving recommendations. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Be prepared to walk up steep stairs in case that is an issue for you. The location was an easy 1 mile walk to the town center

Great place. Quintessentially British and quaint house. Richard is an awesome host, very personable and attentive. Parking is a challenge, but we had a lovely 6-day stay visiting from PA USA.

What a fantastic stay, in a very memorable Villa. Cleanliness was very apparent, everywhere was simply divine and when we got into our room and saw the amazing four poster bed. Wow, simply incredible. Breakfast was superb and the 'dumbwaiter'.....fantastic. Thank you.

The best fellow that we have met, very warm personality. He made the place feel like a giant welcoming castle with lots of great stories to tell. It was clean and beautiful rooms with great amenities. We really recommend to stay there and hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful time. We’d highly recommend. The bed was very comfortable. There was wine, cookies, coffee & tea in the room each day. The room was cozily decorated. The bathroom was large, and the tub wonderful. Richard the host was fabulous! So entertaining and charming. The continental breakfast was sumptuous, with many choices including wonderful porridge. We recommend staying here if you are visiting Bath.

We had such a lovely stay! The room was beautiful, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was very luxurous and the breakfast in the morning was delicious with fresh fuit and a beautiful homemade compot. We will definitely stay again!

We loved this place and the delightful host, Richard. A beautiful 600 year old mansion with comfortable and well appointed facilities, a lovely breakfast and location that was an easy walk to the Roman baths and many wonderful eateries and shops in Bath! Would stay here again!

Lovely old building, exactly as described. Really friendly knowledgeable host. 20 minute scenic walk to town and frequent busses right outside the building. I would happily stay again and recommend. Nothing to grumble about.

This is a stunning place with such history. We will definitely stay again. The host and owner is Richard he is a really nice chap that made are stay so pleasant. We also did the walk into the city alone the towpath well worth it. The breakfast was also really nice and fresh. If you want to go back in time to a place of class this is it. Enjoy like we did.

Amazing stay at the villa, close walking distance to Bath, full of character, a lovely host. Would recommend to anyone in the area! Comfy beds and a property full oh history!

Definitely a convenient place with history. Richard was very entertaining and informative. The walking trail by the canals was special and provided an easy path to The Baths and downtown. Exceptional!!

Our host was so helpful in helping us arrange transportation and giving recommendations. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Be prepared to walk up steep stairs in case that is an issue for you. The location was an easy 1 mile walk to the town center

We stayed at Grosvenor Villa for two nights during our visit to Bath and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was very comfortable, and Richard proved to be an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and full of helpful suggestions about places to visit. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The villa itself carries a fascinating history, brought to life through Richard’s intriguing stories, making it a destination worth visiting in its own right. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Grosvenor Villa.

We had a wonderful time. We’d highly recommend. The bed was very comfortable. There was wine, cookies, coffee & tea in the room each day. The room was cozily decorated. The bathroom was large, and the tub wonderful. Richard the host was fabulous! So entertaining and charming. The continental breakfast was sumptuous, with many choices including wonderful porridge. We recommend staying here if you are visiting Bath.

This was a lovely experience with a wonderful taste of England. The breakfast that was included was wonderful. A beautiful array of fruit, danish, yogurt and other wonderful options. Well run by a friendly and interesting gentleman.

Wonderful stay at Grosvenor Villa, the host Richard was a lovely host who gave us some very helpful tips on Bath. Elegant room with tea, biscuits and free red wine. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We can really recommend staying at Grosvenor Villa, for a most memorable stay.

What a fantastic stay, in a very memorable Villa. Cleanliness was very apparent, everywhere was simply divine and when we got into our room and saw the amazing four poster bed. Wow, simply incredible. Breakfast was superb and the 'dumbwaiter'.....fantastic. Thank you.

What a unique and wonderful place to stay. Beautiful rooms, real charm and style and a sense of history about the building which is brought to life by Richard the host. Breakfast is plentiful, as is the coffee or tea. Facilities in room for making tea/coffee and small complimentary wine on arrival too. Recommended.

Our room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. The home was beautiful and our host was more than welcoming. Breakfast served in the dining room was delicious. Don’t miss out on staying in this wonderful home!

A wonderful B&B that I would recommend in a heartbeat! Richard was an excellent host. Our room was lovely and we had a great stay. We were made to feel very welcome with dog and we would love to return in the future.

Really nice and charming B&B in beautiful historical villa. The host, Richard, was very helpful and service minded. The breakfast was great and served in the original dining room of the villa. We can certainly recommend this B&B when staying in Bath.

Oh how I loved this sweet magical Inn. It’s perfect for seeing the sights in Bath,UK. It’s convenient to the bus stop or the most beautiful walk along the Avon to the City Center. The Grosvenor made us feel like we were staying at a house right out of a Jane Austen novel. I miss Richard, the owner. It was so delightful.

What an amazing place to stay. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful Georgian Villa and host Richard is fantastic. From the beautiful and peaceful garden to the stunning entrance and breakfast room full of antiquities, everything is just gorgeous. The breakfast served by Richard was wonderful and our room was lovely and spacious with a four poster King bed and great views. As there are stairs, be sure to check your room location if you have physical issues or heavy baggage. That said, we were fine with a small bag each on the top floor and we’re not young! A lovely walk into town or there’s a bus if needed. Richard also helped us by recommending the free Mayor’s walking tour which was fantastic🤗
