This is brand new hotel where an older one used to be and the owners did a great job on renovating it. They offer free drip coffee in the lobby every morning at the coffee station and a new restaurant will open off the lobby soon. Everyone was very nice and accomodating that works there. The same ownership group bought the Chandler Inn in Highlands, renovated it and renamed it The Wells Hotel which has now sold. They also own The Wells in Cashiers and the Brewery there. Across the street from Bridge Creek they bought the building that the pharmacy used to be in and Henri's sandwich shop out of Atlanta will open up in the space.

Bridge Creek Inn provided the perfect stay for us while in Clayton. The location in the old town was convenient for walkability. We highly recommend this hotel and plan to return for another stay soon. Having the Vandiver restaurant open was another perk as well as the bar downstair for coffee and other treats.

A nice modern hotel on the main Street of lovely small town Clayton GA. All the staff were beyond friendly. They have a 24/7 coffee bar and will make selected latte drinks for you. The back patio space with fire pits and furniture was a perfect area to hangout and to take our dog. They are pet friendly. The attached restaurant is great as well! My wife and I loved it and would definitely stay again.

The hotel lobby was gorgeous as was the surrounding area. The room had nasty sheets, bed bugs, and terrible air-conditioning . I was moved to another room where I didn't find bed bugs. The air conditioning in that room was also terrible. And the hot water never got hot. I checked outand went somewhere else.

Wonderful suite in downtown Clayton. The suite was absolutely spotless, extremely roomy. Close proximity to shops and restaurants meant that we could walk to almost everything we needed. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Clayton.

We enjoyed our overnight visit to Clayton and had a lovely stay at Bridge Creek Inn. It's quaint, quiet and an easy access to the downtown area. We called to have towels brought to our room on the morning of our check-out but we never received them. Other than that minor inconvenience, we really enjoyed our stay.

New hotel but with poor insulation, you can hear everything from next door guests, and they are no even loud! The lobby still has strong smell from the construction. The whole expression is really a poor motel quality and management.

The renovation doesn't fit the area. It's too minimalist and almost cold. The signage to the water and ice isn't specific enough. I do like that the ice is already bundled for guests in small bags and there is filtered water. The layout of the bathroom is weird. The shower door opened oddly and the sink faucet was too short causing water to get all over the too small counter when washing your hands. Coffee in the room is preferred.

I liked the location in downtown Clayton. The view was beautiful. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. When I came back by, the receptionist said she was sick when she handed us the key packet. The room hallways were so industrial-like, you could hear every door closing loudly. Also, another mirror and an overhead light in the room would be nice additions.

We appreciated the cleanliness, and basic design. Had concerns about our room AC, turning on our shower. No way to turn water on without getting wet. Morning coffee was too basic. Cups too small and no half and half, other than those concerns, we really liked it! We will return and recommend it to others.

The bed was super comfy and our room was clean! I thought it was a smaller hotel, but there actually seemed to be about as many rooms as a name brand. It has tall ceilings a nice finishes, no microwave though. The water pressure was lighter than we usually like and there wasn’t a lot of surface areas in the shower to place our things, or in the room to put our suitcases. I ended up combining the bench and office chair to hold my suitcase while my husband was left to use the floor. There is live music and a nice restaurant attached so bring a nicer set of clothes if you are interested in that. The towels were nice and fluffy. Staff was great! There is an $5 extra state tax charge on top of the Expedia price that we didn’t know about. Overall it was a really nice stay!

Seems to be a new hotel. Modern and clean, but: No breakfast service (not a huge issue for me) No iron and ironing board in the room. Only a steamer. Tall ceilings are nice, but very impractical furnishings (I had a corner room); hardly any desk space to work. Just a few hangers in a tiny closet nook. Water dispenser on floor, but no bottles to fill with water. Instead of ice maker, there were sacks of ice. OK, I guess.

there was a slight issue with us having access to our room upon checking in. The staff said they're system just switched over to a new one just as we were checking in and they had some difficulties activating our room key. It's also been almost a week and they're still holding on to our security deposit which I find kind of strange, but besides those two minor hiccups everything about the hotel and area were great.

Housekeeping was not great. Room was just ok. Asked for another because of streetlight being directly I front of my window and was told she didn’t know how to do that that she was sorry for the issue. This lead to poor sleep the entire week I was there even with the shades drown. .

This is a new hotel, great location, very professional staff, super clean, great barista area, but they had issues. The restaurant/bar area said online opening Spring 2024, it was not yet opened. That was disappointing! They were still renovating it and the smell of epoxy was terrible on the 1st floor. Tyler offered us a full refund but, there were no available rooms anywhere close to us so we stayed and he moved us to the 2nd floor which was better. However, the A/C was not working well, it was set on 73 and you couldn’t change it. We went to Walmart & purchased a small fan, multiple people complained, This hotel has great potential, once they get everything fixed & open. Tyler was very professional, super polite, and always greeted every guest as they came in and out of the hotel.

Bridge Creek Inn is a stylish and comfortable hotel in the heart of Clayton - an impressive renovation of an older downtown building. The hotel restaurant, the Vandiver, was excellent, also.

Hotel is newly opened. The on site dining won't be open until late Spring. But there are great restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Clayton is a charming town - has great shops. Not sky high prices like some more "resort" mountain towns.
