Basically at the top of the mountain! At times you are above the clouds. The condo was very clean and decorated to make it feel like home! We definitely want to go back! Excellent property!

This is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in, by far. Dean is very timely in his responses. Check-in was great. Close enough to walk to top of sugar mountain’s summit express lift then ski down. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect experience, highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Dean's place! So cozy! The house was immaculate and decorated so cute! The view was spectacular! The beds were comfy and the fireplace added extra coziness and warmth! We booked this condo for a spring break getaway with our boys. Dean, the owner, was the most responsive host we’ve ever encountered. The condo was immaculate. And the pictures, as great as they are, hardly capture the absolute beauty of the place. For us, it was a vacation of a lifetime. We could not have been happier with our experience. I highly recommend this condo. It is a very special place.

Location was great too, right on Sugar Mountain, under 10 minute drive to the base of the mountain (stores & groceries) and also to the ski resort. This was our 3rd booking of this beautiful property. As always, Dean provided everything we needed and more. The furniture is comfortable and warm. The views from the deck are outstanding of the mountain ridges to the west and to beautiful sunsets as the clouds allow.

My friend and I were extremely happy with our stay! Dean has done a great job in all the little details and we liked how the condo is decorated...so many mountain touches! The back deck provides a spectacular view of those gorgeous mountain ranges, and we had a front row-seat to a beautiful sunset. The beds were really comfy, and the unit was so clean. Coming back in the late aftenoon October weather and turning on the fireplace....awesome! Definitely want to return...thanks, Dean!

The unit is very nice and very well stocked. The furniture is comfortable and up to date. The views from both the great room and the master bedroom are spectacular. The TV setup is very good with cable and the easy ability to log onto your video services such as YouTube TV. In addition, if you like to watch movies on DVD, Dean must have 200 or so that are almost new. Each bedroom plus the great room are set up with a smart TV and a DVD player. The kitchen has all the essentials we needed for our stay. Dean was very good in communicating both before and during our stay. We plan on staying here again in the future.

The view from this condo is amazing from the living room and master bedroom, especially at sunset. The condo is well laid out and spacious. The beds are comfortable, and each bedroom has great furniture. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and with all the amenities. We love the kitchen - great appliances, tools, utensils etc - with lots of counter spaces. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

We stayed for a long weekend family ski trip. Property was clean, in great condition and well furnished/stocked. Convenient location and amazing views off the back porch. Entry is down 1 level from ground, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had a great time staying at this condo for a quick family ski trip this weekend. The condo was very clean and accommodating. The beds were comfy. Linens and extra blankets were a huge plus. The kitchen was very well appointed. The condo is centrally located near all the attractions with Sugar Mountain within 2 miles going back roads. The view is spectacular from the balcony. Our host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Definitely will stay here again!

Dean went above and beyond answering our questions. Pretty much everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing stay was available. You can tell Dean put a lot of thought into outfitting the place to ensure his guests were able to relax and be stress-free. The views from the back deck are phenomenal, as well.

Quiet getaway with my mom and daughter . We have been doing this for 2 years now and this area is very quiet to get away and relax . We enjoyed this condo it’s very nice and clean . The views are beautiful . It’s not too far from Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock .

The kitchen was very well appointed. The condo is centrally located near all the attractions with Sugar Mountain within 2 miles going back roads. The view is spectacular from the balcony. Our host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Definitely will stay here again!

Rating: Five stars isn't enough! Between the postcard-worthy views and the pristine, pretty interiors, we didn't want to leave. The host was super helpful and attentive. A truly immaculate stay in every sense of the word.If you’re looking for a perfect getaway, this is it. The home is beautifully decorated with a warm, high-end feel, and it was sparkling clean when we arrived. We spent most of our time staring out the windows and enjoying the fireplace that turned on with a click of a button—the views are truly breathtaking and don't even feel real. Our host was also fantastic, responding to every message within minutes. Highly recommend!
