The Buccaneer House - Oceanfront

We absolutely loved the location of this unit! The view is amazing from the balcony! Host did a good job staying in communication with us, especially when we had issues with the keypad code. Also nice that host provided basic items such as dish soap, tp, etc. to get us through the majority of our 10 day stay. The beach chairs, body boards & sand building tools available were so handy to have. I will say, it would've been nice if the coffee maker wasn't just the kind that uses the pods (we don't have anything that fancy at our house & it would've been nice to make more than 1 cup @ a time) & the water pressure in the shower could've been better. My husband thought it was fine but it took me forever to wash my longer hair. Some additional hangers would've also been nice but I was glad some an iron was at least available. Although there isn't really a comfortable spot to use the small tabletop ironing board. Yes, there is a parking spot dedicated to the unit, but the driveway to get in & out of it was difficult to do so. Not sure how 2 cars could easily use the spots at the same time. We ended up parking on the street at the top of the stairs most nights & would only pull the car into the driveway just to load up & head out. Location is very walkable to downtown where you will find tons of shops & restaurants to choose from. Bed is comfortable & the couch in the living room also folds out to a bed. This was less comfortable but still not too bad.

Awesome location and great amenities in the unit and so close to more. It was great that beach chair were provided. Overall it was wonderful stay with my family and the kids has a blast.

Absolutely loved our stay, the views were awesome, the location was even better!! Literally right next to everything, the amenities were nice as well. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Hosts were attentive and easy to communicate with. Had a relaxing weekend listening to the sound of the waves each morning ✨👌

This was the perfect place for our family of 4, kids are young so we’re able to share the pull out couch. Location and ocean views were AMAZING and we loved sleeping to the sound of the waves! Would definitely stay here again!

The view is amazing! We woke up the first day and saw dolphins playing in the surf! The place is nice and clean and has everything you need. It’s walkable to lots of great restaurants and Nick is very quick to respond. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Oceanside!
