Our hotel was very clean, welcoming. When we checked in, the young woman (Tiffany) at the front desk reviewed all the amenities included in our stay (complimentary coffee and tea around the clock, free continental breakfast with hours of provision), and any concerns we might have had regarding safety, etc. Nice quiet room. The gentleman working the front desk in the mornings was, however, not friendly. When I asked for my printout receipt, he said it was being emailed to me, and didn’t offer a printout at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly visit again.

The room we occupied was VERY clean and well maintained. the drawbacks in our room were two: The TV was small...an easy upgrade to make for the hotel to make. The other was that the room had a tub/shower as opposed to a walk in shower, but given what we paid for the room, It was a VERY good value! My friend is somewhat handicapped and the room was at the end of the hall on the second floor...Not a problem The hotel is not super huge so the walk was short and there was a large clean working elevator near the front desk....We enjoyed our stay.

I've stayed at Mountain Inn and Suits for the past three years during MrMaple's Open House. It's a very reasonably priced, comfortable, great coffee, and very nice employ's Inn. The parking lot is large and it's easy on and off the main highway threw town.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the lobby adorable with board games at tables like checkers, chess, backgammon. They had information avaliable about local restaurants, menus and recommendations. Their breakfast options were light; no fuit other than bananas, no eggs other than hard boiled. Also light on amenities; no pool or gym. I would go back and would recommend.

We loved the hotel hotel so much that we have already booked it again for an overnight stop on our way to the beach this spring and summer Location is great, right off the interstate. Nice breakfast, but there is a Waffle House right next store. Dedicated pet area, stocked with poop bags and trash containers. Our room was right off the main entrance, which made it very convenient. Comfortable bed and, most of all, clean. Highly recommend for pet travelers.

I really enjoyed my stay. Jerry and Stephanie were very kind and they do their jobs very well. I truly felt like a welcomed guest. My room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast had plenty of options and the lobby's coffee was always hot. Very large, open parking and very well lit at night. I will definitely be staying here again.

The Moutain Inn and Suites is a family owned, non-franchise hotel. It is every bit, if not better, than similar franchises (Holiday Inn Express, Best Western, Comfort Inn and Suites. The cleanliness is second to none. The staff is friendly and responsive. This is our 2nd stay and it will not be the last.

Everything was great except for the blood I found on the sheet on my bed. Returned late and hit the hay immediately, not checking out the right side of the bed. In the morning after I got up is when I saw areas of dried blood. During checkout I brought this to the attention of the two men working the counter. Neither seemed too interested in this issue, stating we'll check it out. When I said "Is that it?", one of the men said we could give you a discount but it might take a while. We said forget it and left.

Under the couch cushions was a lot of crumbs indicating they hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. The carpet was full of stains. The refrig hadn't been defrosted. The mattress had fluffy topper and a second soft pad making it impossible to sleep on the bed - sunk down to the point of pain in my back. The pull-out couch mattress was so thin and worn that you could feel the springs pushing thru. Had to use all of the bedding to make a cushion in order to try and sleep on it. Unsuccessfully!! Didn't get any sleep. Thought of sleeping on the floor but it was too dingy and dirty looking. The furniture was old, outdated and in poor condition. Wallpaper in bathroom was peeling. Hotel is so old that the sink in the bathroom was so low that it was uncomfortable for even my wife, 5'1" tall to use. Walls are so thin that could clearly hear what the guests in the rooms next to us were talking about.

This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity was restored. They were also allowing guests to wait out the storm in the lobby and breakfast areas. Overall, we were highly impressed by Mountain Inn and Suites, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a restful getaway.

Had to ask for clean linens because upon arrival, my bed linens were covered in black dog hair. The occupants above us were running up amd down the halls as well as in and out of the rroms There must be no insulation between floorsnecause we heard every footsteps.

This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Everything shines. Looks clean and smells clean. Situated near the interstate but far enough away to be quiet. All the restaurants we wanted to try were about 10 minutes away. Very highly recommended.

Everything great about the place for a 2 star with the exception that my ground floor room had that pervasive musty motel room smell. Clean and no visible mold, just “that damp smell”. In my opinion if they got rid of the carpets and put in wood floors, this would fix the issue and room would be 3 stars. As is, it’s a deal breaker for me and my moderately sensitive sinuses.

The overall look of the place was pleasing as we arrived. The staff was friendly. The room was well laid out and clean. There were plenty of towels. The bed was comfy. I would have just liked bigger pillows. We will stay here again.

A private setting and clean rooms. The curtains have a space between the air conditioner and bottom of the window. If you are on the front side of the hotel, the light bleeds through and makes it harder to sleep.

Nice hotel, large room. Immaculately clean, although that left a bit of a cleaner smell lingering. Quiet, but you can hear neighbors through walls and ceiling. Windows open - we like that! Location fairly convenient. Breakfast basic but fine.

The staff were efficient checking us in. We requested a room change due to the location that they politely arranged. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the location quiet. The only recommendation would be to add more lighting. Both the sitting area and bedroom were dark.

My stay was with daughter's family for a fun family reunion in Hendersonville. Room was comfortable with main issue being the A/C cutting off when on Auto despite the fact that the room wasn't cool. When taken off Auto it seemed to work properly. Some guy had a car issue in side lot needing help jumpstarting it. I helped but Sheriff was present next day talking with same guy about car before he trounced away. Loved the breakfast bar!

I had made a reservation a little over 2 weeks before, for the weekend, for a wedding. Thankfully, at the airport, I was checking our car and hotel reservations. Without notice, they canceled my reservation and here we were, at the airport on the way down, and no where to stay. A little notice would have been good. They had no other rooms available, so it was a scramble to find a place. Very disappointed and frustrating experience.

Excellent staff that could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The motel appears to be relatively new and well maintained. We had a VRBO reserved for four families to celebrate Thanksgiving and when we arrived it was already occupied. The Mountain Inn staff went out of their way to provide rooms for everyone.

Overall, we were highly impressed by Mountain Inn and Suites, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a restful getaway.
This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity was restored. They were also allowing guests to wait out the storm in the lobby and breakfast areas. Overall, we were highly impressed by Mountain Inn and Suites, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a restful getaway.

The front desk said they were having computer problem and " might get it fixed in 30 minutes, but had already had problem for over 30 minutes. I offered to leave my credit card,so we could check in by hand, but they said they coudn't do that. Front desk did not have a clue what to do. If it had not been prepaid, we would have found another hotel. We waited around and finally checked in 45 minutes later.

Although located directly by the interstate, there was an alley of trees and a small hill that kept the noise away. The property was very well kept and the friendly staff kept the facilities squeaky clean. It was the perfect stay for a weekend in Hendersonville with great value for the price.

Nice quaint hotel right off 26, convenient to Asheville or east to Hwy 74. Enjoyed our stay and continental breakfast with waffle iron was more than adequate. Great, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel is a little bit outdated. It is conveniently located and it was clean. The employees were very nice and professional. Breakfast was a little disappointed. There is no really hot brekfast, just bagels,waffles, some fruits and cereals. No scrambled eggs or sausage.

Very nice place. Just off the interstate. There was some noise from the street and the shower in the next room. Coffee good. Waffle machine, yogurt, bananas, small sausage and biscuits, bagels and juice for breakfast.

It's was a very pleasant and quiet place to stay. What we needed. Room was clean. Convenient for my mom who needed the first floor due to walking issues. Very helpful and arranged that for us. Breakfast was very good. Waffles were great. The selection was good. Thank you and we will be back.

We stay here every time we are in the area. I love the fact you can bring your dog. The rooms are clean & do not have pet odor like some places that allot pets. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel at home.

Did not have anything that my husband could eat for breakfast...he is celiac and needed gluten free. It would be so simple to have hard boiled eggs and/or the prepackaged gluten free breakfast burritos made with corn tortillas

Hotel and room were clean, but the carpet smelled musty and the room felt damp when entering. The bathroom was clean and the staff was very helpful, allowing me to check in early. I would return because the location was good for my trip, but I think the property would do better if they replaced the carpet with hard flooring.
