Split review, summary and then more details: Excellent property, don’t expect parking and I hope the front desk relaxes and just opens their doors to paid guests, we can figure out if it’s crowded or not. This is a very nice property and we slept great and very well priced. But they advertise parking and they have almost no parking and then sold us a parking pass 15euro to a garage a couple streets over. Their hotel assets like gym and hot tub and roof top deck is controlled by appointment and a special key from the front desk. My vacation is unscheduled because it’s my vacation, if the hot tub is full when I decide I feel like going, I can accept that. I don’t need the front desk to pencil me in when I think I might be ready for a soak or what time I might wake up and be ready for the gym. Gym is very small, a single multi-weight machine that is not great and a treadmill, elliptical and stationary bike. Needs a foam mat a dumbbell rack and a new and much more versatile multi-weights machine.

Parking not available on the street but many parking garages around (15euros/day). Hotel is clean, beds and pillows are super confortable. The only downside is that you hear everything from the street to the neighbor rooms - which are not soundproof at all so you need earplugs for a good night sleep. Good value hotel for a short stay.

Reception staff were excellent. the room was clean with a great shower plenty of hot water. large laptop friendly safe and small fridge. There were 2 bottles of water in the fridge but nothing to say if they were complimentary or not. the staff at the bar were friendly and efficient but it would have been nice to have had the bar open in the afternoons after coming back from sightseeing and just wanting to have a drink and relax

El alojamiento bien, sin más. Como punto en contra el personal del hotel no era especialmente agradable, y por otro lado, al haber una fiesta en el hotel una de las noches era complicado dormir hasta que no terminó. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Von dort aus erreicht man alle wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß. Das Zimmer war sauber und für ein 4 Sterne Hotel sehr solide. Das einige was eher für ein 3 Sterne Hotel spricht, war das eher kontinentale Frühstück in einem in die Jahre gekommen Speisesaal. Der Service war sehr professionell.

This is not a 4- start hotel. It’s old, run down, poorly maintained, dirty. There were ants in the room and accumulated bird poop in the terrace. The AC didn’t work properly in either of the rooms we stayed in. This is a fraud and I’ll pursue further action to get a refund

Un séjour parfait! Chambre familliale très propre et bien agencée. Tout est fonctionnel, juste les fenêtres mal ésolées, on entendait tout au dehors même fenêtres fermées. Quartier très calme aux heures de dormir. Beacoup de restaurants à proximité(non halal, ce qui était dommage pour nous), beaucoup de boutiques en tout genre, ruelles agréables pour une promenade. Personnels fort sympathique même si nous nous compronions pas(ne parlent pas français et nous, pas l'espagnole). Une envie d'y revenir.

Hotel Nuevo Torreluz is ideally situated in the centre for sightseeing, restaurants and bars. It seemed the nicest area of Almeria, with everything close at hand. The hotel overlooks a pleasant plaza and my room was at the front. I stayed over a weekend and didn’t find it too noisy. The room was clean and comfortable; the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was in an underground car park a couple of minutes easy walk away. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and, in particular, the breakfast. At 10€ (pre-booked), it was fantastic value for money.
