This hotel is convenient for walking to the Acropolis, museum and restaurants in the area, although there is a climb which some may find taxing. Beautiful view of the Parthenon from our balcony. Reception friendly and very helpful, particularly arranging taxis as taxi fares in Athens vary considerably. Good assortment for breakfast. The hotel has a small pool but its location means that it doesn't get much sun, so can be a little cool. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.

Good hotel although would not recommend it if you are planning on using the metro or are a solo traveler. The way over from the closest metro station is insanely steep, and you need to climb stairs on an iffy block which gave us the creeps a bit. While the rooftop does have an amazing view of the Acropolis, the terrace itself is pretty lousy, with old rusty tables and chairs and zero shade. All in all, I would say a fair hotel but I have stayed at better in Athens before....

Great location. Nice and quiet however only a 5-10 minute walk into the tourist area. Views from the terrace are possibly some of the best you will get in Athens. There is a small bar downstairs that is exceptionally good value.

Wonderful stay, location brilliant - we parked on street for free day and night (do check not blocking doors or in yellow markings); from hotel to Acropolis ticket office 10 mins (and we aren’t fit); can walk to Plaka and Monsiraki square in 15-20 mins (get e-scooters if you can and much easier). Service was excellent, view from roof terrace is worth the fee alone, breakfast was fantastic - very good selection and good quality (feta or feta in filo pastry with honey is a winner). Hotel peaceful at night and right on edge of the park. Would stay here anytime I was in Athens.

The hotel was okay. the worst thing about it was the bathroom. You have to walk through the shower to the toilet and the shower curtain isn't hung so that it keeps water off the toilet and toilet paper. Everything got soaked! the was small, which I expected, but also very hard and uncomfortable. The patio on the fifth floor was very nice and had a good view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The pool was good, except there were no handrails and I found it hard to get out. The staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi who accepted credit cards to take us to the cruise port. Breakfast was so-so.

Très proche de l'Acropole, dans un quartier calme, bon hôtel moderne et très propre. Excellente literie. Bon petit déjeuner. Piscine sans charme particulier (coincée entre les bâtiments) mais très agréable après une visite dans la fournaise d'Athènes. Une bonne adresse.

The only issue I had was the pictures of the pool on the website didn't let us know that it was at the bottom of the hotel and really didn't get sun, but other than that the staff and room were nice and the beds were comfortable.

Loved our 5 nights at this hotel. Easy check in, room was a good size for 3 & very clean. Little balcony was a nice extra. The show stopper was the roof terrace though, amazing views. Great location too, easy to walk & safe! My daughter enjoyed the pool too.

Tolles, sehr gut geführtes Hotel in perfekter Lage zur Akropolis. Die kleinen, aber modernen und gut eingerichteten Zimmer haben vom Balkon teilweise einen Blick auf die Akropolis und von der Dachterrasse gibt es einen einzigartigen Rundumblick über die Stadt und auf die Akropolis. Für mobilitätseingeschränkte Besucher nur bedingt geeignet, weil der Aufstieg zum Hotel sehr steil ist und es nicht viele Parkplätze gibt. Mit dem Taxi/Uber aber problemlos erreichbar. Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück. Volle Empfehlung!

Les chambres ne sont pas exemplaires en terme de propreté. La piscine avait un cerne vert autour du rebord et il y avait des matières en suspension dans l’eau qui n’étaient pas toujours reconnaissable. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais les œufs brouillés, bacon et saucisses étaient tiède ou froid. Chambres très petites.

The hotel was tired and felt and looked not as clean as it should/could be. Great location. People very nice. The walk to Plaka or the markets is about 15 mins… lots of uphill and stairs.

DON’t just DON’T! Property is on a hill and busy street without sidewalks. The rooftop consists of a few worn out patio tables. The pool is old and dirty and located between two walls. The lobby has a strong odor of heavy perfumed cleaning solutions that triggered an asthma attack. Arriving on our flood we were faced with a dark creepy hallway with stained, wobbly carpet that felt like it had sustained water damage. Our room had more dirty carpets, worn out towels, stained upholstery, stuffy air, and a persistent heavy perfumed cleaning solution odor that would not dissipate even after we opened the balcony door. We quickly realized that we could not stay and opted to leave. Expedia tried to advocate for a refund but was unsuccessful in getting a refund for my €355 for the TWO NIGHT booking. I am sure Expedia has received their cut from the fee… :( Bad blood- rethinking my options for booking from this platform.

Rooms were clean and well laid out. View of the Acropolis were great. The staff was wonderful, especially the housekeeper. All staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely within walking distance of the Acropolis, bus, and rail lines. I would love to return there again some day.

Frühstück gute Auswahl aber Sauberkeit naja benutzte Gläser wurden nicht ausgetauscht auch wurde nichts aufgefüllt. Wenn man gefragt hat war dir Putzfrau etwas säuerlich. Acropolis und Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuss aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren nicht vorhanden.

Overall my stay was great. The area is quite and only a 15 minute walk to the main attractions or transit. As a solo traveler the area around the hotel was very safe. The rooms are on the tiny side but very clean and the internet signal and connectivity was great throughout the hotel. The bed was super comfortable, the mini fridge was convenient to have and the views from the room and guest deck were amazing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The only things that could be improved is putting some lounge chairs up on the guest deck so that people can suntan or relax, especially since the pool is in the shade all day. A heated spimming pool would have been nice too. Other than that the breakfast buffet could have had more fresh fruit options, but it was well stocked with several other breakfast options.

As an American from Texas (where everything’s bigger) we weren’t ready for the teeny, tiny elevator, but it simply added to the uniqueness of the experience. This was a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. We enjoyed the quiet charm and amazing view of the Acropolis (from our balcony). If we’re ever in Athens again, we’d stay here!

The room was small but nice.Views from room was of the wall of hotel. The breakfast was amazing! We loved everything we tried. The drawback we had was that we had to walk up a dark sketchy road up a very large hill with no good side walk to get back to hotel everyday from acropolis area.

Room was a little small (normally not an issue, but couldn’t get the suitcase around the edge of the bed, lol). Breakfast was good. Location across from a terrific walkable park. Walking to acropolis was close, but hairy due to lack of shoulder/sidewalk on a busyish street). Water heats up fast, nice. Lots of energy-saving initiatives.

We had a nice stay. Pool was great. Breakfast each morning was really nice. Lots of choices. Rooms are very spacious and our shower was enormous. We never did get our room safe working. I asked at the front desk and he said he would fix it but never did. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent for sightseeing without the need for taxis. The area around it is quiet yet just 10/15 minutes away and you are at the base of the Acropolis slopes. The metro, other historic sites and Plaka are also within walking distance. Cristos was on the desk the day of our arrival and made us extremely welcome, giving us directions to the roof top theatre we were visiting and advice on how the metro and taxis work, to get to the meet up points for other trips. All the staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. This is the first time I have ever found a hotel bed that is more comfortable than my own! The whole place was spotlessly clean and well presented. The pool was a marvellously cool place to spend an hour or so after sightseeing in the 30 degree heat. We requested a room with a balcony with a view of the Acropolis (a treat for our wedding anniversary) and what a view! The Acropolis can also be seen from the roof top garden for those without the view. Breakfast was calm, unrushed and plentiful whatever time you went down. We would definitely stay here again and totally recommend the hotel for all the above reasons. Fabulous oasis to stay in the midst of an extremely busy and wonderful capital city.

The location of Acropolis Hill Hotel was perfect! We loved being able to walk to key sites in Athens (highly recommend the GetYourGuide Athens Archaeological Sites Combo Ticket) & many nearby restaurants (recommendations include Greek Stories, Grandpa Trattoria & Kalamaki Bar).The breakfast downstairs at the hotel was also amazing! So many options & all delicious! While it was great being able to walk everywhere, it stands to note that, as the name says, it's on a hill. Lots of steps and steep streets, so bring your walking shoes! It's very walkable in terms of distance, not so much in ease. Taxis were readily available through Uber. We met our driver, Christos, through Uber (ctzikos at gmail - tell him Rossanna sent you!) and ended up sticking with him through our trip. He was very friendly, welcoming, reliable, and for a flat rate rate of 40€ to/from the airport, can't be beat! Our room was comfy & clean, though there were little bugs that would get in somehow, which was annoying, but not unbearable (we just had to smush a few each day). The front desk staff was nice overall, though not all of them were super welcoming. I mention this to be transparent, but these slight negatives didn't impact our overall trip, and we still enjoyed our stay here! Overall, we had a wonderful time in Greece & recommend Acropolis Hill Hotel due to its amazing location & delicious breakfast!

Rooms were clean and well laid out. View of the Acropolis were great. The staff was wonderful, especially the housekeeper. All staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely within walking distance of the Acropolis, bus, and rail lines. I would love to return there again some day.

We had a blast at the Acropolis Hill, 2 blocks away from the Acropolis entrance, tour bus stop and many stores and restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they even order delivery food for us one night. You can enjoy the view at their terrace, so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was included and it has a variety of options and good enough to start our day.

Good hotel although would not recommend it if you are planning on using the metro or are a solo traveler. The way over from the closest metro station is insanely steep, and you need to climb stairs on an iffy block which gave us the creeps a bit. While the rooftop does have an amazing view of the Acropolis, the terrace itself is pretty lousy, with old rusty tables and chairs and zero shade. All in all, I would say a fair hotel but I have stayed at better in Athens before....

My review is a little jaded because I only found myself here when my flight out of Athens was cancelled and I could not find many places to stay. I definitely booked their last available and worst room. But, their worst and darkest room still gets four stars. Which bodes well. Otherwise, the pool is small and great for shade worshipers since it is in a completely enclosed courtyard. The location and views are amazing! If you don’t mind walking up down hills, this might be the hotel for you!

Excellent location, great staff, awesome rooftop to view the city and the acropolis. From our room we could see it as well as the sea! Be prepared for some steep uphill streets coming back from the city, but it’s worth it.

The room was small but nice.Views from room was of the wall of hotel. The breakfast was amazing! We loved everything we tried. The drawback we had was that we had to walk up a dark sketchy road up a very large hill with no good side walk to get back to hotel everyday from acropolis area.

La piscine avait un cerne vert autour du rebord et il y avait des matières en suspension dans l’eau qui n’étaient pas toujours reconnaissable. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais les œufs brouillés, bacon et saucisses étaient tiède ou froid. Chambres très petites.

Hotel molto carino in zona comoda situato tra il quartiere Plaka e Koukaki. La struttura è nuova, pulita e ben conservata. L’hotel è piccolo, ma con ogni confort: una piscina e una terrazza panoramica dalla quale si vede l’Acropoli. La colazione varia e completa (dolce, salato, frutta, yogurt greco ecc…). Ho richiesto la stanza con vista e a sinistra vedevo il Pireo mentre a destra l’Acropoli. Il bagno confortevole con doccia e asciugacapelli e prodotti di cortesia. La camera piccola (era una tripla), ma con terrazzo. Il quartiere tipico, tranquillo e ben tenuto; in 5-10 minuti si raggiunge il museo dell’Acropoli. Le foto corrispondono alla realtà.

A quiet hotel in a residential street. Very comfy bed. Great shower. Short walk to the Acropolis. Great eateries down nearby Drakou. We regularly walked down into town and back. Swimking pool is not massive but fine for a cooling swim. Hood variety at Breakfast. I'd definitely stay again.

Frühstück gute Auswahl aber Sauberkeit naja benutzte Gläser wurden nicht ausgetauscht auch wurde nichts aufgefüllt. Wenn man gefragt hat war dir Putzfrau etwas säuerlich. Acropolis und Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuss aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren nicht vorhanden.

Great location near Acropolis Hill and within 5-15 minute walk of quality restaurants. Comfy bed and two pillows. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice for the day. Only gripe is the curtains don't keep much light out even at night but that wouldn't stop me coming back.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel. The rooms are pretty small, but well equipped and a decent balcony. The breakfast is a good healthy Greek breakfast with lots of local delicacies. The rooftop terrace has a stunning view of the Acropolis. And while it doesn't have a restaurant, the local restaurants are excellent and if you don't feel like walking the very steep hill, they have an order in arrangement that works well. The staff were helpful and the pool was a welcome amenity after a hot day walking.
