I did not receive a upgrade there was charge for it which I paid. Overall an old but charming well kept property which is kind of a oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Gym could do with a rowing machine and if outdoor dining can solve the mosquito issue which is one of the hindrance in eating outside. Would stay again on our next visit

Excellent staff and food was also very good. Highly recommend the Thai green curry it was the best I’ve ever eaten! And I’ve eaten a lot. The pool service was very good but a little maintenance required.

Every single member of staff went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. There were some issues regarding wheelchair accessibility. When I brought these up, the staff did a property walk around noting improvements that they will be making.

Absolutely amazing experience at a stunning resort nestled in greenery that makes it impossible to believe it's in the heart of a bustling city. The rooms are beautifulllu decorated with balconies overlooking the canopy of a massive 125 year-old tree that make you want to sit outside forever. The food is beyond delicious and the service is as good as any I've encountered in 25 years of travel to over 35 countries. Kudos to the whole Oberoi team for curating one of the best stay

It was a super stay but unfortunately very short! Hopefully will do it again for few extra days. The concierge went out of their way to order an adapter that they did not have for me and I recieived it in my room within a few hours... very impressive! Everything was good restaurants, service, reception, swimming pool, cleanliness. Beautiful reception/building defo will come back.

This property is definitely beautiful. No question. But its showing its age. From carpets to the elevators to the walls all common areas apart from the ground floor are showing the age. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Staff was awesome. But its NOT a 5 star or an ultra-luxurious hotel in my opinion. The Thai restaurant on site is awesome!

One of the finest hotels I ever stayed. Everything was outstanding- service, cleanliness, food quality, decor, garden, view, restaurants, atmosphere. Only thing I did not like was spa experience as the person who massaged me was not good and not professional, so I had to travel to another hotel for massages. While prices were quite high, wish they hired better massage professionals.

Property was clean and nice. It was in the middle of the city but it was still giving a secluded feeling with all the greenery around. What I love the most was the hospitality received from the moment I stepped in. They checked me in and also offered to bring my hand luggage to the room. They also offered a welcome drink. The breakfast buffet was great and delicious and lots of choices. The hospitality was an extra notch higher when they offered me to go drink to take with me and also offered me to take some breakfast to go as well when I was telling them I was going to visit my family. I definitely was it here again should I come in the future.

It's an old beautiful hotel.The deluxe rooms are quite small and we had to upgrade to a premier room. We also had a flood in the bathroom as the water leaked out from the shower doors as the edges were quite wide open to allow water through. There are a few things that were overlooked such as cleanliness of the meal napkins. Food and service was great though.

Experienced three different service issues at The Polo Cafe, Wabi Sabi, and Lapis restaurants on three days. After reporting the instances, did not receive any satisfactory response or resolution from the Management. Poor supervision! Bureaucratic and unempathetic management! Hence one less rating than “Excellent”! But most of the other staff were very kind, polite, responsive, and helpful. Good spa and gym facilities. Nice swimming pool. Good service at the Front Desk, Security, Housekeeping, Laundry, and at Breakfast.

Stay was good. Anant did his best (true gentleman) Rooms were too small for a brand like Oberoi. I can bet other hotel in MG road has bigger area for the rooms. Bed size too small. Their king bed doesn’t seems to be king bed.

There was a problem at check in, Expedia shows King size bed, the hotel gave me a queen bed, had to verbally tussle with management to give me what was shown on Expedia. Eventually I was given what was shown at reservation. Everything was smooth after that.

Every single member of staff went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. There were some issues regarding wheelchair accessibility. When I brought these up, the staff did a property walk around noting improvements that they will be making.

My stay at the Oberoi at Bengaluru was superb. The service and friendliness provided by the staff is above and beyond. The 'mini forrest' surrounding the pool and that the balcony looks onto provides a nice and calm setting for the hotel and is literally a breath of fresh air compared to the smell of dust from the city. The food is also amazing and that includes the buffet breakfast, which also has an included in dining menu, cooked to order. The room also has many provisions, I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely amazing experience at a stunning resort nestled in greenery that makes it impossible to believe it's in the heart of a bustling city. The rooms are beautifulllu decorated with balconies overlooking the canopy of a massive 125 year-old tree that make you want to sit outside forever. The food is beyond delicious and the service is as good as any I've encountered in 25 years of travel to over 35 countries. Kudos to the whole Oberoi team for curating one of the best stay

Beautiful property with gorgeous trees and garden. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The one problem there we found was that the bar and restaurants were very slow and under-staffed. Spoke with the Food & Bev manager about it and asked him not to criticize the staff just hire more people and organize things better.. Chef Masoom is very talented and Adina was very helpful too.
