Loved the swim up bar and pool area (relaxing and not too noisy). The staff were outstanding - very friendly and able to help with our gluten free dietary restrictions. Great workout facilities and like the boat trip to Iconsiam mall

Loved the swim-up bar. The resort layout was nice and beautiful. The free shuttle boat was great. The spa was amazing. The breakfast was good but the Sunday seafood brunch was better. All of the staff were fantastic!

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived ,friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Despite the hotel being busy, there was always a sun lounger available when you wanted some downtime. The rooms were lovely, spotlessly clean, and I had a great night’s sleep. The gym was unbelievable, with high quality equipment that really stood out. I can’t wait to stay again the next time I’m in Bangkok.

From the time we checked in until the time we left, the staff were absolutely incredible. Friendly, efficient accommodating. We had a riverfront King room and while it was loud with the window open, it certainly wasn’t a problem once it was closed. The gym is first rate, the boats to Sathon Pier and ICONSIAM mall were fun in and of themselves and provided a very convenient way to get into downtown. I would absolutely stay here again and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone else.

This is a lovely huge hotel with friendly efficient staff. A couple of times I was waiting in a queue in reception and other staff appeared like genes to assist me. If you are into the gym this is one of the best I have seen at any hotel. The breakfast is also one of the widest and diverse choices I have ever had and is worth paying the money for. Delightful swimming pool with a call button at each sunbed for service. I got a couple of massages which were relaxing . I would definitely stay here again.

Not really a 4/5 star hotel, quite old and not well maintained with patches of mold painted over, and bad touchup paint everywhere. Staff is friendly and food was good but for the price much better options out there.

期待してたから余計残念だった。宿泊初日は前日の宿泊客の使用済みタオルが床に散乱したままでショックだった。シャワーを使うと水捌けが悪すぎて外まで溢れて大変だった。バルコニーからの景色は素敵だったけど、目の前の川がまぁまぁ臭くて結局ほとんどバルコニーには出てない。海外だからこんなもんかと自分を納得させたが、そこそこ良いホテルなだけあって残念な気持ちが勝ってしまった。。

Spent 5 nights here in October 2025. Nice check-in. Got a room that had both a pool- and a river view. There were no balcony furniture on my balcony. The bed was worn down and the 4 pillows were flat.. Worst of all, however, were the yellow ants in the room. Lots of them on all the benches and around the coffee machine. Really disgusting. My balcony door fell of the last day. The building needs a real update! The pool area was large with sunbeds that had thick mattresses. This became a problem as it rained. All the mattresses were constantly wet. No showers at the pool. All the sweaty people washed themselves in the pool water. There were also only a few toilets and a bit far off. Unfresh. All the hallways in the hotel were very slippery and both me and others were seen falling over and slipping at regular intervals. Shocking! The breakfast was huge but also messy and lots of people and many families with children.Nice location right on the river, but it was impossible to sit close to the water due to the lack of fans and umbrellas. Restaurant prices were way to high. Pad Thai 520 baht. The rooms are a hit or miss. Many rooms face a parking lot or look straight into a bush. The rooms by the river have the best view, but the high noise level from all the boats kept on going all night. At check out the approach was less nice. No one asked how my stay had been. No welcoming back either. Sad ending. I have no desire to return. Very low value for money.

The service of a 5 star hotel! Their employees were very attentive, well mannered, always smiling and just overall excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I recommend getting the river view, you won’t regret it. I started missing the hotel the moment my boyfriend and I checked in to a different hotel in a different city. Excellent as always. Fantastic pool and staff. New hotel app to order room service ,clean room etc easy to use. Love taking the boat up the river to the skytrain then into central Bangkok and miss the traffic jams.Only negative is slow wifi with poor signal.

This is the perfect hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are huge, and the food is great. Despite it being in a huge city the hotel seem very quiet as well. It's a small oasis in Bangkok. Highly recommend.

I thought this hotel is quiet because the location is apart from the downtown area but it was NOT quiet because the hotel is riverside. I heard loud music from the boat every night until late night.

Its an ok older style hotel . Booked stsndard room and a suite. After standard argument re Expedia VIP upgrades they upgraded 1 room supposedly to a river view, well youncould see the river at an angle and the remaining outlook was dreadful. I chose thisnhotel because of VIP and wishbi had stayed at my noal choice of Shang or Banyan Tree.Breakfast was a bun fight but good selection. My last 4 stays at Anantara brand havent been great, and will be giving them miss in futureThere are far better option in BKK that is for sure

The room itself was fine, as were the amenities. The location isn’t the best if you want to explore Bangkok, there is a shuttle boat that runs every half an hour that takes you to the tourist boat stop. We received a warm welcome from the staff. However, we were in room 385 and on our first night the music from a ‘local club’ was unbearably loud, so after a long haul flight we didn’t get to sleep until it had stopped at just gone 3am. The base was so heavy that ear plugs were useless. The walls were also paper thin and so when that stopped we could hear our neighbour arrive late, housekeeping announcing the arrival of their luggage and all the bustling about after. I messaged reception asking to move rooms the following night, and no one came back to us. I have since discovered that this hotel’s neighbouring sister hotel, (Avanti+) has a nightclub on 27th floor where the music that kept us up was coming from! It was thoughtless to put us in that room knowing the club night was on, it would have been understandable if we’d booked a rowdy part of town but this was meant to be a quieter area of the city. Neither of us are light sleepers, so when I say it was bad, it was really bad. Avoid if you’d like a good nights sleep.

Beautiful property, well maintained. We had a riverfront room with an amazing view from the balcony! Some may say bit far from center but free fairy shuttles are running constantly. Big nice pool is clean and well kept . Breakfast buffet one of the best I ve seen in such caliber hotel .

We stayed in the concierge section twice - at the beginning of our trip to Thailand and at the end. Both Pookie & Paris were kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. They are a real asset to the Anantara brand. This was our first time staying at an Anantara resort and they made it fantastic!

My experience was amazing. The staff go over and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. Miu, a friendly staff who checked me in, was one of a kind. The process was smooth and no dramas. Also when checking out, Pepe was super patient with my questions and made sure everything was clear. I highly recommend this place.

Long check in process . The room key did not work and it took them 40 minutes to reprogram it. They did nothing to show some apology for it like most hotels would. A dessert or a free meal for my time wpuld have been nice. The room was okay but there were musquitos flying around , which seems to be a problem many have with this place. Food on premisesbat the restaurants is pretty average and over priced. The brrakfast buffet is great though. The location is a bit of a pain. I rather stay at a resort in Sathorn next time.

We stayed here before and it was an oasis of calm and tranquility. Especially the pool. With the Avani now built next door it’s not so much an oasis as people staying there are able to use the facilities. This means the pool was always ridiculously crowded and it was impossible to find a lounger unless you went around or before 9am. The breakfast buffet was a good as ever in terms of choices but it was very very crowded and the service was not the usual Anantara standard. Plates left piled high on tables full of wasted food and not cleared. The peaceful Friday monks alm giving ceremony has moved to just outside the main breakfast restaurant now and that seems ridiculous - giving Alms to the monks before you are just about to feast in one of the biggest buffets in town. The staff everywhere are fabulous. They are always smiling. The toilets are spotless. The rooms are a great size and spotlessly clean. If Avani guests can use the Anantara pool then I would have liked to be advised the other way around was an option too as the pool there is a rooftop pool even though it’s small - it might have provided a different experience. The shuttle boat is also busier as I guess the Avani guests can use this too. Bonus though is there is an hourly boat to IconSiam which is convenient. All in all we enjoyed our stay but I am not sure I would book here again if I wanted a peaceful stay. I loved the boutique vibe this hotel had but that seems to have gone now.

Eventhough Anantara Riverside looks to be in a bit remote corner of the city the location is excellent as you can get easily anywhere anong the river. Also, the SkyTrain is just 15 mins avway by the boat. It is much easier, nicer and faster to travel by the river than being stuck in a traffic jam. Anantara Riverside and Anantara Siam are both "traditional" hotels and not overly fuzzy and fancy. I would say both are not truly 5 start hotels - rather 4++ but I like it that way. There are severfal restarurants inthe shopping mall combles just behind the hotel (under the Avani + hotel). Also 7-11 is conveniently located next the hotel

It was my first trip to Bangkok and I wanted to stay away from the hustle bustle of the city and so that’s why we chose this place. Boat is very convenient to take you to the other parts of the town, & from there you can take subway or taxi. Breakfast was amazing, and breakfast setting was by the river so you can enjoy the views

The hotel has everything that is needed in a hotel: location, pool, restaurants, bars, comfort and amenities. BUT what makes Anantara different is its people, the service, the happy faces, their willingness to help in every detail and the BIG breakfast buffet with tons of options. Don't hesitate on selecting the breakfast option, you won't regret it. Also their cruise through the river with dinner served in the boat.

Wonderful hotel. The river dinner cruise was exceptional and even though it rained we had a great time on the river. Staff was very attentive and heplful. The bar at the affiliated Annai+ property had amazing views.

Great service, great views, fantastic breakfast! Restaurants at hotel are US prices, but great quality! Good Thai food options nearby! Pool is Great ! Boat takes you to Sathorn pier, where the metro runs or to Icon Siam , a fine high end mall if you’re into that stuff!
