Excellent stay at this hotel. We did select it because of rumors about the breakfast. It was the best experience we had regarding this. All types of breakfast. Half of them freshly cooked based on your choice of ingredients. Staff warm and friendly. Our room, I guess, was a standard room but design, quality, size was top notch. The roof top bar was excellent. I did try out the gym and related facilities as well. Very clean and good equipment. We were able to use it after our checkout and use the very clean and private bathrooms related to the gym and pool area. We did not try the pool but it looked clean and said 27 degrees Celsius. Will book again!

Spaciousness and great design are the hallmark of this hotel. A well equipped 24/7 gym and a nice sizable pool are standouts. Beautiful property, very large, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast, best ever experienced. Gym is good for a hotel. Pool is nice but shaded all day. Great rooftop bar. Only complaint is elevator waits are long. Note that they take a deposit on reservation and if your credit card changes on check in they make you pay the full amount then and then claim they will refund your deposit - still waiting for my refund one week after stay.

The room is excellent. The staff are helpful and always keep good smile to everyone. The roof top bar, Italian restaurant and bar on the floor are perfect. Nice vibe and music are always around. However I wish the swimming pool can extend the service time to midnight as now close at 10pm.

One of the worst check-in experiences I have ever had. The front desk is chaos. We got there at 2.30pm and told the room wouldn’t be ready till 3.30pm. We came back at 4.20, I had to wait for ages to be seen and then told the room was still being cleaned and not available till 5pm. We eventually got to the room and there was no towels or toilet. The next day we had to request the room be cleaned at 4pm as no one had come. This didn’t happen till close to 6pm.

Great hotel with great staff. Certainly a 5 star hotel with the best attributes and amenities. The hotel was so clean and service was impeccable. The added breakfast was so worth it. Food options are incredible. First floor bar is beautiful, patio spaces are nice and the pool area is gorgeous and clean! Will definitely come back

The location is not really convenient coz you need to walk to BTS station about 10 mins, but hotel has shuttle bus offer to Chilom station. The breakfast buffet is very good, a lot of selection. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The bedroom is too small, my room is 1 king bedroom residence with balcony. There is a Sindhorn Village in front of the hotel, so many many restaurants in this mall.

Kimpton Ma Laai was an amazing place to stay at. The rooms and amenities are beautiful with amazing views of the city. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Always available to answer any questions we had. The concierge was really nice and helpful as well. The buffet was amazing, really varied and with a lot of local food options to try! Definitely recommend staying here.

It was my 3rd time staying at Kimpton Maa-Lai. As it always has been, Kimpton Maa-Lai was a perfect place to spend my holiday. Staffs were amazing! Unfortunately I don’t remeber their names but I was happy to see the familiar faces again. They are the best! They do know what they are doning and they are looking forward ti find a better way ti satisfy their customers and they do seem like they are enjoying what they are doing. I don’t need to mention about the location and the facilities, thanks to those brilliant staffs, I really had a pleasant and happy holiday. Thank you so much!

Hotel was oversold, staff were focused on processing guests in and out of the hotel. Didn’t make any effort to personalized guest experience. Even the welcome drinks and cold towel offering looked very robotic. All complimentary Marriott Bon Voyage loyalty benefit such as simple ad high floor and late checkout request were denied. When requesting late check out to 2pm as a Gold member to 2pm, I was offered a 30 mins extension to 12:30pm instead! A gesture which show case the front office team’s lack of capability to maintain personalized experience in an oversold situation and completely lack of sincerity.

Almost perfect hotel. Food at rooftop bar and pool was ok but not great. We had asked for late checkout a month prior to our stay, as our flight left late at night. Unfortunately late checkout was still not possible which was a hassle. Everything else was excellent.

Bar Yard is a top rated roof top bar. Service was ok not exceptional like the service in the other parts of hotel. Food was terrible. American bbq food should never be the menu at a top bar. The taco chips for nachos were stale and the complementary snacks were stale too.

Personalen var perfekt. Frukosten den bästa vi ätit i Bangkok. Rummet va stort, rent och riktigt bra säng. Polområdet riktigt bra med både solsida och skugga och en bra temperatur i vattnet. Enda som fattades va någon typ av tuktuk eller liknande för att köra till BTS skytrain. Var ganska långt att gå och taxibilar vill inte köra vissa tider på dygnet. Blev avundsjuk på grannhotelet som hade gratis lyx tuktuk till till tågstation. Kommer garanterat tillbaka !

I had a case of diarrhea after eating breakfast @The Stockroom. I think it was the carvery ham; I tasted its remnants on my breath afterwards. In my haste, I think I left my reading glasses in the hotel room 2314. I would be great if something can be arranged for its return.
