I like this hotel. The location is good, alot of nice restaurants in the area, and a charming street overall. The lobby is beautiful, great service by the staff, and the bar area is superb. Pool is great, but a little dirty due to birds excrements. The mexican restaurant, with its buffet is delicious!! Gym has been moved from the pool area til the 24th floor. Gym is good, but misses some important equipment, and already now shows lack of maintainance. Silicone lubrication is a must for gym equipment. They should know.. Rooms are average. Matresses and pillows are quite hard. Bathroom is ok. Toilet is a modern thing equipped with automatic bum washer or whatever its called. A normal toilet and a bum gun would been preferrable. Shower head mounted on the wall over the bsth tub and at a height of maybe 160cm, so I cant stand uprised when shower. I know there is renorvation going on at the hotel, and I really hope the renorvation shows good result and better solutions regarding showers and toilets. At the pool area there is a spacious wardrobe including toilets, showers, and best of all, Sauna and Steam Room!! Both working ok, but needs maintainance. Due to renorvation, Roof Top Bar is closed. This hotel has its charm, and could have been a very good choce, but lacks the "finish" that could take them there. Basically its the lack of maintainance and cleaning procedure.

This was our second stay at the Rembrandt. Our room which was on the 12th floor on this occasion was much better with great views (no musty smell than when we had a room on the 7th floor). Swimming pool on the upper floor is excellent also has great views and you can catch a glimpse of the sun sunset. Good poolside bar and Mexican restaurant .

Der Frühstücksraum ist eine Katastrophe! Laut, chaotisch und schmuddelig. Eine Renovation wäre dringend angesagt. Die Roof-Top Bar ist ebenfalls nicht mehr offen. Weil nicht alle Aufzüge funktioniert haben gab es sehr lange Wartezeiten.

Rummet var fullt av kryp och en smutsig heltäcknings matta. Vi fick byta rum till den sk. renoverade våning men badrummet var inte renoverat från svartmögel. För oss som bodde 9:o nätter var det en katastrof. Rembrant har definitivt tappat i kvalitet.

The Servise and staff are amazing and food is good too with beautiful pool and bar BUT The hotel is in run down condition especially the rooms on floor 9 and 16 as I stayed in bitgbfooors , our room bathroom and room mirror had mold and under tv there was a dust storm . Carpets in tge corridor stinks , the entrance is beautiful though but room not .

The hotel needs serious improvement in both hygiene and maintenance. Upon check-in, the room was poorly cleaned — we found hair on the floor and furniture. During breakfast, we noticed cockroaches walking near the food on the buffet table, which is completely unacceptable. The building and rooms are very old, with visible signs of neglect. The shower flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it. Overall, a very disappointing experience that does not justify the price or the four-star rating they claim to have. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel... 2 or 3 at most.

Jeg fik et værelse hvor der var utrolig meget larm fra gaden. Efter 1 nat blev jeg flyttet til et mere stille værelse på21 etage. Etagen bar dog præg af at hotellet var meget slidt, bl.a. hang tapetet på gangene ikke helt fast på væggen flere steder og i det hele taget et slidt hotel. I had to ask for a third bed to accommodate our party. The hotel was quick to supply it, but once it had three beds, the room felt very cramped. I expected a superior room to have more space. I got a cold the day before we left and was stuck watching tv in the room. There were only two English movie channels and one had no sound. Maybe change the cable tv company?

Manager did not reimburse me for early check in. Emails clearly say I can check in early if room is available. I don't like how this situation was not fixed. Communication was incorrect and I was incorrectly charged. They were not willing to fix it... Just offer something for next time

The hotel has a different payment policy from hotels. com. I chose "pay at property" but the hotel insist in charging one night first without informing, and cancelled my booking while charging one night. It took me two days to sort things out. I had to call the hotel several times and listen to their excuses, While they just can't admit that they have done the wrong thing by breaching the agreement. If there is a different policy it needs to be communicated with the guest in advance but unfortunately they chose to cancel my booking without even informing. This is the poorest hotel management i have ever seen. Both the Rembrandt hotel And hotels.com have been really causing trouble but these two parties as partners cannot even get things right among themselves and made the actual guest suffer.

I have stayed at the Rembrandt many times over the last few years. It is a great hotel, good location and the staff are typically very very friendly This particular stay was different than the previous stays. I found the staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful with the exception of the front desk staff. Because I have stayed there so many times before I have always received an upgraded room or other jesters of the hotel appreciation of my and my other friends continued stays there I found the staff (especially a young man at the front seat) especially curt when I explained my previous stays and what I was told previously to tell the front desk upon my arrival. I also ( but to a lesser degree) found several (not all) of the young ladies at the from desk the same. I would only go there and ask for change to leave for the maid staff ( who were by the way extremely nice as usual). I am not trying to complain, but I was asked to complete this review and I believe in a fair and honest answer. The Rembrandt is still a very good choice for stays in Bangkok

Terrible checkin and checkout and I feel unwelcome. Staff totally uninterested and unmotivated. Been here at least 2 dozen times but the service doesn’t change. I come for the price and location. Otherwise, it’s just frustrating. Also, their rooftop bar and restaurant are out of service. Something not indicated at book in.

Very good location. Walk 9 minutes to BTS Asok station and 10 minutes to MRT Sukhumvit station. Shopping mall Terminal 21 next to BTS Asok. Breakfast great variety and price was right. Swimming pool with large area to sit. Fresh towels available. 7-Eleven convenience store open 24 hrs on corner of Sukhumvit Rd to get water, drinks, snacks and daily essentials. Staff very friendly. The hotel is listed at 4 star but even a 3 star is generous for the amenities and room condition. They have been renovating some floors but unfortunately ours was not one of them. When we checked in, it was announced that we were "upgraded"....to the exact same room that I booked. The tub was dirty and stained, wallpaper was also peeling in some places and stained with dirt/grease. The TV was broken in one corner like someone had punched it and getting any decent reception on the channels was troublesome. If you can get a good price <$65 USD per night then definitely the location and the price can't be beat, otherwise I would not stay again. The breakfast buffet is a great deal though @$6! There is bacon, but hidden in the back and you have to ask the omelette chefs for it.

Our experience there was a good one. The hotel staff were great and the room was modern and clean. The breakfast was disappointing with not much on offer, still adequate for a morning feed. The only other downside of staying on a lower floor during the renovation is the very loud construction work going on all day. I would definitely stay again one the renovation works finish.

We were recommended this hotel by a few travel agents, we have stayed in Bangkok before so was expecting similar to last time. The hotel looks lovely from the outside and is in a great location really close to the askok bts. Lovely staff always very welcoming. The lobby was lovely, there was building work ongoing in the hotel which I had no prior warning off. So from 8.15am each morning there was drilling and banging which meant we wouldn't get any lie in if we wanted to. The rooms were a big of a mixed bag. For the price I thought it was fine but there were a lot of scruffy DIY like the wallpaper was dirty and had damp peeling off the bottom of the walls. The bath and around the finishings was very shoddy. But for the price it was clean and a good size. People on our floor loved to slam doors at all hours of the night but that isn't the hotels fault. The pool was great and the pool staff were lovely. Probably would spend a little more money on something a bit better standard room but if you want good value for money then this hotel is fine.
