The room we got had air conditioning set at 19-20 which was cold. TV’s also not working and lifts broke down whilst we were there. Most of first day had to wait to get fixed. Eventually got a new room, which was ok. Again, had to inform them that we were 2 adults and 2 kids so had to wait for them to make up beds for kids. Got fixed eventually, but very slow so missed much of first holiday-day which was annoying.

right in center of shopping malls. The best to travel by sky train. Hotel is quite old and needs to get renovated asap… parking lot is very stiff and scary and so dusty.. no elevator to the lobby. Breakfast is not so special, not so variety:)

The hotel was very run down and in poor condition. This was the first time I have ever seen a hotel selling condoms as part of their mini bar. I didn’t want to have to explain that to my children just yet, thanks Novotel. The tiles are the pool were the slipperiest I have ever encountered, my 5 year old daughter took a nasty tumble. This hotel is worse than a $50 a night motel. Don’t be fooled by the fancy lobby, book elsewhere !

The hotel is next to 4 major malls all within 10 minutes walk, I really enjoyed walking on the sky bridge which is a 2 minute walk. The room was nice and facilities of the hotel are great, there's a nice gym and pool as will as a good restaurant but dining options are endless in the area, overall it is a good place to stay if you're thinking of doing some shopping

Location wise, this place is hard to beat. 2 mins by foot and you're right in the city centre with a BTS station that will take you most places. The breakfast spread is honestly a miss for me. Freshly cooked eggs your way was the saving grace. The rest of the selection not so much. In a city like bangkok you're bound to get better breakfast elsewhere for less. Didn't use much of the facilities but the gym was great. Machines looked new and equipment looks fresh so that was awesome. The hotel is old and the lobby/lift area had a weird smell. But otherwise, the pros outweigh the cons for this one.

Two elevators were not working. You had to Waits a long time. Bad Wi-Fi, you were disconected constantly. They upgaraded us, but the room had à LOT of mould even tough it was renovated. We used to stay here all the time before covid, but now there are some better options, but the location is great.

Novotel is well situated in Siam Square, a sort of Times Square of Bangkok. There's a bewildering array of shopping and eating options nearby. The challenge becomes deciding between so many options. Though the facility and rooms are clean, there was a very strong smell of garbage coming in from the outside of the building that filled the lobby and elevator shafts. Ultimately, I liked this option for its value and convenience (it's a great location to hit a lot of sights if you have a short layover), but they need to do something about that smell.

We had a great 3 days. The location is wonderful. My only complaint is that the hotel is listed as having an airport shuttle. It does not. It can arrange transport but that isnt the same.

I was terribly disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. When I entered the room, there were at least 3 cockroaches running around. When the front desk changed the room, it was apparently occupied by someone else. In the end, I had to have my room changed another time. And when I ordered room service, the fries were served on a chipped plate. This is unfortunately so dangerous.

There was mould in the bathroom. When I was checking in, it was impossible to pay the room deposit with a debit card (any debit card), and I didn’t have cash at the time. The best solution the manager could come up with was to send someone to the room to completely remove the minibar and I also couldn't use any room service

The hotel was at a very very convenient location. Lots to shop and eat. A little disappointed though; with the hotel shower area as not very clean and some wear and tear seen. And also the the room and walk way of the rooms level were not very sound proofing; hope this can be improved. (As quite disrupting when resting, other hotel guests were shouting and kids running and shouting as well along the hall way). Last but not least, real Kudos to the staffs there, they were all very very friendly and approachable and helpful as well~

The hotel facilities were somewhat rundown. The room was not clean with dusty floor. Wished the sound insulation was better too. The opening and closing of doors along the corridor could be heard clearly and it can be quite disturbing when you are trying to rest.

Great location, close to several shopping malls. Many massage parlours just downstairs. Service was excellent. However maintenance not done well, bedsheets and towels had some stains, also stains on the desk. Shower area had some mould on the ceiling.

Used to visit very often pre-covid and this is my first trip back after covid but I realised the cleanliness standard has fallen by a lot! I killed 4 roaches there during my stay. They should hire a pest control to look into this.

Location is great, so close to the subway, restaurants. The hotel itself got great facilities such as gym, pool, spa. The room is spacious. Sockets are universal so don’t even need to use plug adapters. WiFi is strong, no connection issues when conducting online meetings. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only problem I have is the sound proof is not the greatest, so if anyone is a light sleeper like myself, then ear plugs would be strongly recommended. The early morning vacuum noise, roadworks, people slamming doors in the middle of the night etc., which caused some disturbances for my stay.

Pros- bed, strong water pressure, location. The hotel is old but turnover is high. Cons - walls and floors are thin. Could hear all the other guests in hallway going in and out. The room i was in needs a refresh. Try and get the newer refurbished rooms but you need to pay more. Hairdryer is difficult to use.

Booked the suite but felt alittle empty. They could get a refresh on it. I saw my friend’s basic room, it looks better. Some part feels of the hotel feels abit old but the price is fair. Overall I think the location is great! I would book again for convenient sake. It’s really close to the train station as well.

We have stayed at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square in our last 3 trips to Bangkok and we love its location. The hotel is however getting super old, the sockets barely hold a plug, in fact the TV wouldn’t turn on because the socket it was on suddenly became busted. The breakfast buffet also has not changed. Bacon still is paper thin and tastes. The noodles station is still great but the hotel really needs to update the menu. Rooms is getting very old, paint on the bathroom walls were cracked and bathroom door does not close properly anymore. Hotel appears full and well patronized but it appears that owners are not investing in the upkeep of the hotel. Sad. We are rethinking about booking at the hotel again.

1. Hotel need renovation 2. Water (shower) supply/pressure was weak 3. Bathroom socket was dusty 4. Housekeeping service was not consistent, no big towel in the first day, no small towel in the 2nd and 3rd day 5. Sound proofing was very bad which made me not sleeping well 6. When people closing their door, it made vibration of my door, it's very annoying specifically in late night. 7. Excellent location 8. Buffet breakfast was good with a lot of varieties

The location is absolutely perfect but the interior does not match the modern and fresh feeling you get from new hotel. We staid in 5th floor and the corridors were a weird mix of new high quality, like doors, and old like reddish more worn our floors not matching the oak style doors, and occasional pillars in yellow tile reminding of 70s colors. Club room was ground floor and not particularly fancy compared to competition. Service was though absolutely great. One of the friendliest and customer oriented people ever met, from cleaning lady to reception desk. Was pleasure to meet them every time <3 I see there must be a very good collegial atmospherein the hotel.

The hotel is right down the heart of Siam Square (located by Siam Square/center point) , you can walk to MBK, Siam paragon, Siam Discovery mall. etc. also near by BTS Siam station. Super convenient and tons of foods and shopping. It’s near Chulakongkorn Uni, so imagine tons of collages kids walking around and it’s there hang out area. It’s cool though like Shibuya in Japan. The hotel itself it’s nice, meet the standard with nice amenities and accommodations (gym, pools, restaurants) great staffs and wonderful customer service. The downside is - again you are right at the HEART of Siam square, there will be a lot of events and concerts down the street. Three out of four nights we stayed there, there were concerts until 10-11 pm. So if you need peace and quiet this is not the place for you. But if you want to experience Bangkok’s city vibes (the clean version) try Novotel Siam Square.

An average hotel in a great location. The check in process was ok, but then the bags did not show up for a while so had to go down and chase the valet. I got locked out once and they would not issue a new key card, but asked me to wait outside my room till someone showed up to let me in - I had to wait about 15 mins before someone came. The property is relatively new and area around is very nice - close to all the major malls. The area is very vibrant. The breakfast buffet was decent. Nothing bad or too good. Service was good there and staff was friendly. The rooms were pretty unremarkable - reminded me of a newer budget motel in the US - clean and minimal. The bathroom did not close - there was not latch or knob. I had our 7 year old in the room (which we paid for)- they gave us a sofa bed, but it had stains on it and we decided to cover it with sheets and make him sleep with us. Overall, it’s an ok hotel. The location is great and staff is courteous. However, I would not stay here again, as I did not see the value for money.

I’ve been staying here for many years but the guest services have been declining. They did not bother to follow up or help with the booking request that was made way in advance. Even the response to my request was brief without any email etiquette to a loyal guest. It’s extremely disappointing.

The first room I stayed in had an issue with the shower head, which was leaking. However, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They promptly changed my room and even sent a fruit platter as an apology. I must compliment them because their service recovery was exceptional.

the staffs were very friendly, polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is also very near to the BTS which is a huge plus point, and you can travel easily to the hotel via BTS even if you have many luggages as it is only about a 5 mins walk or less from Siam BTS to the hotel. The hotel is also very near (literally just across the road)to the shopping areas like Siam Square, Siam Paragon, Siam Square 1 just to name a few. Even if you want to go to Central world or Big C, there is a huge sheltered skybridge and is only about a 15 to 20 mins walk depending on your own speed. You will literally feel that you are staying in the shopping area, very convenient. Will definitely choose to stay here again my next trip.

Have always stayed here due to the location right in the heart of Siam Square. Everything else is within walking distance like Paragon and MBK. However, do note that because it’s in the heart of Siam Square, getting in and out by car or private hire will take a bit of time.

This hotel is inside the Siam Square. It is walking distance to the MRT mass system, and next to Siam Paragon for shopping and wonderful food court. The skywalk is right there and you can anywhere using the skywalk to many shopping malls along the way.

This hotel was perfect for our family (kids aged 3 and 8) as it was well connected to the BTS and shopping centres. The breakfast was actually fantastic and their dinner buffet was great too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the hotel is showing its age and can do with a bit of a refresh. Howver, we will definitely not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

The Novotel is a fantastic hotel option with an ideal location, just a two-minute walk from the Siam BTS station and within close proximity to both Siam Square and Siam Paragon malls. The hotel boasts modern amenities including a pool, on-site spa, and international breakfast buffet. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great view of the city. This was my second stay at the Novotel and during high season, my preferred app had an unusually high rate. However, Mr. Fizz at the front desk was extremely patient and went above and beyond to find me the best deal, even bringing in the manager, Mr. Potae, who was kind and helpful in securing a great rate for me. I was also impressed with the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of options, and the dinner buffet was equally delicious. Additionally, there are plenty of cafes, Starbucks, and restaurants of all cuisines just a five-minute walk away. I highly recommend the Novotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Bangkok. Thumbs up for all their staff! Friendly, helpful, and always there to greet us with their great smiles! Place is conveniently located just opp Siam Paragon, with BTS station that makes it easier to travel. Only one point I hope to see improvement is to have more variety of food for morning breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights at Novotel, Siam Square and it was a great hotel in a great location in the middle of the city square close to train and shopping. Hotel room was modern and clean and nice pool area. Pool area chairs, for dining at the tool were really poor so you would take a sunbed instead and not really wanted to sit and eat. The breakfast was great but the temperature in the room was terrible - so cold that you hot food and coffee turned into ice before you had time to enjoy it - so dress up with the big coat for breakfast. All in all - a great stay when you know the small tips and tricks.

Hotel staff is excellent. The room is mediocre. Breakfast is okay. Weekend seafood buffet is excellent. Room service sucks. They forgot one item ordered, followed up twice but it never came with no explanations or acknowledgement.
