NH Berlin Alexanderplatz

The restaurant isn’t any comfone Rather large and a waiting room feeling.The rooms are quiet nice and comfortable. Breakfast good to very good. Dinner a bit overpriced, but not bad. Had no chance to try their pub bar as I didn't receive any attention from their staff there. Tram is inconvenient, as in each direction too far to walk, especially with luggage. Would I stay there again? No.

Lovely hotel, convenient for exploring Berlin. Great underground parking. Used the sauna which was lovely, very clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful

Good hotel with private parking for 15€/day. Clean hotel and good service, did not eat the brekfast because it was expensive

Excellent hotel. Very well presented, clean and well maintained. Modern and very comfortable bedroom. Comprehensive choice of food at breakfast. Nothing to criticise the hotel in itself. However, location is a tram ride or 30 minute walk uphill out of town. Additionally, our 4 day stay was blighted on two occasions by false activation of the fire alarm - the second being at 00:30hrs whilst we were asleep in bed.

The room and the hotel were very nice inside. Staff was nice. Unfortunately on our first night, the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate very early I. The morning, I know it’s no fault of the staff, but it wasn’t a very nice experience. Other than that, room was clean and updated. Lobby was nice. Not too much around the hotel though in regards to shopping via walking, though there is bus and train nearby.

Leider ging bei uns alles schief. Konnte nicht gut schlafen, da das Hotel extrem lichtdurchlässige Vorhänge hatte und es dadurch sehr hell war. Direkt neben unserem Fenster war eine Baustelle und wir hatten Baustellenlärm. Die Bettdecke hatte leider ein Loch. Ansonsten waren die Zimmer aber schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt recht zentral. Leider gab es am Samstag einen Feueralarm. Dieser lief ziemlich unkoordiniert ab.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr guter Ausstattung! Wir wurden von den Mitarbeitern freundlich empfangen und wir konnten schon eher ins Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist schön groß, modern ausgestattet und ruhig. Gut gefallen hat uns außerdem der kleine Saunabereich. Wir waren also insgesamt sehr zufrieden und haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

This hotel is not only in an optimal location, but it's rather convenient to get there, no issues finding it on our own. The service was outstanding, everyone at the hotel had a big smile, and were really helpful. The room was way bigger than any other similar hotels we've stayed at and the pillows were perfect, which are usually hit or miss. Honorable mention to the sound proofing, we didn't hear a thing coming from any other room, even having lots of people on our floor. I recommend paying a visit to the bar, the bartender is the most kind and prepares delicious cocktails! The hotel even has its own app to order room service, extra toiletries etc. I can't think of anything bad to say about the hotel, it was truly a great stay.

Personal sehr nett, Sauna und Fitness Bereich ist bis 23 Uhr geöffnet, kann aber noch länger genutzt werden

E' accettabile che in un hotel 4 stelle la camera venga riordinata e pulita ogni 4 notti, salvo specifica richiesta dell'ospite?? Magari lo avrei potuto accettare, peccato che non sia stato informato al momento del check-in quindi pensavo di trovarla rifatta il giorno seguente, come in ogni altro hotel. E' anche una ovvia questione di igiene. E non mi è stato neanche dato il voucher per il drink che mi spettava in caso di rinuncia alla pulizia giornaliera

Die Dusche war sehr dreckig

Cleaning had to be ordered otherwise no cleaning in the room every day. Shampoo, soap etc. also had to be reminded that the containers were absolutely emptied when we arrived.

It’s a very pleasant hotel but there is not much in the immediate locality apart from a Lidl about 200 yds. A little more attention to detail would have made the stay better. More than 1 tea bag, having to remind them to make up the room on one morning. We were there the weekend of the Berlin marathon so it was full however I had specifically asked for a twin which intones said they didn’t have. Expedia had passed on the request with the booking but no one had looked until the day apparently. It eventually got sorted

My initial experience was good but went downhill couple day into my stay. Berlin temperatures were 30-32 when we were there and the aircon was a joke and hardly worked in the night. When I enquired the hotel said it's not a real aircon and the airflow is reduced in the night to consume less energy. I asked if they can provide a fan and they said open the windows. My room was road facing and there is constant traffic noise, it was such a poor suggestion. A day into our stay we saw ants everywhere in my room, I let it be thinking it is summer and generally it happens in UK as well. My biggest issue was on the day we were checking out hotwater supply was cut off and there was no information provided to any of us, we were no informed during checkin, no email sent or leaflet slipped into my room. When I enquired with reception they said a notice has been put up in the elevators. I went looking for it and it was stuck to the end of the elevator in such tiny fonts and not visible to anyone if the elevator is full. In my case whenever I used the elevator was generally packed as I was in the 6th floor. I asked for refund or partial refund of 1 days room rent as we had to have ice cold bath and use the kettle to heat up some water. Staff had 0 empathy towards the customers and said she will talk to her manager and get back to me about the refund. It's been 5 days and there's been no response from them. I am going to escalate this with my credit card provider.

Det lå godt fra centrum og der var mulighed for at spise ud i nærheden, vi var ikke så glad for rengøring da vi ikke fik skiftet sengetøj hele ugen vi var der. Ellers var de venlige, men kunne godt informere alt der er vigtig for opholdet første dag.

One of the dirtiest hotel rooms I‘ve seen.

Das Hotel an sich war sehr schön. Nur das Problem, was mir aufgefallen ist, war, dass unser Hotelzimmer nicht sauber war.

The room was very nice, very very clean, roomy, quiet & awesome airco that really wasn't loud at all and did keep my room cool during my stay in the heat. Everything was nice and the free drink per non-cleaned day because of the environment was cool. The only thing I was not so happy about was the fact that only one staffmember of the six I've spoken to was happy to talk to me. All others were very apprehensive and seemed to look at me as if I didn't belong there. I asked for an umbrella at another location (Kurfurstendamm) and there they were so much more friendly and happy to help.

Alles so weiter in Ordung nur das Zimmer war ein wenig altbacken und renovierungsbedürftig. Besonders das Bad.

Die Premium Zimmer sind sehr groß und geräumig. tolles Bad mit großer Dusche und das Zimmer war zum Innenhof hin ausgerichtet, so dass es sehr ruhig war. Auch haben die Vorhänge das Sonnenlicht richtig abgehalten, so dass wir gut ein bißchen länger schlafen konnten. Dass der CheckOut am Sonntag erst um 12Uhr erfolgen muss, ist auch klasse.

A 30 minutes d Alexanderplatz, je me demande pourquoi il s appelle NH Alexanderplatz. Dans une zone d habitation rien autour vous êtes isolé. Il faut marcher dans des zones pas très jolies. La chambre est correctement isolé (double porte ) mais malgré cela on attend les bruits dans le couloir surtout les fermetures des portes. Bon Matelat. Check in efficace bien que l hôtesse n était pas très souriante. Je choisirai la prochaine fois un autre hôtel vraiment proche d Alexander platz.

The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was pleasant and large. Excellent value.

Ankom tidligere end check-in og fik muligheden for at få værelset uden ekstra omkostninger. Værelset var stort, pænt og rent. Der er elkoger, nespresso maskine, glas, gratis vand, og køleskab. Hvis man vælger ikke at få sit værelse rengjort, får man en drikkevarer i baren. Bruseren var rigtig god med rigtig godt tryk og varme. Sengen var en smule hård men ellers god. Vi valgte ikke morgenmad fordi vi bare skulle have kaffe om morgenen.

Etter sjekk inn, så var det litt skummelt at en arbeider brukte kort og kom inn i rommet mens jeg var inne. Han banket på, men åpnet døren etter 15 sekunder. Så sto han der med drillmaskinen.

La chambre était nickel et le personnel a l’accueil était très agréable. Néanmoins, le personnel du restaurant n’était pas agréable et souriant. Je ne comprends également pas le principe d’une salade Ceasar sans poulet…

The NH was an excellent place to stay for the World University Games swimming meet. It was a quick tram ride to the stop close to the pool. It was very walkable when the weather was nice. Staff was friendly as well.

We stayed here because my husband was participating in the Berlin Marathon. NH Alexander Platz has the perfect location outside the Downtown area. However, transportation was a few steps away, from the train/metro stations to the busses. Uber or taxis are also very common and safe. We had a wonderful view from our bedroom of the famous TV station. Their breakfast buffet was the perfect wellness buffet that we have had in a while. All personal are very friendly.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstrücksbuffet und auch Möglichkeit im Voraus einzuchecken und sich sein Zimmer aussuchen zu können, waren tolle Aspekte. Auch die fußläufige Nähe zur Straßenbahnhaltestelle war sehr angenehm.

Nettes Hotel, Ich war beruflich nur eine Nacht da. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel direkt vor der Tür, deswegen sehr gut angebunden.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sehr sauber & sicher. Die Tram Haltestelle ist nur ca. 4 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und man hat sehr gute Anbindungen!

Nära spårvagn och buss. Bra frukost. Stora rum men hårda sängar. Extra plus för godiset i lobbyn!

Quite far away from the sites and the City Centre. Restaurant very limited and very expensive. Loved the complementary sweets. Complimentary water and perhaps a bag of crisps would be a bonus. Other NH Hotels have a better food selection e.g. Plaza de Armas in Sevilla which is excellent. One question, is this just in Germany but why are the beds not made. I have had similar experiences in other German hotels. I am sure that there will be a good reason for this, I am sure, would love to know though.

The property was very clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were exemplary and very helpful. An overall excellent stay. My only small criticisms were that the room was a little too hot the first couple of nights(though this became fine after that) the fitness centre was fine but there could be more specific explanation aboutwhat it included, restaurant food was quite expensive and it was not clear that there was no bathtub in the room.

Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Rooms were a good size and clean. Nice reward policy - drink for each guest, for each day you choose not to have your room cleaned. 🤗
