Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und ordentlich. Vor allem das Licht ist gemütlich. Leider ist das Internet sehr schlecht. Intercity verfügt nicht über ein System, das die Verbindung gewährleistet. Das ist zum Arbeiten oder für Handygebrauch zu schwach respektive unzuverlässig. Die Knöpfe beim Lift sind seit meinem letztem Aufenthalt hier (vor ein paar Monaten) noch nicht repariert worden. First of all wanted to clarify that expectations of a chain property was not there. Staff and rooms were as good as expected. However, bar was closed which was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel and was not marked so. Apart from that wifi was terrible and barely working. I'm very glad I was not coming to work from hotel. Overall good but clearly very different experience from Intercity to another Intercity hotel.

The location, inside the Ostbahnhof, is the best thing about this hotel: easy to get around Berlin and close walking distance to Berghain if you're going to be dancing. Rooms are simple and efficient. There is no climate control in the rooms so if it's hot out it may be uncomfortable; I slept with the window open. For extra quiet, I'd recommend asking for a room facing the inner courtyard. There aren't really any amenities or common areas to enjoy in the hotel. There are two supermarkets and plenty of food options in the train station. Rooms have refrigerators and electric kettles.

Das Hotel war Ok. Freundliche Mitarbeiter und Sauber. Schlicht. Ideal für Veranstaltungen in der Mercedes Benz Arena, bei der man nach 10min Fußweg ist. Einen Parkplatz im gesonderten Bereich haben wir nicht erhalten, war voll. Hätte für die Nacht 12€ gekostet. Wir standen im öffentlichen Bereich und haben nur 8€ bezahlt. Um das Hotel ist viel Trubel, da ein großer Teil der Berliner Mauer schräg gegenüber des Hotels liegt, was viele Touristen anzieht. Im unteren Parkdeck ist es gruselig. Starker Uringeruch. Kosten/Leistung ist uns zu hoch gewesen. Frühstück und Parken kostet extra.

Wie alles was mit der Bahn Ag zu tun hat: unprofessionell, nicht auf dem Stand der Zeit und viel zu teuer für das Gebotene. Zimmer lieblos, Bett unbequem, gesamte Ausstattung nicht zeitgemäß. Parkplatz überteuert, Frühstück mit Augenmerk auf billige Lebensmittel, phantasielos, Service unterhält sich lieber in der Küche anstatt sich um Kunden zu bemühen. Gesamtes Ambiente schmuddelig. Rezeption weigert sich eine Rechnung zu schreiben, erst der Hinweis auf deutsche Rechtsprechung macht das möglich. Der vietnamesische Zimmerservixe war der einzig wirklich freundliche Mitarbeiter. Dagegen war Mitropa Spitzenklasse und die war nicht besonders…. . Fazit: Garantiert nicht wieder. Es ist wie bei der Bahn AG : Die Schließung/ Auflösung hätte nur positive Effekte. Außer für die paar desinteressierten Mitarbeiter……

Das Intercity Hotel punktet vor allem mit seiner super Lage direkt am Ostbahnhof – perfekt, um Berlin mit dem ÖV zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind zwar eher klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut ausreichend. Besonders positiv: Wir konnten unser Gepäck schon vor dem Check-in abgeben, es wurde sicher verwahrt. Praktisch war auch der kleine Kühlschrank im Zimmer, auch wenn er in unserem Fall leider nicht richtig funktionierte. Ob eine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, wissen wir nicht – es stand aber ein Ventilator bereit. Trotz der Nähe zum Bahnhof war das Zimmer angenehm ruhig. Die Umgebung rund um den Bahnhof ist zwar etwas heruntergekommen und es halten sich viele Obdachlose und Alkoholiker auf – ein typisches Bild in Bahnhofsgegenden. Trotzdem haben wir uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt. Dank der sehr guten Anbindung ist man schnell an allen wichtigen Orten wie Alexanderplatz, Hauptbahnhof oder Charlottenburg. Insgesamt ein solides Hotel für einen kurzen Berlin-Aufenthalt mit guter Verkehrsanbindung.

Nice and clean staff was good rooms clean showers and toilets are clean . Just carpet was old and little bit smelly(not really bed)Very good location near everywhere. and 2 big supermarket located just same building and shopping center and parking just opposite hotel ,cheaper than they mentioned on explanation says £15 but i have parked 11:30 am i took next day morning just charge €8 and you can see your car from the window . Not very quality overall but more quality than priced. Recommended.

Great location, in the same building as the train station. The hotel is very simple. Installations feel old and in need of renovation. The beds, on the other hand, was very comfortable. The lack of air conditioning was a downer in the hot days during my stay. It’s a walking distance from Berghain, which I guess is a plus :)

Obwohl vorgebucht und bezahlt dauerte der Check-In gefühlt unheimlich lang. Bis die Dame am Empfang die Tourismus Gebühr verrechnet hat und zur Zahlung freigegeben hat, verging unnötig viel Zeit. Dass ich hier als Mitglied vom H Rewards die ÖV Karte nicht erhielt erstaunt mich sehr - da ich nicht direkt via Hotelseite gebucht hätte. Im Intercity Berlin Hbf war das nie ein Thema. Ich habe die Mitgliedschaft dort aus diesem Grund abgeschlossen, da ich nur Mitglied sein müsse, nicht zwingend bei ihnen direkt buchen muss. Zimmer i.O. Aber sehr warm, so dass man Fenster in der Nacht offen lassen muss und dann ist es lärmig.

We did online check in before we arrived as we knew it would be late. However that didn’t save anytime at all but the again the man on reception was not helpful or friendly at all. If my wife answered a question he ignored her and would only accept if from myself. We have used Intercity hotels before due to always receiving a travel card when paying your city tax, however he said they were no longer available due to new owners. Half an hour later he phoned our room to say on this occasion they would honour it! We stayed again later in the week and a different person on check in, she said we got the travel card if we were H rewards members! Not the best Intercity hotel but location was convenient. Breakfast was average.

The young woman at the front desk was rude from the moment of checking in and that experience did not improve. The Internet access was so slow it would take several minutes for one web page to load. Definitely not a place to come if you are on business. The room however was clean and nicely furnished.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof, was einerseits sehr praktisch ist, aber auch bedeutet, dass es bei offenem Fenster ziemlich laut sein kann. In der Umgebung sind viele Obdachlose unterwegs, und stellenweise kann es unangenehm riechen. Das Hotel selbst ist jedoch wirklich schön – schlicht und einfach eingerichtet, aber absolut ausreichend, wenn man keine allzu hohen Ansprüche hat. Besonders positiv war das freundliche Personal und der Aufzug, der immer schnell da warWas wirklich ärgerlich ist: Die Zimmer lassen sich nicht stornieren. Im Falle einer Absage bekommt man so gut wie kein Geld zurück – in meinem Fall wären es gerade mal 16 € von der Gesamtsumme und diese betrug ca 200€ +-. Das finde ich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich frech, vor allem heutzutage, wo flexible Buchungen fast überall Standard sind. Schade, denn sonst war alles wirklich okay – aber bei der Buchung sollte man definitiv darauf achten.

Very convenient with food, supermarket, and transportation easily accessible from the hotel. The staff were helpful and gave us guidance with using the local transit. Rooms were on the smaller side but adequate for the stay. Being in the same building as the train station, there are a lot of homeless people outside by the station. So just be vigilant when outside, but near the hotel and inside the hotel, it’s all good especially since you need your keys to enter at night.

Rummen var ganska stora, men vi fick tyvärr vattenläcka i badrummet och fick därför byta rum. Dock hanterade personalen detta mycket bra och vi blev kompenserade på ett ok sätt. Deras bemötande var överlag bra och proffsigt. Sängarna var lite hårda (bäddmadrasser saknas), men det var rent och snyggt på rummen. Inga störande ljud trots läget ovanpå tågstationen. Knäpptyst. Frukosten är dock inte värd priset (19 Euro) då utbudet och innehållet i buffén inte håller så pass hög klass som priset kanske utlovar. Men det finns gott om andra frukost-alternativ inne i Ostbahnhof. Genom att vi var/blev medlemmar i deras kedjas förmånsklubb fick vi gratis pendlar-kort för Berlin, vilket också var en starkt bidragande orsak till val av hotell. Detta gjorde vi upp via mail i förväg. Hotellets läge är väl den stora vinsten. Samma hus som Ostbahnhof betyder ju att kommunikationerna är endast 4-5 minuters promenad bort. Endast två stationer därifrån ligger Alexanderplatz och man är mitt i centrum. Då Ostbahnhof ligger vid en av huvudlinjerna, kan du nå ända bort till Zoologischer Garten/ Kurfürstendamm utan att byta tåg. Praktiskt. Pendlarkortet gjorde också att vi kunde åka gratis S-bahn till flygplatsen på avresedagen. Mycket praktiskt.

Der Hotelaufenthalt war angenehm. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer schon etwas älter aber sauber. Das Frühstück war gut. Der Ostbahnhof ist recht nah am Zentrum und persönlich finde ich es als Bahnreisender sehr gut, dass die Intercity Hotels direkt beim Bahnhof sind.
