Rummet var varmt och det gick inte att sänka temperaturen. Frukosten var medelmåttig som bäst men sämst var det underdimensionerande frukostmatsalen. Trångt och folk fick stå länge i kö. Första morgonen fick vi gå till ett hotell jämte för att få frukost pga mängden gäster. Parkeringen under hotellet var begränsad och vi fick ställa oss en bit bort när vi anlände. Oooootroligt sega hissar på hotellet. Ett skämt.

A great hotel for our long-weekend break in Berlin. The hotel is within walking distance of many key sites, or the metro is just across the road. Hotel was very nice, lovely snack and bar area (no food served in the evening), but the breakfast (at 22 euros per day) seemed very expensive by comparison to what you could get from a local bakery or café, so we passed on this. A small gym is available and the surround neighbourhood felt very safe if you were considering a local run in the city. Our only niggly issues were that our room was booked for three people and all amenities were set up and provided for two (chairs, mugs etc.) and we had an issue on one day with our room not being serviced, but the reception team sorted this issue. We would recommend for a stay in Berlin :)

The location is perfect! Was a bit concerned with the chaotic and very much under construction lobby. Wish that had been mentioned when booking. The room was fine, not sure the Modular bathroom is working out. They had us go to the hotel next door for breakfast but then there was some snafu and they were rather rude.

After the quick & easy check-in procedure, the rest of our time at the "Novotel Suites" was shambolic! After we parked our car in the underground carpark, we unloaded our bags, and then tried to squeeze passed all the unattended laundry trolleys in the walkway near the basement elevators. Then, when one of the hotel's 2 elevators had finally arrived, we had to squeeze into it along with a hotel staff member and their laundry trolley. We arrived onto our floor and then began weaving our way along the, you guessed it, unattended laundry trolley laden corridor to our room. Finally we arrived into our room and discovered that the fish-eye lens used for the hotel’s room photos must have been of high quality, because our room prepared for 3 adults was TINY! And the so-called "kitchenette”, consisted of a small microwave oven (just big enough to warm up something the size of a grapefruit), a tiny sink that was too small to fill the provided leaking kettle safely, and 3 cups—that's it—no spoons, coffee or tea. Oh, I forgot—there was one 300ml bottle of water in the bar fridge for the 3 of us. For our 5 overpriced €185p/night stay, we battled: through laundry trolley laden corridors; for the elevators; with the over-crowded foyer; and trying to sleep on the incredibly uncomfortable beds and pillows. The only positives to warrant the 2-Star rating was the check-in process and the fact the roof didn’t leak. I can only recommend this hotel to those who like to be inconvenienced.

The hotel is very well situated close to public transport links and some tourist attractions. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the room was plenty big enough for our needs. Down side to this hotel is that when travelling with someone with mobility issues who cannot use the stairs with ease, there were only 2 lifts, and 1 was permanently out of order. We were on the 1st floor and when calling the lift to go down to the ground, it would skip the 1st floor entirely and go to every other floor first before coming back to the 1st which meant it was usually then full of other customers. The lift itself was also quite slow and we often spent 5/10 minutes waiting for the lift. On our final day the 2nd lift also broke down… This is just not good enough. Another downside was that the hotel staff were not very friendly for a customer facing environment, we saw a couple different people on the reception desks, none really willing to engage in a conversation or just a simple hello and a smile. The same goes for the housekeeping staff who we saw on the corridors.

Positiv: Nettes Personal, geräumige Zimmer. Top Lage und sauber. Negativ: der Fahrstuhl und der Frühstücksbereich sind nicht für knapp 800 Gäste ausgelegt Am Fahrstuhl warte man gut und gerne mal 5-10 min Zwischen 8.00 und 10.00 Uhr stehen immer 15. bis 40 Leute an und warten auf eine Tisch beim Frühstück. Das dauert gut und gerne mal 30 min. So beginnt man den Tag nicht gerne. Immerhin kann man ins Ibis rüber gehen (wenn dort nicht auch alles voll ist), dort ist mehr Platz. Die Badezimmer (Toilette und Dusche mit Badewannen) bestehen aus einer Einheit aus Kunstoff. Vorteil ist das man es super reinigen kann. Nachteil ist das ein laut knarrt bei jeder Bewegung. Stört nachts extrem den Rest der Familie.

Totalen lander absolutt på pluss. Strålende beliggenhet, enkelt m transport men ikke så travelt som i Mitte. Veldig god standard på rommet, hyggelig personal. Bodde 4 netter m familie på 4 så vi fikk med oss en del. Frokostmatsal og heiser veldig underdimensjonert. 2 heiser til 7 etasjer m totalt bortimot 300 rom. Frokostmatsal med mindre enn 100 sitteplasser. Kø mest hele tiden på tross for god innsats fra personalet. God Frokost når vi kom frem. Blir det Novotel neste gang? Fullt mulig, veldig prisvært hotell, med høy standard på rommet. Og flott eget parkeringshus.

Generelt veldig fornøyd. Innsjekkingen var enkel, selvom vi kom litt før innsjekkingstiden. Vi fikk legge fra oss bagasjen i et bagasjerom, før vi hentet den igjen når vi sjekket inn til riktig tid. Rommet var generelt bra. Stort, sofa, spisebord og mikrokjøkken. Det som trekker rommet ned var badet og at det ikke var noen engelske kanaler på tv-en. Badet virket som det var fra en bobil. Blankt, hvitt og av plast, med litt laminatgulv noen steder. Men fullt funksjonibelt! Rengjøringen var bra, men si gjerne ifra om du er allergisk mot støv, da dette fortsatt var mulig å finne i vegg-til-vegg teppet som dekket hele rommet. Prisen var veldig gunstig, om du ikke bestilte hotellfrokost. Enkelt å finne seg en café eller tilsvarende å spise frokost på, eventuelt handle dagligvarer og spise frokost på rommet for å gjøre det enda mer økonomisk. 7/10

The cleaning was very poor. We first received a dirty room with hair all over the bathroom and bed. The replacement room also had some hair and dust on surfaces, and cups were dirty. Bedbugs! After a 6 day stay at Novotel Suites Berlin City Potsdamer Platz, my wife and I were covered with bed bug bites. We found bed bugs in our suitcase when we got home. I contacted the hotel who then told me customer relations would contact me the following Monday when they returned to work. 4 Weeks have gone by with no contact and 4 follow up emails from me were ignored. One top of the cost of the stay that resulted in our home being infested we have incurred additional costs insuring our home doesn’t become infested with these disgusting insects. A fun getaway turned into an expensive nightmare.

The facilities were modern and well maintained. The location was great and parking was not a problem. The only issue we had with our room was that the toilet, even though (or better fortunately) separated from the shower and bathtub, smelled like urine.

I stayed here recently and was extremely disappointed. The room wasn’t properly cleaned, and worst of all, there were bed bugs, which made the experience horrifying. Management needs to seriously address hygiene and pest control. Another major issue was the lack of functioning air conditioning, even though it was clearly promised when booking. Pros: Prime location, good rooms and decent breakfast. LIDL next door, and multiple resturants near by. SBahn is just there as you come out of property. Only takes about 20-25 to the airport and 10 minutes to Berlin Main. Staff were frieendly. Cons: wait time for elevators is crazy. Room was very hot, Air Conditioning was almost non existent.

Spacious (standard room, twin beds) but first floor room means you can hear all the outside street noise and conversations. Also sometime wrong with the bathroom sink not draining normally (this made brushing your teeth slightly challenging, we opted to use the one in the toilet room after the night). The toilet is a separate room from the bathtub/showers, both slightly elevated. Reminds me of cruise ships. Overall decent but could be better. Berlin focuses on sustainability, water is potable direct from sink water.

Airconditionanlæg virkede ikke og familieværelset lå på 1.sal lige ud til en befærdet vej, så hvis man åbnede vinduerne var der SÅ meget larm fra vejen. Hvis ikke var der umenneskeligt varmt. Sengene var hårde og man var helt ødelagt i ryggen dagen efter.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel bien placé en face d'une station de Sbahn et à 10 min à pieds de Pozdamer platz. Lit très confortable et chambre très spacieuse . Pas de charme particulier mais du confort et du calme. Attention la kitchenette n'est équipée que d'un microonde et mini frigo avec 2 tasses. The location is good, there’s a metro right next to the hotel. The room was good in terms of size. The front desk staff needs to work in be more helpful to the guest. We had a problem with the safe box in the room, it got locked and didn’t want to open so we call front desk and they told my husband that they couldn’t help because they were too busy and couldn’t do anything. Are you kidding me how you tell a guest that ?? Our passport and other important and valuable things were in the safe box so how you dare to tell me you’re too busy to help and you can’t do anything? Worst guest service I ever experienced. They also need to improve in terms of cleanliness and/or inspect for any plagues in rooms, because there were cockroaches coming out of the microwave area.

The location was great. Very easy connection to buses and trains. Walkable to check Point Charlie. Plus scooter and bike app hire right outside the door. Best Vietnamese restaurant 10 min walk called Go Mumma also a large supermarket 5 min walk Great large room for 4 people. Breakfast was great, but very busy. Overall the family had a good 2 night stay

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great location, close by to numerous public transport links. Only a ten minute walk to Check Point Charlie and Potsdamer Platz. Very quiet rooms, quiet street. Really comfortable and warm rooms. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

Fint hotel til familietur. Ligger i et lidt kedeligt område, men S-bahn ligger lige ved siden af, og der er gåafstand til centrum. Det er et stille hotel, og vi kunne ikke høre støj fra hverken gang eller nabo værelser. Der kunne være lidt ventetid ved morgenmaden, men vi blev et par gange tilbudt at gå ind på nabohotellet i stedet, som skulle tilbyde den samme morgenmad. Det afslog vi dog. Alt i alt et rigtig fint hotel med familieværelse på en god størrelse.

Just disgusting. Cleaning is non existent. Hair, stains, on the beds, litter on the floor. I have asked the reception to provide extra cleaning... nothing happened. Room was noisy as well, no soundproofing. Extremely expensive for what they offer. Ah, and the location it's not Potsdamer Platz... but 1km away.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, perfekt gelegen grad für Ausflüge um die Stadt zu erkunden. Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, Juden Denkmal, Brandenburger Tor...alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Haltestelle firekt vor Ort. Lokale um Essen zu gehen oder zum Einkaufen auch vorhanden. Das Frühstück im Hotel isz sehr zu empfehlen.
