Superb location - can walk to key things within 20 mins. Room was ready early when we arrived which wasn’t expected but was a real bonus! Super bed for a double and sofa bed. All necessary facilities including fridge, separate WC to shower room, coffee machine etc. Even a small balcony. Only minor points is hotel bar only opens from tea time and no English tv channels other than news.

Das Privilege Zimmer war super. Es war ruhig und groß. Super für Familien. Eine Modernisierung könnten die alten Zimmer allerdings gebrauchen. Zumindest war es sehr sauber und es wurde täglich geputzt. Der Fitnessraum war alles andere als Fitness. Es war eher eine Abstellkammer. Viel zu klein (3 qm) für die Größe des Hotels und nur ein Stepper, ein Laufband das defekt war und drei Bälle. Platz im Übungen auf den Boden zu absolvieren war nicht möglich weil zu einem kein Platz und zum anderen keine Matten vorhanden. Also kurz gesagt, mit 3 Personen war der Raum überfüllt.

This comfortable and clean hotel is in a great area for exploring Berlin. The hotel has very good amenities - a very filling breakfast to start the day and a bar with a nice terrace to finish it. Housekeeping was very diligent and the staff helpful.

Excellent location; within walking distance to CP Charlie, Unter den Linden bvd, museum island ... Calm, out of main street. Beautiful breakfast area, lots of choice and very delicious. Complimentary sauna and fitness. Will definitely stay again.

Empfang war sehr kalt und unfreundlich. Wir hatten das Zimmer 405. Gebucht, so steht es auch in der Bestätigung inkl. Foto wurde ein großes Doppelbett im 30m2 Zimmer. Bekommen haben wir 2 zusammengeschobene Betten. Bei der Ankunft waren Haare und Brösel am Bett. Die Wäsche wurde mit murren gewechselt. Das Bad war verschmutzt und am Boden bzw. dem Teppich im Zimmer sind wirklich viele Flecken. Der Schmutz wurde abends als wir unterwegs waren entfernt und es roch als wir zurückkamen dann extrem nach Chlor und Putzmittel. Das Zimmer hat einen Minibalkon mit Aschenbecher. Das Zimmer roch von Beginn an nach Rauch und der Rauch steigt auch vom Garten nach oben. Eine große Freude hatten wir auch damit natürlich nicht. Ich verstehe nicht, warum man so ein Zimmer vergibt. Reisende freuen sich auf ein tolles Wochenende und finden sich dann in so einer Situation. Auch das Möbelstück auf welchem sich der Fernseher befindet war sehr staubig. Nachdem wir Bett und Bad schon reklamiert hatten war es uns die Aufregung nicht wert Weiteres zu bemängeln. Uns wurde nach der ersten Reklamation ein Getränk angeboten welches wir ablehnten, denn der Sinn wäre Zimmer vorab zu kontrollieren. Enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Bis auf die beiden Mitarbeiter die am 1. Abend an der Rezeption waren empfand ich das Verhalten derer die bei der Ankunft und beim Check out waren als sehr unprofessionell und unmotiviert. Smell from sewer can’t be ignored. The cleaning staff had to open the window every morning to easy the smell which ended up with mosquitoes in the room. The front desk staff were not friendly, not even say hi back when we greeted them.

The furnishings were very dated. The air conditioner did not work at all. The staff gave us a fan, which was nice but inadequate. They said they would have someone check the air conditioning, but nothing changed. This is not up to the standards of other Mercure properties.

Hotel is okay but not great. No water in the room, AC is useless and cannot keep the room cool. Bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Front desk staff are friendly. Breakfast was the only tning that was above average. Wouldn't stay here again for the price point.

Location was convenient for getting to the places we wanted to visit. The room was large, but poorly lit. The toilet was separate from the shower except they were not next to each other. The toilet was next to the door to the room. To go to the shower and large sink required taking about 20 steps in a U-shape. Very odd room configuration.

Hotel room was HUGE for a European room. Had separate toilet room vs. shower, which was convenient for 3 adults staying in the room. Had separate sleeper-sofa for our daughter, and even with that open, there was a lot of room. Had small balcony to inner courtyard which was nice. Easy 5 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie, and access to Metro, etc.

Terrasse steht zur Verfügung bis 22 Uhr (das ist die Theorie) aber der Barman hat uns der Zugang verweigert. ich möchte hinweisen dass alle andere Personen (Frühstück, Barwoman vom 21.01 usw.) haben uns Zugang erlaubt.

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind and helpful. The Staff’s English was extremely good. Checkpoint Charlie is very close. Can jump on the U-Bahn there and make it anywhere in the city. Plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby. Room was spacious and clean. Do yourself a favor a stay here.

My 3rd time at this hotel and i must say its gone down hill, its clean but the staff are not welcoming atall can not even be bothered to say good morning, having said that the bloke behind the bar was first rate happy and chatty, altho the staff did nothing wrong i think most of them would benefit from a course in customer relations.

Perfect, central location close to Kochstraße underground. From the hotel we were able to walk to the Bunker museum, Brandenburg Gate, the Checkpoint Charlie museum. Plenty of breakfast cafes and evening restaurants near by. We particularly loved La Via Del Muro, a great Italian restaurant. Hotel is on a quiet street. Would definitely stay here again.

3-night stay for Christmas markets. Hotel was on the whole very good. Can't comment on quality of breakfast as at €50 per couple it was too pricy for us. (A good selection of cafes nearby). Used the hotel bar each night. First night was poor. Bar tender admitted it wasnt his normal shift but couldnt even supply 2 glasses of red wine. Disappointing for a 4* hotel. Following 2 nights much better but still pricey at €35 for 2 glasses of wine (0.2 litre) each. Reception staff helpful and friendly.

Sentralt beliggende, rent og pent hotell som anbefales. Hyggelig betjening. Eneste minus er pris på frokost. Vi hadde ikke dette inkludert, og måtte betale €25 per hode for en middels minus frokost. Det er hinsides all fornuft. Dag 2 ble det deilig frokost på et bakeri i nærområdet til €23 totalt... Utover det hadde vi et supert opphold på Mercure Checkpoint Charlie.

Cozy hotel. Staff is very helpful and professional. Room is quiet good for three adults. Breakfast is very good. Ample choice of food. Even gluten free bread is available. One of us had an early flight and they provided breakfast to go for him. All this plus 450 meters to nearest metro.
