親切なホテルフロント、そして絶好のロケーション。旧東西ベルリンのど真ん中に位置します。近くには地下鉄駅があり、ホテルはアメリカ大使館と隣接しています。その反対側に道を挟んでロシア大使館があります。また、すぐ近くに有名なブランデンブルク門があります。館内サウナはスタイリッシュで三種類のサウナがあり、旅の疲れを癒してくれました。お土産などの荷造りの際、段ボール箱やガムテープ、荷造り紐、ハサミを用意してくれて本当に助かりました。ありがとう。美味しいレストランが歩いて数分のところにあり、ホテルの紹介で行ったイタリア料理のＩＬ　PUNTOなどはリーズナブルなお値段で、料理もワインも美味しいところでした。

Das Hotel Adlon ist ein außergewöhnliches Luxushotel, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Der Service ist hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind zeitlos, elegant und geräumig. Die Lage ist optimal. Das Hotel liegt zentral am Brandenburger Tor. Eine S-Bahn- und eine U-Bahnhaltestelle befindet sich direkt gegenüber vom Hotel. Der Pool bzw. der Whirlpool sind ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist großartig und sehr vielfältig. Wir lieben das Adlon und haben unseren Kurzurlaub in Berlin dort sehr genossen.

Vi gledet oss veldig til denne overnattingen, og ble ikke skuffet. Vi ble møtt av hyggelige, profesjonelle og effektive medarbeidere i hele hotellet, og det var en behagelig atmosfære i hele hotellet. Vi likte spesielt lobbybaren, og frokosten . Um eine für die Allgemeinheit vernünftige Bewertung abzugeben, muss ich etwas ausholen. Im Normalfall buchen wir Hotels mit einem Übernachtungspreis zwischen 100 und 300€ die Nacht, was auch völlig ausreichend, und meist sehr exklusiv ist. Das Adlon buchte ich nur weil es ein Traum von meiner Frau war darin zu übernachten, da sie einige Bücher über das Adlon las und die Filme über das Adlon liebt. Um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen, buchte ich ein Superior Deluxe Zimmer mit Blick auf die Prachtstraße "Unter die Linden" inklusive Frühstück, Paketpreis 650€ die Nacht. Mh, man wohnt im Adlon mit historischer Geschichte - Service oft drüber, aber immer nett und fürsorglich, manchmal war es uns etwas viel - es gibt aber sicherlich Leute, denen dieser Service nicht ausreichend ist. Die Lobby und Lobby-Bar ist top, ebenfalls das Restaurant Quarre, für das ich einen Tisch reservierte, beide überzeugten mit gutem Essen und Service, ebenfalls das Frühstück, was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Der Poolbereich im -1 Geschoss ist ebenfalls super, jedenfalls fand ich nichts negatives. Was mich aber etwas nervt, ist der Zustand der Zimmer, Teppiche voller Flecken, abgeranzte Badmöbel, Klobrille mit abgeplatzter Kaschierung, Schränke die wegen verstellter Spaltmaße nicht verschlossen werden können und somit das Schranklicht Tag und Nacht leuchtet. Billigere Hotels würden wegen sowas in der Luft zerissen werden, aber man übernachtet halt im Adlon.

Die Sterne verblassen, leider. Es ist immer noch ein Erlebnis dort abzusteigen, aber Glanz des berühmten Hotels besteht nur noch in den Namen. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend aber auch nicht mehr. Einzelne Personen lassen den zu erwartenden Service noch erleben, aber das ist die Ausnahme. Das Frühstück ist gut aber in manchen Bereichen zu verbessern, wie z. B. die Auswahl des Wurstsortimentes und die Käseauswahl ist auch nicht beeindruckend. Die Zimmer benötigen dringend eine Renovierung insbesondere die Bodenbeläge und Sitzgelegenheiten bedürfen einer Grundreinigung. Das Schwimmbad und der Fitnessraum sindklein für so ein großes Hotel.

Wiederholungstäter - bereits zum 4. mal haben wir unsere Tage in Berlin im Adlon verbracht. Wir lieben den Charme des Hotels, den Service und die immer sehr aufmerksamen Angestellten. Dieses mal sind uns allerdings "unschöne und unpassende" Flecken im WC aufgefallen. Obwohl wir das ansprachen ist leider nichts passiert, sodass wir uns etwas selbst geholfen haben. Insgesamt hat uns das unsere Begeisterung nicht genommen, war jedoch schade. Gut kompensiert hat das der Mitarbeiter im Restaurant, wohin wir uns erstmalig begaben. Ein toller, unterhaltsamer Service, gutes Essen und Getränke - wir kommen wieder. Ins Hotel und ins Restaurant, bestimmt.

The property needs a guest room renovation. Our room had a very worn chair with black wear marks on the arms. The shower, with the door closed, flooded the bathroom floor, every time you showered. The room controls were only in German. As the premier hotel in Berlin with a famous reputation that gets lots of international guests, I would’ve expected the switches to have symbols understood by someone who doesn’t speak German. The thermostat was locked to a maximum 22 degrees. The staff were very friendly but service was spotty. The front desk forgot to give the Bellman our luggage tags so we had to phone for our luggage on arrival. The service in the brasserie was generally poor although the staff were always very friendly. We had to flag down staff to have orders taken and pay in the end. The person delivering the starters didn’t know who had what, and when the main courses arrived one was not ours, and the second one was not prepared as requested. We assume that the person picked up the wrong order in the kitchen because they corrected the issue quickly. The staff were either under trained or the restaurant understaffed. The person checking us out was very responsive and took note of what I had to say after she asked about our stay. She was the most interested staff member. If there had only been one thing, I would not say anything, but the combination of issues, albeit none of them large, is concerning given the Adlon’s reputation. Disappointing stay.

The hotel is in a perfect location, public areas are very nice, and the history of the hotel is interesting. Our room was not ready so they moved us to a different room - quite sure not at the same level we paid for. Front desk staff is very pleasant although not overly quick. Long lines to check in, no follow up from front desk on a water delivery. Bellmen were wonderful! Beds are very firm and pillows are soft (terribly soft)! Bathroom is the size of a closet. Would not stay there again if I were to return to Berlin.

Unser Aufenthalt im Adlon Kempinski Berlin war leider weit entfernt von dem, was man von einem Haus dieser Kategorie erwarten würde. Bereits beim Check-in begann das Chaos. Die Rezeption war völlig überlaufen, es dauerte ewig, bis wir an der Reihe waren. Nach einer langen Wartezeit erklärte uns die Mitarbeiterin, unser Zimmer sei „sehr schön“ und im zweiten Stock gelegen. Wir fragten wie immer und überall, ob es eventuell ein schöneres Zimmer oder ein Upgrade gäbe. Sie sagte: „Ein Upgrade gibt es nicht, aber ich kann Sie in den vierten Stock verlegen.“ Das dieses Zimmer allerdings in einem abgelegenen Teil des Hotels lag, weit entfernt von den Hauptbereichen, dunkel und isoliert wirkte, erwähnte sie nicht. Von Adlon-Atmosphäre war dort nichts zu spüren – man fühlte sich fast wie in einem Nebengebäude. Dazu mussten wir fast eine Stunde auf unser Gepäck warten und zweimal anrufen. Der Concierge erklärte später, dass er die Koffer mit denen anderer Gäste verwechselt hatte. Standen unsere Sachen dann also zeitweise in einem fremden Zimmer? Da hätte also theoretisch jemand einfach etwas aus den Taschen entnehmen können – ein absolutes No-Go in einem Luxushotel. Am nächsten Tag baten wir um einen Zimmerwechsel, weil wir uns in diesem abgelegenen Trakt überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt haben. Wir erhielten schließlich ein helleres Zimmer mit Balkon – allerdings nur gegen einen Aufpreis von 80 € pro Nacht, obwohl wir davon ausgingen, genau diese Kategorie ursprünglich gebucht zu haben.

Die Zimmer waren nicht fertig, Koffer wurden nicht auf das Zimmer gebracht und telefonisch war die Rezeption nicht erreichbar. There was no vip treatment at all. Check in we had to wait till 2.38 to get room instead of 3 pm although we arrived at 11.15 am and we asked if possible to get room earlier. Upon arrival i asked to check out at 3 pm if possible was told they will put a note but i have to check the next day.the next day was told to check the day of departure and finally was told this was not possible. Didn’t see any vip treatment. Hotel is wonderful, personnel is experienced but it depends to whom you will have the luck to talk to. They are all very polite but some are quite tired and it shows. Especially at concierge where the head concierge is amazing , some others leave much to be desired.

Hotel is well situated and we were able to walk to all historic and sightseeing places. It is only a few minutes walk from the Parliament and 20 minutes walk from Checkpoint Charlie. KA DE WE store is also not very far. It is 50 minutes walk or a 10 minute taxi drive. It is a pleasant walk , most of it through the Tiergarten. The hotel is a 5 star hotel. There are many good dining options nearby.

Skønt ophold, dejlig venlig personale. Dog fungerer ankomst til morgenmad ikke. Det kan ikke være rigtigt man skal stå i kø i 25 minutter for at få anvist et bord. Tjenerner bruger tiden på at anvise og finde borde som ikke brugt istedet for at få afryddet de brugte borde. Vi sad under hele vores morgenmad ca 1 time ved siden af et brugt bord. Det passer ikke til et 5-stjernet hotel. Det skal i få styr på til næste gang jeg kommer.

Quite simply, one of the best hotels in the world. Staff. Location. Restaurants. Bar. The continuing maintenance on a daily basis is remarkable. I’ve stayed in this hotel a few times. I am amazed each time that the rooms and public areas are in perfect condition. The breakfast: Probably-World’s Best.

The location was great. The room was bad maintained and appliances and contacts not practical. The service outside in the terrace too bad but the food was great though.
