It is in a good location and we booked a garden room which was nice and quiet. Good air con (quiet / effective) in the room we used. We hired hotel bikes which were satisfactory. Some have 7 gears, some 21. Could do with a service and some oil. Staff helped us pump up the tires. Some nice places in neighbourhood to eat breakfast / lunch (Buoni) and dinner (pizza place W on nearby junction where trams turn, 84 a block away - excellent Vietnamese food). Nice walk to Reichstag / river area.

10 minutes walk from the main station. Unfortunately due to lack of staff the kitchen was closed. On one day the hot water was turned off from 8 because of work on the water pipe. This is too early in my opinion. I would have liked to have known this before I booked, and about the lack of staff thing at check in. But otherwise I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

The location is great for any occasion you might have for visiting Berlin. Room very clean, staff very friendly and very helpful. I didn't have food but the lounge area is quite comfortable and the breakfast area is quite spacious. Central Station is 10min walk from Hotel. Underground is 2min walk. Visiting Berlin again I will definitely look to book this hotel.

Das Zimmer war leider recht heruntergekommen (flecken im Teppich, kaputte Fliesen und Schimmel im Bad) und der Bettbezug war leider auch mit Flecken versehen. Leider ist die 4 Sterne Hotel Kategorie überhaupt nicht nachvollziehbar. Da gibt es weit aus bessere Hotels wo Preis Leistung stimmen.

Leider hat bei Ankunft unser Zimmer nach Rauch und Schweiss gestunken! Das Bett war sehr unbequem und für zwei Personen zu klein. Die Matratze hatte in der Mitte eine Einbuchtung was dazu geführt hat, dass ich immer vom Bettrand in die Mitte gerollt bin. Kissen und Bettwäsche haben extrem nach Schweiss gestunken! Nachdem ich mich beschwert habe, hat man uns frische Kissen und Bettwäsche gebracht aber dennoch war es sehr unbequem! Die junge Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und wollte für den nächst möglichen Tag ein anderes Zimmer für uns anbieten aber leider war es zu spät nach zwei schlaflosen Nächten hätte eine Nacht in einem anderen Zimmer nichts gerissen!

Stayed at this hotel for the first 3 nights of our European vacation with 2 other couples. The hotel rooms are not overly big but they were clean and quiet. The hotel offers breakfast but we did not eat at the hotel so cant comment on it. Hotel is located just a block from a subway station so convenient for getting around. Lots of restaurants within a 15 min walk from the hotel. Rooms have safes but they are hidden in a cabinet under the coffee maker. Overall a decent stay.

Very underwhelming. I would not consider this a 4 star hotel. The rooms are VERY small, if you have 2 people with luggage there is not enough space. The rooms are very HOT I don’t think the air conditioner actually gets to 18 (which is the lowest you can go.) But you can ask to open the window and choose to listen to trains and stay cool. Breakfast was sub par. We were stuck an extra night and booked a room at the Meliá Berlin - also 4 stars - highly recommend.

clean and attractive rooms but very small. Wonderful convenient location. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. We were only there for 2 nights, and were very sleep deprived when we first arrived! The room felt overly warm and we could not get the air conditioner to cool down the room. It met our needs, but I would not want to stay there for more than a couple of nights due to the size of the room.

Mercure Hotel Berlin City is well located, 950m from Berlin HBF (central station) and with a tram stop right out front. There are also plenty of restaurants within 10 - 15 min walk. The hotel is clean, and our room had adequate, albeit basic facilities, other than a fridge. The restaurant was more than happy to provide ice on request though. Service is okay, though I had to go down to reception to collect a firmer pillow, rather than it being brought to me. The most annoying issue I had was the air conditioning, which functions differently than what i am used to. It shuts off entirely once the air temperature outside reaches the setting in the room. The room then gradually warms up to the point where I woke up on 2 of 4 nights feeling that I was suffocating. Normally, air conditioning kicks back in once the room warms up, but this one does not turn back on. The front desk were aware of this issue and offered to unlock the window for us. Whilst this helps, I shouldn't have to get up during the night to open the window. The mattresses also need to be rotated. I felt like my feet were higher than my body. I loved Berlin and will come back to this city again, though I'll stay somewhere else next time. Mercure Hotel Berlin City is average at best.

O hotel é bem localizado. E só. Wi-Fi ruim, travesseiros ruins e não tem geladeira. Isso é inconcebível. Suas bebidas nunca estão geladas. Box do banheiro pequeno. Pessoas grandes talvez não consigam tomar banho, pois a porta que dá acesso ao box não abre muito. Não recomendo e não ficaria novamente.

The hotel is well situated for easy access to other areas, by public transport or on foot. The price was reasonable for such a nice, clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The bar was an excellent place to unwind and have a few drinks and a some nice food or snacks, again with excellent, friendly service from the bar tender. My favourite dish was one of the snacks - beetroot falafel. I would recommend the hotel for all of the above and for its convenient location to get to anywhere else in Berlin, with a tram stop near the front door and the underground just round the corner.

Overall I had a nice experience. I don’t want to generalize, and some of the staffers went above and beyond to be friendly. But the day I checked in, the person at the reception kept insisting that she couldn’t find my reservation. She made me wait almost half an hour— only to tell me that breakfast wouldn’t be included. I showed her my receipt which said “included amenities: free breakfast,” and her response was, “ok, but what does the word ‘amenities’ mean?” It certainly didn’t help that she looked frustrated, like it was my fault or something. It’s really a shame that check-in was so awful. The hotel room itself was nice, and the breakfast was superb.

Schönes Zimmer mit Schreibtisch und kleinem Duschbad. Frühstück gut aber großes Gedränge. Firmenadresse beim Einchecken abgegeben, war aber beim Auschecken nicht im System, was recht viel Zeit bei der Rechnungsstellung gekostet hat.

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to many public transport options but also not too far a walk from the main sites if you like to get around by foot. Facilities were lovely, bed was really comfortable, and the area itself is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Berlin.

Im Ganzen - ein nettes Hotel in der Stadtmitte. Das Frühstuck für 25€ p/Person entspricht nicht dem Service. Empfehlung : Show-cooking anzubieten für frische Omeletts und Pfannkuchen, mehr Gemüse. Ansonsten ist der Preis für 2 personen gerecht (nicht für eine).

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Staff were excellent, especially the bar staff who worked so hard! Breakfast was superb (though an option for decaf coffee would have been welcomed), with a fantastic range of choices. Looking forward to returning some time!
