This is a very well appointed hotel in a convenient location by Bournemouth standards, directly across the street from the Russell Cotes Museum, and a climb up the hill from the pier area. The spacious rooms are clean and have every amenity you could want, including two fans, which came in handy in July. And enough storage to put away a month's worth of belongings. The pool area is lovely, we were here a few weeks earlier and there were no chairs out. and no one around. The second time there were no chairs left and the bar was open. So I guess you have to time the pool area just right. When I arrived early, my room wasn't quite ready so I went to sit in the bar area for a cup of tea. I'm afraid that was not well timed either, the employee was obviously upset about something and was short tempered. Then the other person in the bar had to get a refund from a different employee because what she ordered for lunch had gone off in some way. I didn't hear the whole conversation while I was waiting for my tea. But he gave her a refund and an apology. Compared to several other large hotels in the immediate area, I would choose the Marshawn again.

I stayed at Marsham Hotel in Borehamwood and unfortunately the experience didn’t match the great location. The pool area is genuinely nice, but the rest of the hotel felt poorly maintained. The room lacked basic cleanliness, there was no air conditioning, and the parking situation was a mess — very small and the markings are completely wrong, making it frustrating to use. With a bit more care this place could be much better, but right now it’s not worth the price.

It has been a few years since we have stayed at Marsham Court Hotel due to the general price increases. However, after receiving a discount code, we quickly booked. The staff were absolutely fantastic! Helpful, friendly and sorted any query quickly and with a smile. They could not have been more helpful! The weather was very hot outside so they had near reception a big water urn with ice which they even let us fill up our own water bottles with. The amenities are fantastic. Infact the weather was so hot that the kids preferred the outdoor pool even to the beach! The hotel is across the road from the path leading down to the beach where the pier, shops and facilities are, so a fantastic location!

The room was ok. Very dated The bed was not comfortable at all sadly as expected and we didn’t get a good sleep There is a service charge put onto every purchase sadly which is a bit much considering the prices already The shower pressure was non existent aswell so all in all I’d rate it a 6/10. The best feature is the swimming pool which was superb
