Enjoyable stay at the pines, with nice clean spacious rooms and a good nights sleep. The hotel as a whole is a little dated but has been kept clean and cosy. The Spa and pool were not too busy at 6:30pm. Free parking too as a hotel with free parking is a rarity these days! Food wise, wasn’t great for the prices they are charging Bbq wings were not really bbq wings unfortunately. Needed a bbq sauce to dip into / drizzle over rather than the slop that made its way into two of the five wings. Accompanying coleslaw tasteless. Disappointing for £9.50 and had better in chain establishments Steak and Ale pie was decent, steak a bit chewy. Mash was great and a small side of carrots and tenderstem broccoli

Very easy to get to and ample parking, lovely gardens as expected for a golf hotel. Booked through Expedia and all correspondence through Expedia, replied to a message received asking for any room request- asked for a message to be left for our son in the room- this was not actioned. Also room towels and cups only set up for 2 instead of 4 and there was no mini bar in the room as offered, however this was quickly rectified by reception staff and a good will drink offered. Pool area was good, a little dated compared to golf facilities but perfectly serviceable. Staff are lovely and very accommodating in all areas of the hotel. All in all i would book again maybe just work on message requests from external booking companies.

Located within a beautiful Championship golf course in the Lincolnshire Countryside. For non golfers there is a 2 mile jogging/walking path you can follow which weaves it's away through the trees and well manicured course. A modern clubhouse with a large bar and wrap around decking area provides a great spot to chill while watching the golf. There is a nice spa and swimming pool in an adjacent building, along with a Sauna and steam room. The Restaurant and bar area are very modern and well laid out and unless there is a golf society day, very quiet. All in all if you want a relaxing stay in a quiet location in beautiful grounds I highly recommend Forest Pines. As for the negative reviews, sadly that is a reflection of the age of social media and a need to be unpleasant because this is lovely place to stay.

Some aspects of the property are getting tired. Grout around bath/shower in both rooms going black with mould growth (white grout with black growth spots) carpets stained and dirty just really needs some more attention on deep cleaning and it’ll be back to the standard expected of such an establishment

Room - Superior Family Room with 2 double beds. The room was beautifully decorated with high quality finish/furnishings. Very comfortable beds/pillows etc.. The fridge was stocked with Diet Coke, water, wine, beer and pretzels. On arrival there was only wine but every day after that it was fully stocked. Lovely toiletries included. Unfortunately the room was let down by the cleanliness. The shower tiles were gross and there was mould on the shower tray - this would take 5 minutes to clean and 2 minutes each time to keep on top of so no excuse for it. I also kept finding little short and curly hairs on the wall tiles around the rest of the bathroom which made me wonder what order they were cleaning things in. There was a lot of dust on lamp shades and bedside tables as well. Our extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work so by the time 4 of us had showered each day, the walls, surfaces and everything else was soaking wet. I reported it twice and nothing was done about it.It really is a shame about the cleanliness issues because otherwise the room was spot on. Breakfast-Breakfast was great. Lots of choice and always being topped up. There were all the usual hot items, fresh fruit, overnight oats, pastries, cereals and so much more. Staff - every member of staff we interacted with was pleasant, helpful and friendly. The only issue we had was the extractor not being fixed. My son uses a wheelchair and we found the hotel very accessible. The pool was good but always very buy.

The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff were amazing and very good with the children - the meals were worth the money! Our room was immaculate! The facilities were fab. Only niggle was the phone didn't work in our room and so I had to go to reception to order room service... They still charged me the £5 tray fee, which I thought they could have waivered due to the phone not working. But, they were very helpful and friendly

It’s was overall not the best no kettle in room, one towel between two people, carpet around bed looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and room was tidy but didn’t look too clean and swimming pool facilities only open till 7:30, however staff were very friendly and nice and bed was comfortable. Would rate a 6/10

All ok breakfast good reception good but.. bedsheets weren’t properly clean (black marks on the sheets) the pillow cases were inside out and the room / carpet etc was tired. So ok but nothing special.

Room was clean and of a good size. 250 steps from Reception to our room, so a good walk! Breakfast buffet was excellent. Dinner was nice but we felt it was over priced, as were the drinks. All of the staff were lovely - everyone was really friendly and our server at dinner, Alex, was excellent.

A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. Also, Sylvie on reception was very helpful. Our room was lovely and it was a delight to stay there.

The staff were very polite, helpful and professional. Lovely smiley greeting on arrival. Didn’t get an opportunity to try the spa or pool unfortunately due to other commitments and check in check out times

Very nice hotel indeed, clean and well presented throughout. The room we stayed in looked to have been recently refurbished and had been done to a high standard. Lounge and bar area was spacious and comfortable, as was the restaurant. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection to suit all. The only disappointment to note during our stay was the service during evening meal. We waited over 25 minutes for drinks to arrive, our food arrived beforehand. Some of our food order was wrong and had missing items and when we mentioned this we were told the items were not available. We should have been told this beforehand, we could then have made alternative selections. The younger members of the waiting staff probably need a little more training. This would not stop us returning though - the grounds are lovely, there is a small play area for the kids and the pool area is very nice (if a little small). Would definitely recommend.

Located within a beautiful Championship golf course in the Lincolnshire Countryside. For non golfers there is a 2 mile jogging/walking path you can follow which weaves it's away through the trees and well manicured course. A modern clubhouse with a large bar and wrap around decking area provides a great spot to chill while watching the golf. There is a nice spa and swimming pool in an adjacent building, along with a Sauna and steam room. The Restaurant and bar area are very modern and well laid out and unless there is a golf society day, very quiet. All in all if you want a relaxing stay in a quiet location in beautiful grounds I highly recommend Forest Pines. As for the negative reviews, sadly that is a reflection of the age of social media and a need to be unpleasant because this is lovely place to stay.

The hotel was very handy for were I was working and extremely good value for money compared to other hotels(mainly low budget). The hotel has really good facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good customer experience

Very thin duvet cover, no glasses in bathroom and shortage of toilet extras (cotton wool etc) frames and shelves around bathroom mirrors flaking and need re lacquering Breakfast was very poor self service and had not been replaced fried eggs solid bacon had hair on it and sausage dried up and everything Luke warm unable to eat took everything back to Vicky who returned it to the kitchen didn’t fancy anything else and put a complaint to restaurant manager Tracy . Shame previous stay a couple months earlier had been very good hence return Will be writing directly to the hotel to voice my displeasure

I had a 2 night stay with a friend whilst attending a funeral locally. The room was clean and tidy and good sized. we had a meal in the restaurant with other fiends (8of us). Most of us had a good experience. But 3 had an issue with the steaks ordered. They found them to be a little tough to eat. The others all enjoyed what they had ordered. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. There was ample parking,

Really good all round! Every member of staff friendly and eager to help! Jack in the bar particularly! Facilities across the resort extensive and great for the family. Food in the bar great but perhaps a little overpriced is only downside to whole stay. Breakfast really good too in nice breakfast room.

Enjoyable stay at the pines, with nice clean spacious rooms and a good nights sleep. The hotel as a whole is a little dated but has been kept clean and cosy. The Spa and pool were not too busy at 6:30pm. Free parking too as a hotel with free parking is a rarity these days! Food wise, wasn’t great for the prices they are charging Bbq wings were not really bbq wings unfortunately. Needed a bbq sauce to dip into / drizzle over rather than the slop that made its way into two of the five wings. Accompanying coleslaw tasteless. Disappointing for £9.50 and had better in chain establishments Steak and Ale pie was decent, steak a bit chewy. Mash was great and a small side of carrots and tenderstem broccoli

The hotel was clean and room was well presented. We used the facilities at the Health Club and we enjoyed that. We have a plant-based diet and we found that plant-based options were very limited at dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again

Smart TVs would be a great addition, allowing guests to use services such as Netflix, and replacing the shower curtains over the baths with proper shower screens would make a noticeable difference. The gym and swimming pool were both really good and a great addition to the hotel. The signage around the hotel could perhaps be improved, as it can feel a little like a maze when trying to find your way around. The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice of options, and represented good value for money. The Hotel was lovely the staff were polite the rooms were clean but only problem was the toilet was really low and my mum had mobility problems also we found that it was really low for the other family members. It was nice and accessible in the Hotel but too get to the Hotel pool and gym it was a rather long walk and to the other bar where the golfing was. I thought I was a bit expensive for what we paid for the double room for 4.
