Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful layout of the property. Good restaurant with choice of indoors or outdoors. The pool is actually big enough to swim. Good location near beautiful Town Beach area. Walking distance of town centre. Room lacks a comfortable seat with good back support for prolonged sitting - although comfortable seats elsewhere on the property are available.

Great time at the Continental Hotel. Friendly welcoming staff clean and beautiful pool with recently renovated rooms. Restaurant was well priced and also allow food to be taken to rooms. Great location for walking to shops and brewery. Will certainly stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Continental it is an older style property that is being brought back to life. We had a new refurbished room which was lovely although a little small. The grounds around the hotel are lovely, although the pool area needs some maintenance. Simple things like some rubbish bins round the pool, cleaning the water line and a shower near the pool would help. The staff were fantastic, helpful and really friendly. The small hotel gym was perfect for a basic workout. The hotel was lovely and peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break.

Staff were pleasant and the food was very good. However we had no hot showers, very limited internet connection and the resort was undergoing renovations. Our room was brand new but not everything worked. The lighting system was a nightmare. We never knew which combination of button pushing would turn the lights on or off. Same with the air conditioning unit. Pool was very cold which we didn't mind too much but most overseas guests didn't use it because of the temperature.

Excellent stay in suite #201 Large bedroom with a separate sitting room and a huge tv screen. Lovely decoration and a very comfortable bed. The pool was under repair, however the weather was not for swimming pool. It did not affect us. The restaurant is very good Papa Fuego. The location is about 20min walk to town and very close to town beach

Great, friendly staff! The property is close to town and restaurants/pubs. However, the atmosphere was lacking and our king bed room was just two single beds pushed together, creating an uncomfortable join in the middle of the bed. Bit disappointing considering we paid extra to upgrade from the Queen to king room. We also couldn’t open the curtains or sliding doors in our room as the windows/sliding doors and seating area faced directly onto a busy ground floor parking lot and pedestrian sidewalk. Would probably choose alternative accomodation for my next Broome stay.

For the cost of one nights accomodation I thought the room was and felt ‘tired’ and not welcoming. I still have the bruise from the hard framed timber bed. Your faded exterior signage says it all. I have been to Broome many times and and love it. Paul

The property looked good but the room lighting was very difficult to operate. The shower had no screen and water spread right across the floor to the toilet. The dining menu was very limited and the one evening meal we had was appalling. There was one cereal on the breakfast menu and it was not available. No fruit.

We had a problem with our room - the lock was broken. The receptionist changed us to another room - with an upgrade. She dealt with this effectively and efficiently and we were very satisfied. The new room was very nice - the first room was a bit run down and there were no lights working on the exterior wall. The music in the public areas - both inside and outside- was too loud and rather disturbing. I was not surprised no one was in the restaurant or around the pool - not relaxing at all!

The bus stop was right next to the hotel but it was also an easy walk into town. Reception was happy to allow me late check-out and to hold my suitcase while I made use of the pool while waiting for my plane.

A great overnight stay before our camping trip. Very handy bottle shop next door! Great restaurant on site. Very helpful staff. Bus to Cable beach just round the side of the hotel. Great all round.

Only needed one night. Staff were helpful. The 'in house' restaurant bar served a few vegetarian options for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Food was served quickly and portion size was good. We did find the music from the restaurant a little off putting - having it inside and out meant there was no escape. The location is great; easy walk to either Town Beach and Chinatown. Our room was well appointed and comfortable - we had been upgraded to poolside. Would stay there again.

Typical Australian holiday hotel. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. Grounds were very well maintained. Did not use the pools but they looked inviting. Location is nothing special. If you are expecting views of Roebuck Bay look elsewhere.

With no buses it's too far from town Some of the upgrades are from an old and worn base.. The refreshed rooms are good. Nice pool complex.

Very conveniently placed. Modern and very clean rooms, very comfortable bedding. Pool was amazing and plenty of space. It was very quiet for us also. Restaurant was humble but acceptable, but there isn't a lot of great eating in Broome anyway
