2 cockroaches in the room but it is what it is. Still nice facilities. Housekeepers were beautiful, receptionist seemed like she had better things to do but she closed and opened so can’t be mad. Pool not able to be used but that is not advertised when booking a room. Would we stay again. Probably.

We like coming to stay here for the facilities, and especially the heated pool, and comfy beds - but this time didn’t hit. The heating was out in the whole building (I was given a portable heater for my room after phoning reception - but this was not mentioned at all during check in). The pool looked amazing after its renovation, but unfortunately was not heated. Again, this was not mentioned at time of booking or check in, and I believe it has been an ongoing issue for weeks now. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the beds are comfy, although the curtains offer little block out, so the street lights are always shining in, and the balcony sliding doors offer poor outside noise control and ours also rattled all night. Our curtain also had a food smear on it? The inside piano music could still be heard at 3am, and I could also hear my neighbours water pipes and phone calls from my room. I hate writing this review, but cannot bite my tongue when I’ve paid $248 for the ‘experience’. We will not be back unless these problems are addressed.

Great atmosphere, family room was good size, only had a mini fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee cups (no crockery). Yummy buffet breakfast selection. Kids loved the pool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a little loud at night from traffic, but otherwise would highly recommend. Close to walk to the Main Street, beach, lookout and Koombana bay.

A classic property in its Hey-Day and to some extent it is still, but poor communication at the moment. No notice given that there was a $200 cash bond (or $100 by card) and no notice given the pool would be shut. It is the pool that makes this place.

Really nice hotel with exceptionally clean and spacious room. Walking distance to main road, cafes, pubs and the bay. Room was very quiet even though there were people swimming in the indoor pool. Never heard a thing!! Beautiful hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

There were workmen in the foyer area so I could hardly hear the receptionist upon arrival, parking is not secure and I had to walk up a flight of stairs using a crutch. The fire alarm went off but we could not hear it in our room and the staff told my husband it was just a drill so we ignored it, but then when we heard the fire engines with siren blazing we opened the door to our room again and heard an updated emergency message to use fire stairs and evacuate the hotel! No staff came to check if we were ok. So I had to climb down 3 flights of stairs with a crutch, the bottom flight was super hazardous as the hand rail had come off the wall and was on the stairs so manuovering over this was also a requirement. The room is very stuffy and humid and the towel was not replaced from the person beforehand, however the breakfast was amazing. The hotel staff need training in emergency evacuation and the room was mainly clean even though the bath towel and sponge were not. However I would go again as the breakfast food choice and service was awesome.

Expensive and no aircon that works even if you ask them to turn it on. No reception around before 7am if you check out early. The design of the place is poor so that noise from the central foyer reverberates up to all rooms and amplifies any party going on downstairs

The room that I was originally allocated opened out to a number of aircon units, which were noisy with the balcony door open. I found this considerably challenging and upsetting, so raised my concerns with the reception staff. The manager appreciated my issues with the room, and was kind enough to move me to a nicer room, which I was very happy with. 10/10 for the service I received.

We have stayed here before and we were extremely happy with the room we had, it was very modern and had obviously been recently updated. On this occasion we were in different room and to be honest it was really quite old. The bathroom needs updating as does the rest of the rooms fixed décor around the beds, that said the beds were new and the tv was ok. There was the music from the restaurant just underneath our room that did have its music a little loud early in the morning so if you are looking to sleep in a while it may be a problem but as we are early risers it didn’t seem to matter that much to us. The pool was clean even if a little on the colder side to be honest and the area surrounding it was clean too. All in all another nice break at this hotel and will be returning for sure although we will be asking for an updated room as it is a lot nicer if you want to just chill for an hour or so.

our brief stay at Lord Forrest Bunbury was great - Excellent staff with all showing great customer service, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and nice view of the ocean, very comfortable bed. The location is excellent - Bunbury is such a lively place, lots of great bars, restaraunts, (definitely recommend the Cedar Lebanese restaraunt on the water front - amazing food and service and a 5 minute walk from Lord Forrest) cafes, brewerys and pubs and great beaches, cycling/walking tracks. All were in very easy walking distance from Lord Forrest. Thankyou for the early check-in it was very appreciated.

The functionality of the accommodation is good. Staff were good. The inner atrium area seems dull despite the Christmas decorations. This is such a shame. There is one thing that is easily fixed. The bond should be released at departure. It is unreasonable to perceive that the bond money is kept for a week or so. Other hotels check the room immediately to resolved consumption from the minibar etc. This needs to be addressed immediately.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Disappointed in the restaurant. We ordered room service at 8pm. Was told couldn’t do room service as they were too busy. Went past restaurant about 10 minutes later and they were packing up and very loudly talking about going to someone’s party. Not one person in the restaurant. Very disappointed

30 minutes wait for a drink at the restaurant. Drinks were always warm. Air conditioner in room doesn’t work, on two seperate occasions. Family room advertised as 4 beds when it only had 3. No free bottles of water in the room.

the food was great , but 30 mins after dinner both my wife and I ended up taking turns in the toilet because of diarrhea. so no intimate relations for our Valentines special outing . an unenjoyable $500.00 outing.
