This hotel was amazing! It had the best customer service our family had ever experienced while on vacation. The owner and staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. For families the many activity options including pickleball, tennis, basketball, gym, pool and sauna were fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Super disappointed in this place. Booked as had spa/sauna and pool for kiddo. Spa was same temp as the pool which was disappointing after a hard day. May as well have paid a lot less for a different motel as the rooms were on a par with other motels I have stayed at. So nothing special.

A contender for fast becoming our favorite place to stay in Christchurch. Unassuming from the outside, The Commodore offers so much more than your standard hotel, beautifully kept native gardens, ev chargers, tennis courts, indoor pool, spacious rooms with their mini courtyards or balconies and a personable restaurant that serves stand out meals. To top it off, the staff are excellent.

Very nice property with lovely internal courtyard with waterfall feature. Comfortable restaurant/bar. Indoor Swimming pool. Rooms were nicely appointed and modernised with balcony. Comfortable bed Only issue was our bathroom sink was slow to drain, but not a major problem. Friendly reception staff.Hotel would suit family or corporate travellers.

Overall very happy with the hotel. Easy location and very friendly staff. Free shuttle is available all the time. The room is much bigger than I expected. The only problem is the mattress is too soft for me. It might be an issue for people who love firm mattresses. Otherwise it’s a good choice.

Booked the Commodore for a quick overnight and it was perfect. I arrived after midnight and was warmly greeted. The front desk even insisted on a porter for the bags as I was on the 2nd floor and there were stairs. I caught an early shuttle to the airport and it was ready on time. You can tell they care here and put effort into good service.

First time stay was excellent. Second was not that good....maybe it's Sunday thus the receptionists were gloomy. The younger receptionist didn't give my 2 adult boys the welcome drinks saying they were for adult. Nonsense, we stayed BEFORE 2 weeks ago and were given 4 welcome drink coupons. Our room was not ready at 2pm. After that, we found the hair conditioner was out.

Free shuttle from the airport late at night started our stay here. Everything about this hotel was excellent - the staff were without exception, the friendliest, most helpful and obliging I’ve ever come across. We stayed an extra night here because it was so comfortable. Lovely room, good restaurant, I just wish I had brought my togs because there was a heated pool! Highly recommend this hotel, very conveniently located near the airport.

Wir waren zweimal dort, bei Ankunft und am letzten Tag unseres Urlaubs. Wir sind um ca 1Uhr in der Nacht vom Airport Shuttle abgeholt worden und der Check-in ging zügig. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden sogar bis zu unserer Zimmertüre begleitet :). Wir haben bei der Buchung angegeben das unser Flug sehr spät ist und wir erst nach Mitternacht landen und gefragt ob das ein Problem wäre. Das Hotel schrieb wir sollten uns nach der Landung telefonisch melden, damit sie den Fahrer schicken können. Das hat reibungslos funktioniert. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und sauber. Bei der zweiten Übernachtung haben wir sogar zu Abend gegessen und wieder kann ich ein dickes Lob aussprechen. Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend. Das Zimmer groß und sauber, genau wie bei dem ersten Aufenthalt. Wir haben den Shuttle zum Airport genutzt und da ist mir was dummes passiert. Ich habe meine hochwertigen Kopfhörer im Shuttle Bus liegen lassen und es aber erst im Flugzeug bemerkt. Wir haben dann das Hotel kontaktiert und sie haben angeboten es mir zuzuschicken. Auch hier muss ich sagen das die Kommunikation mit dem Mitarbeiter super war. Wir waren schon in vielen Hotels, aber das Commodore ist das beste!!! Hier zeichnetet sich Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Service aus. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast willkommen. Wenn wir nochmal nach Neuseeland kommen, dann werden wir auch wieder das Commodore buchen.

クライストチャーチに到着後2泊　飛行機が欠航になった為もう1泊しました！迎えのシャトル車が始めの日少し遅くなって到着したためインホメーションが閉まっていてホテルと連絡を入れてもホテルは応答せず結局ウーバータクシーでホテル行った　電話がつかえないsimだった為！2回目に訪れた時はシャトル車に乗る事ができた！施設　空港に近いなど問題が無く快適だったがそれが残念だった！

Convenient hotel close to the airport and some eateries within a 10 minute walk. Bus to the city stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel staff was nice to give us some cash to ride the bus to the city and was adjusted towards the hotel bill.

Courtesy pickup to and from airport was a great perk. Take city bus 29 to city center for things to do and eat with no bus changes; no app needed and the bus driver takes cash. We like a bed not to hard and to soft, so we enjoyed several nights of good sleep. Solid breakfast offerings. Clean and attractive room and facilities. Only small complaint was the bathroom and shower door placement made for an awkward situation for two persons getting ready/showering.

The hotel is lovely.. convenient to the city center from a bus stop just opposite the hotel. Very generous and convenient shuttle to airport and vicinity. Fantastic service… Helena / Tiffany and others were exceptional. Thank you. The only teeny thing is that the great restaurant onsite is very limited in vegetarian options.

We wanted a hotel near the airport and chose the Commodore at random. Staff is friendly, hotel is nice, cleam and modern. My one remark is don't bother with the breakfast buffet, not worth the price (runny eggs and stale bread).
