We stayed in the family room and it was very spacious and comfortable. No lifts so carrying 3 large suitcases on 9 flights of stairs was a challenge. The cathedral was a very short walk away and there were other lovely churches close by. Very close to the train station too.

Go elsewhere. The only positive thing was location but there are other choices just as close or a few min further on. When we arrived there was no one at the desk for at least 10 minutes. When someone did arrive they were dismissive and unpleasant. Luggage store was a self serve open to the front door and given the lack of front desk staff, of questionable security. The room was shabby and bed didn't have a mattress cover. In such a high traffic area it would be a good idea. The smell was overwhelming, I know that old cities often suffer a bit of a sulfuric smell from drains but this was really bad. We had only one hand towel and no others. I went to the front desk and asked if when we got back from dinner I could get some. They assured me they'd be there and took our room number. Upon returning there were no towels and the front desk staff had only used ones to offer (ew) . Door lock was loose and the bathroom door handle nearly completely broken off. All in all this was my worst hotel stay just about anywhere in the world.

Hotel is nice. But there was no lift in the 2nd building of the hotel so i have to take the stairs to 5th floor. No glass in the room fo water drink.

Friendly staff at check in. No elevator and we had to climb 5 flights of stairs with 7 large suitcases and 2 senior adults. Heaters didn’t work. Most outlets didn’t work. Hot water didn’t work in one shower. Appreciates Bag storage after check out!

The location is perfect. Just a few steps from the train station and the cathedral. The room itself was spacious and had the essentials for a short stay. It is a bit strange to get out of the building to the street and enter another to get to the room (quadruple), and it's hard to climb 5 stories with no elevator with luggage, but for us the view to the San Andreas church and sound of bells made up for it. The keys didn't quite work, they need to change the system. There's a room to store your luggage in case you need it.

Gute Lage, um von dort aus Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um den Dom zu erkunden. Flur und Fahrstuhl etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Lady at check out was extremely rude. I was told I could leave my luggage safely in the hotel. Turns out safely for them means in a room without lock, completely open in the entrance hall outside of the reception and in front of the street and away from anyone’s eyes. When I return to retrieve my luggage there was now where to be seen in the reception area and anyone could have take my luggage and the rest of the customers luggage at any time without anyone winking an eye.

Location, location, location... but at what cost? Staying at the Boutique 003 next to the main station was a lesson in bittersweet convenience. Sure, you can't beat the train connection, but strap in for a bumpy ride into your room. Stairway to (unsatisfying) heaven: Forget elevators, my calves got a serious workout lugging luggage up four flights of creaky stairs. And the reward at the top? A door that looked like it hadn't been painted since the Berlin Wall fell. The "bathroom" was more like a Tetris puzzle of fixtures crammed into a shoebox. The only saving grace was the proximity to the station. Who should stay here? Desperate souls caught in a travel snafu, backpackers with masochistic tendencies, or maybe ghosts who appreciate a vintage vibe (and don't need mirrors or hot water). Recommendation: Pack some hand sanitizer, earplugs, and an Olympic-level stair-climbing champion as your travel companion. Otherwise, keep scrolling for hotels that don't require spelunking skills to reach your room. Rating: 2 out of 5 train stars (and even that feels generous)

Sehr einfache Unterkunft, Zimmer allerdings sauber und gepflegt. Aufzug nicht benutzbar, der Teppich auf den Treppen war schmutzig.Die Wände zum Nachbarn sind sehr dünn, also etwas lauter. Die Lage zum Bahnhof und Dom sowie Innenstadt sehr nah. Also Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr angemessen!

La ubicación es genial, limpieza , atención de personal , me tocó una habitación cómoda , los colchones y almohadas muy bien . A una calle de la central de tren y la catedral.

Weit unter den Erwartungen. Die Lage ist für den Preis sehr gut. Allerdings wird man von extrem stinkendem Hausmüll im ersten Flur begrüßt. Im Zimmer wurde das Bad nicht gereinigt und der Staubsauger ist auch schon einige Monate nicht mehr gelaufen. Im Bad, an der Decke und über dem Fenster findet sich dann letztendlich noch Schwarzschimmel. Nach Reklamation hat der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sich bemüht ein anderes Zimmer zu finden. Ich habe mir also einige Zimmer anschauen dürfen und micj für eines entscheiden. Da es in allen dieser Zimmer ein ähnlicher Zustand herrschte entschied ich mich für das kleinste Übel. Dort gab es den schimmel nur an der Decke und im Bad. Da wir in einer großen Gruppe mit 5 Zimmern verreist sind kann ich sagen, dass die anderen Zimmer genauso aussehen. Der Höhepunkt war dann wohl das Schimmelspray das nach meiner Reklamation im ganzen Haus angewendet wurde. Der penetrante Geruch hat sich wunderbar festgesetzt trotz der offenen Fenster. Dafür gab es dann aber noch den enormen Lärm von der Straße zum Dom dazu. Dafür kann das Hotel selbstverständlich nichts.

Es war leider sehr schmutzig , dazu kommt das die duschen nicht richtig gehen …

Hotel was vies en gehorig. Enige wat schoon was, was het bed. Schimmel op de muren, lekkage in de badkamer. Als de bovenburen aan het douchen waren, stond onze badkamer onder water. Verschrikkelijk stinkende afvoer, waar je amper van kon slapen. Wanneer je dit verteld aan personeel wordt er lacherig over gedaan. Ontbijt was geen 14,90€ waard. Weinig tot geen variatie. Locatie was wel goed, 3 min lopen van de Dom en 1 min lopen naar de metro.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt enttäuschend. Im Badezimmer befand sich Schimmel. Der Vorhang war zu klein, sodass von außen direkt in mein Zimmer geschaut werden konnte(vor dem Fenster ist ein großer Platz). Außerdem wurde ich morgens früh durch starkes Licht von draußen geweckt durch die Müllabfuhr und Einsatzwagen . Am Abend sollte ich die City-Kurtaxe zahlen, da der Rest bereits beglichen war. Am nächsten Morgen wurde ich in einem sehr unfreundlichen Ton erneut zur Zahlung aufgefordert, keine Ahnung ob ich jetzt zweimal gezahlt habe…. Insgesamt wirkte das Personal wenig freundlich. Zusätzlich roch es im gesamten Hotel sehr muffig und unangenehm. Insgesamt habe ich mich dort nicht wohlgefühlt.

Es hatte den Charakter einer Absteige. Fotos täuschen ein schönes Zimmer vor. Als Ablage gab es einen Hocker mit Flecken. Bettbezüge wirkten sauber, Bad einfach und sauber. Rezeptionspersonal macht mit freudlosem Blick keine großen Worte…ist unter ausländischer Führung. Dafür wird gerne vor der Eingangstür geraucht, was dann in den Treppenaufgang zieht und überall danach stinkt….das gleiche im bezogenen „Nichtraucherzimmer“…Qualm zieht vermischt mit Autoabgasen von der Straße ins Zimmer, wenn man Fenster für frische Luft kippen will. Lärmige, laute und viel befahrene Straße vor der Tür. Wo das „Boutique“ herkommen soll, weiß ich nicht. Hier gibt es keinen Glanz…Wandfarbe in den Treppenaufgängen und Etagen blättert großzügig ab und wirkt vernachlässigt und abgeranzt, teilweise gab es faustgroße Löcher in der Wand. Fazit: Kein Ort an dem man sich wohlfühlen kann. Im Gegenteil…schlecht geschlafen, da noch alte Federkopfkissen verwendet werden. Unhygienisch …das möchte man nicht labortechnisch überprüfen lassen…kann nichts Gutes rauskommen. Nie wieder.

Hotel heeft zijn beste tijd gehad. De foto’s zijn van lang geleden. Personeel komt twijfelachtig over. Kamers zijn erg klein, bed is erg smal. De kitranden zijn vies en beschimmeld. Douche wisselt in warmte. Locatie is top, midden in het centrum.

Nice hotel in premium location but the walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you.

This was the perfect location. the room itself was large, clean and we liked the layout with a separate bedroom. the hot water did not last long for showers, and the 4 flights of stairs was not desirable - the location to train station, cathedral, shops and restaurants made it a great stay.

Lock on the door from our room came of the door multiple times. Power outlet in bathroom doesn’t work and is lose in the wall. Mirror missing on room. Bathroom aged and in need of replacement. Room was fine. Expect the pillows very very soft.

The room is super tiny. No elevator in the building, so you need to walk up the stairs with your baggage.

Tiny single room and very noisy. One can hear everything from other rooms and people on the floor. The pillow is very thin and uncomfortable. But the location is good. Very close to central station.

The room we were given had a cracked tv screen and it was never repaired. Plus, the internet at the hotel never worked and that, along with the fact that the tv wasn't working well and wasn't a smart tv either, made it unpleasant to be at.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. The bathroom smelled strongly of mold and there was never at any point any hot water. There was also no refrigerator and the small security safe did not work. More seriously, though, there were security issues in the hotel that left us feeling unsafe. First of all, when we returned to the hotel after a few hours out, around 10:30 PM the door was unlocked, but there was no one at the front desk. After waiting for several minutes, we finally simply took the key to our room, which was reachable from the patron’s side of the desk. Between 1:30 and 2:30 AM, there was a group of men, apparently drunk, making a ruckus in the hallway: banging on the walls, yelling, tossing around the laundry carts, and turning on the vacuum cleaner (both the laundry carts and the vacuum cleaner were permanently stationed in the halls). Finally they retired to their room, which was right next door to ours, where the disruption continued for some time. Given the security issues that we had already observed at the desk, this made for a very nerve-wracking experience. I will say that the floors were clean and the mattress itself was firm. Given the other issues, however, as well as the excessive price, I doubt that we will be staying there again.

The room was clean and located close to the Dom and train station. We were able to store our bags safely in the luggage storage on arrival. There was an issue with our room which was sorted at check-in. I've rated staff service low because when we first arrived at 12.30pm a woman really rudely barked at us that check in was at 2pm before we'd even had a chance to speak. We'd literally only just walked in the door after a long journey. This was a really bad first impression for me. We didn't expect to be able to check in early, however, I do expect to be spoken to politely when I've paid for a service. Not impressed and I wouldn't stay here again.

This is your basic hotel if your looking for a convenient place within 5 min walk of the cathedral and the train station. Was clean and good. Front desk staff had huge issues checking in was a very slow process with a line of people out the door waiting.

Male at check in, extremely rude, place smellls like sewage. Seems like they are under renovation quickly for euro 2024. Broken washroom door handle, broken toilet button, broken washroom sink, leaking shower head. Place feels super unsafe, up all night because constantly sounds like breaking in. Super inconvenient door keys, almost didn’t get into stadium for euro 2024 match due to the large metal bar for key chain.

Die Unterkunft hatte eine gute Lage. Das war es aber auch schon. Personal kommuniziert nicht mit einem kein „Hallo“. Alles in allem nicht herzlich oder einladend. Zu Beginn fand man angeblich unsere Buchung nicht, nach ca. 10min brachte man uns ohne Kommentar in ein Hinterhaus, man übergab uns den Schlüssel am Eingang unten und ging. Ohne Einweisung etc. Oben angekommen fiel das Türschluss halb auseinander, es gab keinen Feuermelder im Zimmer. Der Boden war dreckig und mit Staub bedeckt. Der Duschvorhang war unten total gelb. An der Toiletten waren Flecken. Einfach schrecklich. Bei Konfrontation schaute man uns und nur fragend an. Wir haben das Hotel verlassen. Es kam keine Entschuldigung oder Ähnliches. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Very unfriendly staff.

It’s a nice place. I stayed in the new renuated part of the hotel. Checkinn very smooth. Chef is very nice & made special omlette for me for breakfast. Over all value for money. Location excellent 2 mins from koln HBF.

Hotel is in a good location, close to the main train station and river. However shops under hotel are noisy and often play loud music until the early hours.

Positives first: fantastic location and of course a good price. Negatives: the online check-in is all a bit pointless when you end up having to go through the whole process anyway on arrival. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that there was a better breakfast selection in the earlier hours, but you’ll be disappointed if you get up late. Don’t expect the room to look like the photos. Just a guide, if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep beyond 8:40 then the church bells will wake you up on Saturday & Sunday.

overall, the location is great being close to the main train station and the cathedral. the room itself was clean and comfortable. the area is kind of meh but there are a lot of dining options. overall, it was a great experience, the staff was very helpful. i would stay here again.

O hotel é muito confortável, a moça da recepção foi muito atenciosa. Somente dois pontos negativos: a TV do quarto não estava funcionando e sentimos falta de um espelho grande. No geral o quarto é ótimo e o hotel é muito bem localizado. Café da manhã bom. Recomendamos.

Hôtel situé en plein centre ville, c'était parfait. L'accueil s'est très bien passé, notre hôtesse à fait l'effort de parler français. Par contre, un petit déjeuner détestable, arrivés à 9h25, plus de pain, de jus de fruit et un accueil très désagréable. Lors de notre départ, accueil très agressif également. Rapport qualité prix est très correct. Un sourire sur le visage en plus et c'était parfait.

Un hotel muy céntrico, literalmente a pasos de la estación central. El desayuno es bueno y variado. Aunque la habitación es pequeña está bien equipada y cómoda.Recomendado.

Das Morgenessen war enteuschend.Hatte kein Brot für den Preis. Andere Sachen wurden nicht nachgefüllt. Die Dame war total überfordert.
