Love this hotel. Fantastic staff,service and housekeeping. Great location.Dog friendly. Rooms are totally good but thankfully reasonably priced and very clean and comfortable A room in the outer area ia fab for accessibility (no stairs,park in front of room) Also green area for dogs.

Good and reasonably priced Hotel with Great Food The check in was a quick and easy process. The room was a good size with a decent sized table to use my laptop on, good amount of power points, and with the decent speed free internet made it a very useful stop over. The shower and bathroom were good, but let down a bit by tatty worn painting work, along with the extractor fan not being hoovered out and quite dusty. The window opening and fascia above were tatty and quite dirty. Unfortunately the bed was squeaky when you moved, and wasn’t too comfortable. The food in the bar was very good, good portions, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff in the pub were friendly and efficient, and the service was quick, including bringing the food out to us. The room was quiet and had good views of woodland at the back, and was not affected by any light from the front of the Hotel car park. The parking right outside the rooms were great, peace of mind the car was visible and good lighting in the car park, making it a reassuring feeling parking the car. At the price point it was a reasonably priced stop over.

Absolutely spotless. Quiet too, woke up in the middle of the night, thought I'd gone deaf given the middle of the night noises from city hotels. Unspoilt view of the stars because of very minimal light pollution

I stayed here recently and felt that the room was extremely expensive for the standard. The room itself was ok, very basic but clean. The bathroom however was awful. Mould surrounding the bath, the curtain literally clung to you in the shower it was so flimsy. The bathroom was in very poor condition and needed attention in many different areas. The signage saying that the shower should be left to run for 90 seconds before use was an indication of quality issues. The room was very cold during the night and the weather outside was mild. I had booked the room as a lone female and the room was outside in a row of buildings. The door clicked all night and I have to say it did not feel safe. The bar food was ok and staff were friendly. I left early morning and won't be returning. I also felt like I had paid far too much and felt somewhat robbed. I was unable to raise concerns directly as had to leave to respond to an urgent situation early the following morning or I would have passed on my views.

Hotel was acceptable but needs money/time spending on rooms. Ours (31) had holes in the bottom of the bathroom door where it has been kicked, tiles are lifting and the skirting tiles were not finished. The bar is sparsely stocked but overall the staff were very friendly and the food - we only ate breakfast - was good.
