We had excellent service in the restaurant. We had a lot of issues with outlets- accessibility and function; several didn’t work or were so loose that the cords couldn’t be held in place. The pool was closed during our stay. For the cost (higher than most nights due to the concert) it should have been functional in the space. The service we had was excellent tho, so would stay again.

The staff was fine. The room was okay. The parking was horrible and I can't believed that the Westin charged an EXTRA 39.90 PER NIGHT to park. I was not informed of this EXTRA charge until I checked in. Even then, I thought it was for both nights, not EACH night! I cannot believe I paid 542.62 for TWO nights at an, at best. 3 star hotel. NOTHING at this hotel impressed me enough to ever want to stay there again. Overpriced and inflated reviews. Very disappointing.

The rooms were nice and clean and staff was very friendly. The only downside was the underground parking - be aware it is very tight and low for anything bigger than a standard size half ton, and there are very limited spaces for pickups on the tallest level. If I would have known ahead of time, I would have opted for parking elsewhere, but I had pre-purchased the underground parking for my stay.

The rooms were nice and clean and staff was very friendly. I’m giving a low score on cleanliness because the pool area was disgusting, hair floating in the pool, clumps of hair on the deck of the pool, a set of fake eyelashes on the deck of the pool. Our room was very nice though.

Room was dingy and not very clean, dust and hair everywhere. Didn’t provide slippers and only 1 robe. Had to call for the robe. For the price they are asking you should expect luxury but this was motel quality. Would not recommend.

Lobby area very enjoyable, friendly accomadating staff. Great breakfast. Room good but dusty table lamps, vents leads you to wonder how clean is everything. Electric plugs not conveniently placed. With saying this I will be back.

Unfortunately, the buffet breakfast food, every single item hot item was cold. The eggs were cold. The sausages were cold. The hashbrowns were cold. All the hot items were cold, except for the toast, which I made myself. Lol. The staff were good. The room was clean. Both receptacles on both nightstand table lamps were unusable. I run an electrical contracting company and we have a contract with one of our five star resorts in our city, and these electrical items would not be tolerated at our resort. I don’t like giving bad reviews to places as that’s too easy to do. But I have to give constructive criticism where it is due, and those are issues that you could improve on.

We enjoyed our trip and stay at The Westin. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, in the same Hotel we stayed at then. The room was nice, the staff was very friendly, and the Hotel itself was clean and smelled fresh. Our room was noisy though, lots of loud voices between the rooms, and the people staying above us, had kids , that appeared to be jumping off the bed lots making it very loud in our room.

Check in was a disaster, phoned at noon, one of four rooms ready, told the other 3 would be ready at 2. Get there at 3 and they have given away the ready room and told it could be another hour before there are rooms. Got a call after we left for the mall to say they were ready. Check in is 3 pm, I think we should receive some type of gift certificate or credit if the hotel can’t honour the 3 pm time, and they gave away my room !!! Not happy at all.

Wonderful staff. Had an upgrade for joining membership. Lovely treats brought to room. Had issues with tv and serviceman was sent up right away. When issue couldn’t be resolved, we were moved to the next room with no issue. Very accommodating 👌

The staff service was attentive and professional but the building is showing its age..there were water stains and dropping plaster from my ceiling. But worst is the downtown area - it is completely unsafe as soon as you step off the property. Confrontations with people high on drugs /with mental illness were routine including by a person armed with a metal rod. As a single female I would not stay here again because it felt extremely unsafe as soon as I was off the property.

The staff service was attentive and professional but the building is showing its age..there were water stains and dropping plaster from my ceiling. But worst is the downtown area - it is completely unsafe as soon as you step off the property. Confrontations with people high on drugs /with mental illness were routine including by a person armed with a metal rod. As a single female I would not stay here again because it felt extremely unsafe as soon as I was off the property.

Hotel is located in a great location - lots of places to eat and things to do in the immediate area. First impressions are great - beautiful lobby, kind and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean, but looking a little tired and in need of a refresh.

Thank you for making the effort to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The homeless and drug users in Edmonton are truly tragic. They are everywhere around this city and seems there is nothing the hotel staff and or law enforcement can do and as a result, it makes this area feel unsafe and somewhat scary to walk around the city.

Property was nice but the parking was really inconvenient. Downtown Edmonton has gone down hill over the last few years and having to walk several blocks to get to the hotel with all of our stuff was very far from ideal. The hotels outdoor parking lot was completely full and the underground parking lot was not tall enough for our truck to enter which is disappointing in itself. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant Saturday night and were seated in the bar, the menu was extremely limited. I’m talking like 7-ish things and this was really disappointing as my boyfriend was planning to order a steak which wasn’t on this “game night menu”. The waiter we had was also rude and asked if i was “ok” because I simply misheard something he had said which wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t mumbling. Not worth the $90 we spent to eat there.

Unfortunately, the buffet breakfast food, every single item hot item was cold. The eggs were cold. The sausages were cold. The hashbrowns were cold. All the hot items were cold, except for the toast, which I made myself. Lol. The staff were good. The room was clean. Both receptacles on both nightstand table lamps were unusable. I run an electrical contracting company and we have a contract with one of our five star resorts in our city, and these electrical items would not be tolerated at our resort. I don’t like giving bad reviews to places as that’s too easy to do. But I have to give constructive criticism where it is due, and those are issues that you could improve on.

I went to have brunch on Sunday morning. Went to the restaurant at 11:05. They told me they were closed. I said really. It doesn’t make sense. Why do you have a restaurant if it’s not open. Then she says to me that they open at 11. I double checked my watch and sure enough it was after 11. I reminded the person of this. She gave me a snotty look. She said she would check with the chef and see what they could do. Came back and told me one item on the menu that he could make. I said, never mind I’ll go somewhere else. Not what you expect from a hotel like this. All in all pretty good I would say though.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Banff... and while it was fine, I'm not sure it was worth the $500 price tag. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful... that said, the hotel itself is just old. Our room smelled musty (especially if the AC was on) and the carpet was peeling up with a whole line where the carpet had been unraveled and you could see the underlay.
