Stayed here many times. So handy for gigs at the Hydro. Check in was quick and complimentary biscuits and juice at lobby. Car park was £10 for the night, safe and secure. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Didn't do dinner but breakfast was included and was full buffet and continental. Food was warm and good choice. Check out was a breeze. Room for me and my son was a good size with view of the Clyde. The room was clean and very quiet. Well equipped with safe, fridge, kettle etc. Enjoyed our stay and will always use to attend concerts. Quick stopover in Glasgow. Good location, especially for the SEC. Parking was ok for £10 and the hotel was clean, tidy and convenient. Breakfast was as you would expect and overall I would stay again. There are lots of choice of hotels in Glasgow that are decent so they all have to be on point, I stay a lot with work in the City and would stay in this again if the price was where it needed to be.

Had an excellent time staying here. Staff were really lovely and hotel felt homely, comfortable and relaxed. Great little restaurant and terrace on site but also close to lots of cool places like the Sky Bar, Finneston etc. Cute wee gym on site too, somewhere to burn off all the extra calories haha.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room itself was a decent enough size, however I felt the cleanliness could have been a bit better for a Hilton! Bedding and towels were clean, however the shower has small bits of hair on the side of the cubicle and there was splashes of drink on the walls! I think for the price of the room this shouldn’t be happening.

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Very convenient for attending an event at the Hydro. Good breakfast, their vegetarian sausages at breakfast are yummy. This stay our door didn’t lock when closed as you could open it from the outside. This was quickly rectified. The room has a mini fridge which is fab. Apart from the inconvenience of the door not working on arrival we only had one other downfall. The roll of extra toilet paper had obviously been sitting for a while and had some black mould on it along with around 10 little bugs crawling on it. We didn’t need extra toilet roll and didn’t notice it until the morning of check out but was a little disappointing and has made us look elsewhere for our next stay in a couple of weeks time.

I was given room 223 initially, right behind the lift shaft and i could hear their movement. I'm a light sleeper so asked to be moved. There were no issues with this and i got a key to room 229 a little further along the hall. This room was fine. It was clean and tidy but starting to show it's age with scuffs and marks here and there. Very handy for the OVO and about a 30 minute walk along the riverside into Glasgow centre.

This is a functional, no thrills, hotel that is situated close to the big venues in Glasgow, and not too inconvenient for other areas (motorways and big arenas are in the way of other parts of Glasgow). Whilst our stay was comfortable and the rooms were clean, they were on the smaller side and the hotel does not give off 4-star vibes, and probably more of a technicality more than anything else.

We couldn’t get a table at the restaurant as they were very busy as expected. So you can order room service but collect from the main bar area. So reception said we can have a drink and then collect from the bar to take to room. Told bar person and he said I will give you a shout in 10 minutes your orders in. 30 mins later I went up to the bar and ask where the food was. He said are you room 108 I’ve been trying to call you. ? Food was stone cold. No apology we had to get over to the ovo hydro for a concert. So charged £35 for 2 stone cold meals wasn’t happy at all. Thanks Ian.

This was our second visit here. The main reason for coming back was the room comfort and the great breakfast. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we received 2 free drinks vouchers on check in, which was a nice surprise. Waiting staff were really lovely and the evening food was great. The one thing that lets the hotel down is the reception staff. These are the first people you meet upon arrival and they are just not welcoming. First impressions do make a difference! No smiles, or a “how are you?” We weren’t even asked how our stay was and if everything was ok, when we checked out. We left feeling a bit deflated after our celebration. It’s such a change from the Radisson Red across the road.

Stayed on Saturday night as we were going across the road to see Elbow. Check in was no problem, but a small queue at the bar too ages to clear and then we tried to book dinner and were told no. We said we had been told on the phone that we could book so the girl got another member of staff who also said no, she in turn got another staff member who eventually said we could dine at 5.30pm which suited us fine. When we sat down for dinner there were plenty of empty tables and was much the same by the time we left. The waitress was excellent but you did seem to have a shortage of staff. Room was tidy and clean.

Private function on the day of arrival, therefore restaurant and main bar was closed. Room set up to provide a small menu, tables not numbered, no condiments on tables , staff unsure what arrangements were. Hotel could have emailed clients to forewarn the restaurant was closed. Customer service was poor.

Staff were exceptional. This hotel is in the perfect location. It’s right next to the OVO hydro. It’s a lovely walk along the Clyde to the city centre.

We couldn’t get a table at the restaurant as they were very busy as expected. So you can order room service but collect from the main bar area. So reception said we can have a drink and then collect from the bar to take to room. Told bar person and he said I will give you a shout in 10 minutes your orders in. 30 mins later I went up to the bar and ask where the food was. He said are you room 108 I’ve been trying to call you. ? Food was stone cold. No apology we had to get over to the ovo hydro for a concert. So charged £35 for 2 stone cold meals wasn’t happy at all. Thanks Ian.

This was booked last minute, during a very busy weekend in Glasgow and Edinburgh, due to being let down with our previous booked accommodation not being available. The price was better than most of the other hotels and in my opinion, very reasonable. The hotel was clean and tidy, as were the rooms. The staff were very nice, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent although, again only my opinion, the tatty scones were just slightly over fried. Plenty of option for everyone’s tastes. It only takes 20 minutes (approx) to walk to Central train station or a £7-8 taxi journey. My partners only gripe is that they didn’t have a hairdryer in the room however as she had her own in the car, didn’t ask at the reception if they had any. We were very happy with this hotel and will definitely think about staying here again the next time we are in Glasgow.

Nice clean hotel, good location. Was told breakfast was until 11.00 but was actually 10.00. We turned up at 10.10 so no food left. Lovely restaurant manager got us a full English made. Very good of him, was appreciated.

Can’t fault the hotels location if you’re going to the Ovo, staff were great and the hotel was lovely and clean even if the rooms were a bit dated. Couldn’t get a table so phoned a domino’s so be sure to book if you’re wanting one. Alcohol is pricey at £16 for a gin and lemonade and a pint of lager. Our room overlooked the river which was nice. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could want from cereals to full cooked. All in all a pleasant experience.

Automatic service charge for restaurant which I don’t agree with only because I like to tip direct to the staff and I want to choose what I give, rather than be dictated what the tip will be. Food was tasty and breakfast was great. Extremely expensive Bar. Hotel great for OVO events, the room wasn’t as clean as I’d expect. bed comfortable and checked this was clean but pillows caused bad nights sleep. Room was adequate for use. For all iv rated quiet poorly in some areas, I possibly would still book again due to proximity to the OVO Hydro and the exhibition centre station.

Room was fantastic, had been decorated since our last visit and looked superb. Excellent view over the Clyde and very comfortable bed. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be breakfast, had to stand waiting for 20 minutes for food to be filled up so big queues built up. Plus extremely annoying was after 10.30am door was knocked on several times and then this lady entered our room at 11.15am thank goodness we were dressed and ready to leave at that point. Check out time is 12 pm so why they trying to get access before that time?

I stayed in Hilton which is on the riverbank of River Clyde. It was a pleasant stay, friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast. I recommend Hilton, it is on walking distance restaurants and cafes on Finnieston area and of course nice boulevard walk to center. It is in post industrial surroundings, for Glasgow used to be shipbuilding industrial hub. Natives are friendly in Glasgow and local beers in local Pubs are great value and fun. I recommend Hilton Garden Inn to anyone who wants to enjoy Glasgow.

Check in and check out speedy and efficient. Staff friendly and helpful Didn't use the facilities or bar/restaurant, have done before and both were good. Room 523 with a king bed made the room feel small, and with what I'd describe as a random wardrobe incthe room(looked out of place). Bathroom was tiny, although has all the necessary facilities. Hotel is conveniently located.
