The social hub is an awesome place to enjoy a restful evening while traveling! I love its thoughtful setup, such as laundry room, rooftop. bar, pool table & table tennis table, etc. Highly recommend social hub especially you are travelling with family!

They seem to have thought of everything, from the fantastic design in evidence throughout and the lovely, comfy bed to the coffee machine in the room (+ shortbread) and a packet of pollinator friendly seeds on checkout. Also, a shoutout to the nice wee gym.

Great location in the city centre, although the low emission zone means driving to it is impossible!

It was a nice and clean place on the inside other than the half the elevators did not work.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The staff was friendly upon arrival and gave us a sweet treat. The facilities were perfect. There was so many extras including a pool table, ping pong table, restaurant and more.

Liked the fun, hip vibe and the super cool rooftop bar.

Great Location, lovely rooms, 24hr gym, laundry room, nice cafe, great coffee. It has such a friendly vibe. I would stay here everytime in Glasgow without a doubt.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and all I can say is WOW! The hotel is exceptionally clean and new. The rooms were too but not as big as some may need but my wife and I, it was perfect. The best part of this place is the staff. They were all so welcoming, helpful and truly made you to feel that they were hosting you in their own home. Shout out to Jonathan and Luca in the bar but everyone was fantastic! Should you decide to stay here, I'll give you one piece of advice. The hotel address is no where near 15 Candleriggs drive. Not being that familiar with the area, nav took us to the wrong side of the hotel. Took us some time to find the entrance. There is no parking on site but there is a parking garage one block away that the hotel offers a discounted rate if you ask for it. But overall, I'd stay here ANY TIME I'm back in Glasgow. It's within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, attractions and shopping.

It is a very convenient location and it is beautiful. Their check in process makes you put in all of your information and create your own swipe cards, so it depends if you like that or not. We unfortunately did not have great service in the restaurant - the waiter incorrectly entered our food, so we received a lot of extra food. It was not included on our bill, which was good. We were woken up to the hotel fire alarm at 6:15 am on a Sunday morning where we had to evacuate, but I guess that could happen anywhere. There was not much information given at the time about why this happened. Lastly and most importantly, our hotel room door did not shut easily - the third morning we arrived back to our room after a full day of touring around and the staff had not closed our door after cleaning. We were very upset about this and the staff did not seem very concerned. Thankfully nothing was stolen, but it could have been bad.

Overall nice hotel and nice (signature room) clean room. Breakfast was good. However, bed sheets and towels did not smell clean and fresh.

The hotel was a very nice style and the room was a great size. Ground floor shared facilities were great. Downsides were the room was not cleaned at all during the 3 night stay (returning back in the evenings to find the rooms still not cleaned), room was very dusty in the soft furnishings and bed, and the sound proofing wasn’t very good - my room was near the lift (room 433) and I could hear the lift announcement from the bed (‘going down’ etc) and the slamming of the staff entrance / cleaners cupboard next to the lift. With ear plugs, I had a great sleep still, but I didn’t have them the first two nights and it was difficult to get a full nights sleep. The value of the stay was still very good regardless of this, but improving housekeeping and addressing some of the soundproofing would change this from a decent place to stay to a great one.

I think it could be better for the prize. There were hairs in the bath. My room was looking at a parking lot so I could hear people and I had to keep my curtains closed all the time as I could very clearly see people walking to their cars. The hotel concept is lovely but for the price of the room I expected a bit more.

The location was wonderful for me, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The room had everything I needed, and I felt the cost was quite reasonable. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. The staff is extremely friendly.

Nice clean comfy room

The room was very clean and the hotel is located in a great central area.There were supplies for a nice cup of tea/coffee in the mornings and complimentary shortbread cookies! It’s self check in/out but the staff are around to help if needed. I really enjoyed my stay, I would come again.

Talked with several people from the reception during my stay, except for one girl who’s warm and polite, the others were very lukewarm, passive and even dismissive, quite contrary to my experience with the locals. Shelves in my room were covered with dust and no coffee machine, which was a bit surprising to me having stayed at one of their properties in another city. Also I left something in my first room and somehow it could not be retrieved after I changed rooms, despite several attempts at the reception and even running into the head of house keeping and explained everything to her. Is it really that hard or simply nobody cared.

Great new hotel, the lounge area is great to hang out in and plenty of space. Rooms are comfortable, mine could have done with a dusting as you could visibly see the dust on the surfaces. Breakfast was a buffet and very good. Location is very central, would recommend and stay again.

Room clean, big bed and nice toiletries to use. Room not specious and lift was difficult to use.

Good location without lots of street noise. The room was quite small but well-equipped, good for a short break. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Only minor comments would be that it would have been nice to have a fridge, and the room was quite dark.

A Modern and Lovely, Yet Compact, Stay I recently stayed at the hotel and had a very positive experience overall. The rooms were lovely, clean, and beautifully modern, which made for a comfortable and stylish stay. A particular highlight was the clever inclusion of a sink within the main room. This was incredibly handy for making coffee without having to go into the shower room, a small but thoughtful design touch that I really appreciated. The only drawback was the size. Both the main room and the shower room were quite compact. While manageable, it's something to be aware of if you have a lot of luggage. Additionally, the shower base was a bit slippery when wet, so extra care is needed. In a nutshell: A great choice for a short stay if you prioritize modern design and cleanliness over spaciousness. Just mind your step in the shower

Super clean, cool and comfortable stay. Breakfast excellent. Only downside is lack of reading lights beside the bed, but I guess nobody reads books anymore (except for me).

Overall stay was okay. The room walls are too thin you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next door. Numerous nights we were unable to sleep because of the noise! Also we hated that the room where right opposite a multistorey carpark, so we had to keep the curtain closed at all times unless we were not in the room. We felt the room was quite dark, even when the dimmer was on the brightest setting, we felt the room was still dark. There was no fridge / freezer in the room which we prefer in hotel rooms.

Very modern hotel, nice & clean, the bed was so comfortable & it was so quiet, one of the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time!

Confusingly Hotels.com showed a Signature room on confirmation not the Executive room booked. Executive room is a misnomer and does not merit Exceptional rating. Air con not working; no reading lights,curtain could not fully close.

Great location, fast check in with no fuss. In very good condition. We had a quiet room with air con that worked well and wasn’t noisy. Lots of social options. Noisy music from floor 8 but we were far enough away for it to trouble us. Lovely signature room with really comfy bed and pillows…zzz…

I found customer service very unprofessional and not very helpful

Overall pretty average, at best. Kinda disappointing. We started off by going to get our keys from the self-service desk. We’d checked in online, as per their email request. Midway through the check-in/key coding process, a staff member came over to stop what I was doing and basically redo it for me. To be clear, they literally redid everything we had done. It was really weird and almost like someone was trying to justify their job, or tick a box to say they’d “helped a guest”. Only after going back and doing everything I had done previously, where we allowed to be handed our keys. Confused, my wife and I headed upstairs to the room, where we were greeted by a door lock that looked like it had been previously forced. However, it was functional, so we continued into the room. Bed was ok. Mattress probably needs swapping out. One of the light fixtures was hanging from the ceiling, and inoperable. Not to worry, however, we could use the other lights in the room. We were on the sixth floor, so it was a little too warm. Upon inspection, none of the windows opened but there was an air-conditioning unit in the room. Unfortunately, however the controller didn’t move the temperature down to a level that we could deal with. This led to a restless night of overheating and broken sleep. Then, as we were checking out the next day, there was a fire alarm test which had not been mentioned at check-in. Not a massive deal but the jump scare was the cherry on top of a bland sundae.

Honestly, 10/10 - every member of staff was so helpful, always playing good tunes and just a great vibe to it. Said it before but the staff are brilliant, seem happy to be working there and it shows. Hotels a gooden!

Spot on location right in the heart of Merchant city. For a hotel the bar prices are comparable with any bar around.The food in the hotel is also excellent( we ate and drank downstairs not sure about the sky bar ).Really friendly staff and only too willing to help.

Check in was disorganised chaos. We didnt get many towels in the room + any requests for additional/fresh towels were met with language barriers/laundry issue excuses. Loads of noise from adjoining rooms as theres zero soundproofing with the industrial concrete ceilings/floors. Great location but we wont be back.

The staff are outstanding. They eased me through the online check in process and advised about the surrounding area. A minor problem with the room card was fixed quickly and efficiently. Can’t praise them enough!!

Wonderful accomodation, staff are super helpful and nice. A great relaxed atmosphere and such an amazing array of residents. Will definitely be staying here again

Nice hotel, geared more towards a younger clientele. Easy 15 minute walk to the concert venue I was attending. Didn’t sleep well though- pillow was too soft I think, and woke up with sore neck. Automated check in wasn’t working properly, but very helpful staff were on hand. Would stay again, but only if I could arrange for a more supportive pillow to be available.

New hotel, good concept. Excellent staff and perfectly located for the Merchant City area and also for the Barrowlands if you’re attending a concert. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Close to the center of town with all that entails, with a surprising diversity of people; close to all transportation options; a genuinely warm and caring staff. The staff was exceptional in every area - except for dining in the evening. The wait seemed protracted. Otherwise no complaints. We enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was very poor. Most dishes were not even warm,the scrambled eggs had a lot of liquid in the serving bowl. Products not made available ie bagels,butter at times. I would definitely not ever use any Social Hub hotel ever again. .

Central location, friendly staff, great bar. Really liked the place a lot. Would stay here again next time I’m in Glasgow and would also look at their hotels in other cities. Check in was smooth and friendly. Room spacious and comfortable with a really good shower. One niggle - not sure why the wash hand basin is in the room rather than in the bathroom - design or space saving? Slightly too quirky for me. Had food in the snack bar which was very tasty and reasonably priced, again staff were great. Cocktails in SiSi were fantastic and a really good vibe in the bar.

The staff were all friendly and professional. Best ever breakfast for vegans! Huge well done for that!

What a wee gem . Did not know what to expect as hadn't booked here before. Was pleasantly surprised with size of the room and quirky layout. Beds were extremely comfortable and blackout curtains welcomed. The breakfast selection was amazing best I have had even compared to big hotel chains. The staff were amazing also with a welcoming smile courteous and evident that they enjoyed working there.
