Kings Park Hotel

Decent, comfortable bed, shower and room. Staff were very friendly. wifi was fast and had a good signal. My only gripe was the hotel seemed to have functions on every night and it would get a bit noisy as the evening wore on. Maybe need better soundproofing. Plenty of free parking. Food was excellent especially the Scottish breakfast.

Great location with plenty of parking. Upstairs restaurant looks recently refurbished and nice choice of breakfast items. The bedrooms require updating and mine did not have a mirror in the bedroom. Suggest if booking at a weekend to request a room not over the function rooms as these can be noisy. Or take earplugs. Staff all helpful and polite.

The downstairs of the property was lovely, clean and looked newly renovated however upstairs in the rooms was not. The room and bathroom did not feel clean and was very tired looking. A lot of wear and tear to both the bathroom and bedroom, it was not an inviting atmosphere. It was also not made aware on Expedia that the hotel rooms were on the first floor and that there was no lift which being a wheelchair user was not ideal but the staff were helpful and kind. There was also a football event which we were not made aware of meaning a lot of noisy drunk football fans in the building which could have been unsafe.

Decent hotel stayed here many times . Good carpark . Room cleaned daily and coffee topped up bed made . For some reason they never topped up empty toilet roll the last 2 days of my five day stay . Came in after 12 shift and had to go to reception . They sorted it . Apart from that £65 quid a night with no toilet roll it was fine . I will return again .

Compliments to both bistro and kitchen staff for great service during family celebration dinner. Reception staff first class. Comfort overall adequate throughout. Ideally placed as a base for a visit to the greater Glasgow area. Only issue that may face you is all accomodation on 1st floor and no lift (that i am aware of) also a few steps from reception area to the bistro. Building is a typical 1960's built hotel.

Very happy with the meal i had on steak night. Disappointed with the 9pm bar closing and having to leave the bar area and sit in reception to finish my pint! - Never come across this before in a hotel.

Ants in hallways next to restaurant. Skirting boards in room dirty, wall dirty very run down hotel. Needs Alex the hotel inspector as it could be a beautiful hotel given time and effort

Staff great, rooms a little basic but spotless, breakfast was fantastic. Definitely value for money.

Very unclean room - dirty marks on all walls, bathroom dirty and mould on light fixture and ceiling. Bath had white tape to cover gaps of where it had obviously been leaking. The bed was old and could feel all the springs in the mattress. £133 for one night in the condition it was very very poor.

Wouldn't stay here again if they paid me. The person on reception when we checked in was not interested in talking to us, just handed us a key and a piece of paper with limited information. The room was the worst I have ever stayed in. There was mould growing in the bathroom and rust on the toilet roll holder which had rubbed off on the toilet paper! There was a bulb missing from the bathroom. There was a very odd top on one the taps, obviously couldn't be bothered to find a matching one. There were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe - 2 hangers for a 2 night stay for 2 adults! The room was cold and we couldn't get the radiator to work so we went and spoke to the person on reception. Apparently the heating was on a timer! So in the middle of winter you can only have the heating on when the hotel thinks it's appropriate! Never heard of this before, never been cold in a hotel before. Lots of spiders webs in the restaurant, obviously not been cleaned properly in a while. There are 4 function rooms in the Kings Park nightclub, sorry Hotel. They are far more interested in the people using these function rooms than the guests staying in their bedrooms. On the check in paper it stated any functions/music would be finished by 12.30am but it was still very loud after 1.30am. Then the adults from the functions were laughing and shouting in the corridors, and children were running around squealing well after 2am while guests were trying to sleep! So not much sleep for us!

We also found a crumb of food up by one of the pillows when we pulled the covers back on the first night. Things just didn’t feel especially clean or comfortable. It did the job for a few nights, but I would not personally go back again. However, it was cheap, in a fairly safe area, close to local amenities, and you get what you pay for.

Dated hotel, dated furniture , cracked tiles, toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet, carpet held together by sellotape , oh don’t expect any sleep before 1am on a Friday or Saturday night . And finally , none of us were interested in cleaners holiday plans etc , but they were happy to loudly discuss outside our rooms early in the morning .

Really inexpert / shoddy maintenance. The first room I was given had a toilet that didn't flush and the shower was just a dribble of hot water. The second room had a functioning toilet but the shower hot water pressure was very low. In both rooms the standard or repairs / maintenance was worse than DIY! What a pity. The staff, food, parking and decoration in the public rooms was all very good.

The hotel had three seperate parties running in their function suites that night. The noise from guests outside the hotel was absolutely insane, it was honestly like being above a nightclub 👀 I phoned to complain just after 11.30 and told that there's not much they can do since the function rooms are open until 1am.

The room was cold heating wasnt working, also the tv remote would not work, i complained and after trying to sort the tv remote he gave us another room.

The noise from the function suite was awful, reception desk right beside function suite with so many drunks. Facilities in the room very poor, shower head wouldn’t stay up, toilet seat was broken, paper holder was broken. Taps very difficult to adjust temperature for shower. Generally very poor and noisy hotel.

Definitely NOT updated. The foyer/lobby area has been refreshed with new decor/carpet (probably in the last 2-5 years), however the rooms are straight from the 1980s, with the room/ensuite in dire need of renovation. Plus, when you book a double room, the last thing you need is a spare bed you didn't ask for cramping up the little space you have. The staff were very friendly and helpful at least!

I want to write about my stay on 9th October 2023, I was going though a very difficult time and needed somewhere to stay for the night, I am writing to say the the staff on duty that day where very supportive, When I was having lunch, I was upset and the member of staff on at that time was a gentleman called Gary, he took the time to come over and ask if I was ok, even though I didn't go in to detail about what was wrong, the fact that he approached me to make sure I was ok was very much appreciated, Then at night when I was having dinner the girl that was on that evening in the restaurant done the same, I was struggling and again was approached by this female member of staff (sorry I didn't get her name) and she asked if I was ok, again I didn't go in to detail, she then approached me again later on and asked if I needed a glass of water, I appreciate both of these members of staff and can not thank them enough, the fact that the approached me to make sure I was ok is something I will never forget and this hotel should be very proud of their staff, All I can say is Thank you

Fab location as we was going to celtic park 10mins drive. hotel very clean rooms a little dated. Fantastic staff nothing was to much trouble. Fab price 😁 A little pub with pool table and music so dont have to adventure to far. A newly refurbished restaurant we didng eat in but looked beautiful. Spent one night then moved to a hotle in the city center (wished we never ) would definitely co.e back

The staff were really helpful and sweet with offering a fan and hairdryer. All staff were very friendly and sweet, had conversations with restaurant staff whom helped with restaurants, areas to visit etc.. The room itself was really good and clean! Bed was honestly very comfortable. Shower was clean - Saw reviews regarding the hot water, but with my experience I had no issue with hot water. Tv worked perfectly. I loved how the bed room itself was separated from the main door, felt much more safer and secure. Check out was easy and simple. But, booking ubers and taxis to this hotel do take longer so recommend doing 10mins before hand. Overall, Thank you to the staff here.

Myself and my husband stayed 2 nights whilst visiting family and it was in an ideal spot. The staff where friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated however did the job. The cost was very competitive. I would stay in the Kings Park Hotel again
