This hotel is located in a great area of downtown Halifax. The only negative comment I have is that the elevators are slow and there is only two so if a bus comes in with a bunch of people checking in, it will take a while to get up to your floor.

Overnight date night downtown and this hotel was perfect. Very clean, beds are very comfortable, friendly staff and 5min walk from Durty Nellys & other bars/restaurants and 3min walk to waterfront. Only con is pool isn't overly big and water was cold. Hot tub would have been nice but those things are minor and we would stay hete again.

The property is under construction- awoken at 8am by drilling. Had to walk around painted doors and spilt paint. The pool was small and had some debris in the water. Great staff- but maybe wait until construction finished?

The Sheraton provided convenient parking but was an additional $30+tax. The hotel has a bright and spacious lobby and our check-in was quick and early. A lovely member appreciation snack was provided in our room of a couple of fresh strawberries and macarons. The room was clean, attractive and quiet with eco packaging of soaps and lotions and recycling receptacles. Enjoyable stay!

It was okay. We went to the pool 5 times and all 5 times there were no towels. When we called to ask for some we were told about 10 minutes and they rarely showed up before we left. The staff was nice, hotel is clean and convenient for downtown/waterfront but overall okay.

Room was excellent stayed 5 days. Serviced daily very clean and no noise faced the courtyard. Breakfast one day was ok but plenty of options in area. Great location close to all amenities and boardwalk. Travelled with a small dog and was provided a regular room and not a ‘pet’ room which typically aren’t in good condition in many hotels even though they charge extra. So this made the visit excellent. Would recommend.

Was automatically upgraded to a suite which was a very nice perk. Room was quite large clean and modern! Unfortunately there was water pressure issues which made having a shower difficult and when I went to use the jacuzzi black gunk came out when I turned it on. Obviously it hadn’t been used/tested/cleaned in quite some time. After showing the pictures of the black gunk to the from desk they removed the charge for parking and apologized. Overall it was a good stay but could have been better.

Hotel is well situated to enjoy the waterfront in downtown Halifax. Easy to get anywhere by walking. The pool was not enjoyable. Went with my daughter, food was on the floor. Pool area didn’t feel clean - we left. Also, shower in our room was very poor. Low water pressure, almost none. Only 1 elevator functioning, super long if you are travelling with stroller and cannot use stairs. Plus, stairs do not bring you to the lobby, they bring you to parking lot (which is fine). Overall was okay but will not book here again.

Overall the stay was fine, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was spacious (thanks to the complimentary upgrade) and mostly clean however the corners of the tub surround and wall tile grout could have used a more thorough scrubbing as there was pink bacteria present. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Due to temp and humidity differences between outside and inside, the deadbolt would automatically stay on which made it cumbersome to leave the room without some clever rigging. High humidity inside the room had the sheets always feeling damp, Which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.

Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Rug had not been vacuumed prior to our stay as evidenced by the popcorn on the floor and papers under the bed. No vanity amenities provided (shower cap, etc.) Appreciated the 2 bottles of water, though. Check-in was difficult because there was no place to park. A larger sign by the entrance to direct you to the next door garage which leads to the hotel lobby would have been helpful. Good lication clise to the waterfront.

★☆☆☆☆ This hotel needs a crash course in customer service—starting with management. Great location, friendly front desk. But none of that matters when you can’t sleep. The A/C in our room sounded like a diesel engine. We kept turning it off for silence, but the room would get hot and unbearable, so back on it went. Waking our teen, packing up, and changing rooms wasn’t an option at that hour. The next morning, I asked for a refund for just one night. The manager refused. Said Expedia bookings couldn’t be refunded—which Expedia confirmed isn’t true. When Expedia called, the hotel claimed it was a central air issue affecting the whole building, and that maintenance had been called. So they admit there was a problem… but still won’t issue a refund. I even asked other guests if their rooms were that loud. They weren’t. The manager then offered a free night—which is pointless since we don’t live in Halifax and won’t be back. Now he’s ignoring all emails. Also: front desk told us parking was $30. Sign said $20/day. We were charged $80. Thankfully, the front desk staff stepped up and covered that. If sleep, honesty, and follow-through matter to you, book somewhere else.

The location of the Four Points is excellent and the hotel is fine, if basic. My complaint is really with the shower and more specifically the lack of water pressure. They installed water saving faucets but the pressure is almost non-existent and having four people stay and try to get ready for a night out was a bit of a nightmare.

Location that it’s in is very handy for walking around. It’s also across the street from budget and Avis car rentals, so that’s a plus. The rooms are dated and ours wasn’t very clean, and the hallway on the fourth floor left a lot to be desired.

I don’t think I have been to a hotel with customer service as great as this. We had an issue with the wifi not working which eventually required changing rooms but the staff did everything they could to find and correct the issue before having to move. When we did end up moving they came to help us and made sure we were comfortable in the new room. The hotel was $$ as it’s right by the waterfront but I feel it was worth the $$ for sure especially being so close to the water and the great customer service. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant both mornings of our stay (not included) and the food was great. Would def recommend staying here if wanting to be close to the harbour.

This hotel is in a great location and very easily walkable to the waterfront area. There are lots of restaurants nearby and it was actually quite quiet. We had some issues at check-in but we're comp'd a breakfast for inconvenience. Oddly, we ended up with meeting in center of room to replace a phone that had been presumably taken right after we got in our room. Assume there was a miscommunication and the maintenance guys were super nice but still kind of annoying when you're trying to settle into a hotel room. The jacuzzi didn't work which was too bad because it might have made up for the lack of air circulation that was compensated by a small fan called a woozoo. Not what we'd expect from a hotel of this caliber and at this price. The breakfast was fine enough all the little bit difficult to find in the hotel. It works for what we needed but was an expensive place to stay considering the quality of our experience.

Remon and the rest of the staff at the front desk were possibly the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. The people cleaning the rooms were also very friendly and did a great job at tidying up my room. Location is also perfect.

First time at a Four Points Sheraton! This one is 1 block from the Halifax waterfront. Convenient to get to my work trip location. Walkable distance to my other 2 locations that I oversee. Staff at the front desk were very friendly on both check/in and check out. Would definitely stay again!

The location of the hotel is perfect as you can get to the waterfront within 5 minutes. There is a market near the hotel as well. The only downside is the breakfast as it is not an open buffet. The swimming pool was hot and large enough. My wife and I were satisfied.

Hotel is great. Love the location in the city. Just parked the car and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Clean room, comfy queen beds, fit our needs nicely. Only thing we didn’t like was the hotel restaurant. Went there for a quick drink. Entire restaurant smelled of old fryer oil. They were out of the wine we ordered and what we got instead was fairly poor. Experience sent us elsewhere in search of breakfast the next morning. Thankfully there’s a wonderful breakfast spot directly across the street. Would highly recommend staying here for a day exploring downtown Halifax

The hotel restaurant was lovely and the food was great. The location was perfect—right by the waterfront with lots of dining options to explore. Our room was clean and spacious, which we really appreciated. The only downside was on our last day there was no toilet paper in our room, and even the main floor bathrooms were out. Aside from that, we had a very good stay.

We couldn't find a parking spot one day and then our key wouldn't work. These things happen but the guy on the desk gave us a free breakfast. We had gone to breakfast the day before and it was excellent. When we went for the "free" breakfast it wasn't good at all. Sorry we did this as we were going to go out somewhere else for breakfast and were sorry we didn't.
