This is an excellent hotel located by the station and opposite the best brunch - Mutterland! We had a great stay but my only complaints were that our room was quite dark in the top corner of the hotel and not as spacious as suggested in the photos. Other reviews previously stated the €10 fee for the sauna is waived if you are a Hilton member but this is not true and the hotel is no longer part of this chain so paying €10 each for sauna access per day is very expensive when other hotels include this. Only other criticism was coffee pods not clearly labeled and no milk in room for this. Overall a very comfortable stay with good facilities and it is excellent value for money so I would stay again but would ask for a different location room and if expecting to use the sauna be prepared for the charge

Beautiful property, nice rooms, good service, perfect location, a bit of noise from the other rooms, but nothing excessive. Only downside was the hotel recommendation to park at Parkhaus am Hauptbahmhof. Very narrow access and spaces, rude staff and non-transparent and extortionate pricing. Please find another place to send your guests.

Great hotel at a convenient location. We did not try the breakfast as it was too pricey for us non-breakfast enthusiasts. Everything at the hotel was superb, but the spa was a disappointment. I would hesitate to call it a spa. It has two saunas and two showers, and some lounge chairs. Not even a hot tub. But you can book a massage, so that’s a nice option. And it costs 10 euros per person to visit the sauna. But I guess it depends what you are expecting when you hear spa.

Hotel is in a good location opposite the main station. Room was quite small but functional and clean. Good shower. Our room was ready on arrival which was handy. Two major downsides for us: 1. There is nowhere to sit in the lobby unless you are ordering from their bar. We had returned from a day out with a coffee and wanted to sit and chill for 10 minutes but were told (quite rudely may I add) that we had to return to our room. I've never had this at a hotel before, and as said above the rooms are small. 2. The area around the hotel is pretty sketchy at night so we wanted a drink at the hotel bar after dinner. Unfortunately we were told the bar was full and that they would not find a space for us. Again I have never had this issue with a hotel bar before and the waiter was very rude. A shame because otherwise the hotel was nice but I would not stay there again.

Schon beim Betreten der Lobby war ich begeistert: Wunderschöne Blumenbouquets und edle Details sorgten für eine luxuriöse Atmosphäre mit einem Hauch von antikem Charme. Alles wirkte sehr hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der Empfang durch das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich sofort willkommen fühlte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen – frisch, vielfältig und ansprechend präsentiert. Auch das Zimmer überzeugte durch Sauberkeit und Komfort. Besonders angenehm war zudem die gute Erreichbarkeit des Hotels. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Hotelerlebnis, das ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen kann!

Hotel is great located 2 min walking from the central station. Lobby is very nice and big with cafe/bar. I got to the hotel at 12.15. Was checked in right away which was nice. I had requested a room with a bathtub in my booking, but the reception didnt mention anything about my request and I didnt get a room with a bathtub. The room was standard size. Very cosy and modern room with Tea and coffee and a king size bed. Only negative thing was the view from my windows, which was pipes, walls and 3 other hotelrooms, with windows 2-4 meters away facing directly to my windows. It was a pitty because i had to use the curtains all day to have privacy.

Really good hotel, only negative was room needed a fridge, i dont drink hot drinks so unable to enjoy a cold drink in our room. My husband doesnt drink coffee so we had to ask for a kettle for tea. This came within 15mins. Overall would recommend this hotel, even though it is VERY close to the station we didnt have any noise problems.

Fint ophold i centralt område af Hamburg. Hjælpsomt personale og morgenmaden var god og varieret. Værelset og resten af hotellet svarer til billederne. Det ville være dejligt med et lille køleskab på værelset. Udsigten var til et lukket skakt område med andre vinduer tæt på men i det mindste var der ingen trafikstøj!

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Hauptbahnhof, so we didnt have far to walk our heavy luggage. Reception in the stunning lobby was welcoming, friendly an efficient but the standard room we booked bore no resemblence to the photographs. It was a tiny attic room with inclined walls which made it uncomfortable for a tall man, like myself. Even my wife who is petite constantly bumped her head when getting in and out of bed. On a more positive note the breakfast buffet was excellent value and it's hard not to be impressed by the charming lobby and restaurant. In summary, not the best value for money and in my opinion not a 5 star experience. It paled by comparison with an earlier stay at Frasier Suites at the same price point and arguably in a nicer part of town.

Mega dejligt sted. Mega centralt, god morgenmad - dog lidt ubehagelig oplevelse med personalet i receptionen, som var overbeviste om, at jeg manglede at betale en del for mit ophold, som jeg havde betalt - og som de til sidst gav mig medhold i. De gad godt nok overhoved ikke lytte til noget jeg havde at sige. Jeg blev derimod bare ignoreret indtil de fandt ud af at jeg havde ret… når det er sagt var alt andet i top:)

Good location just by the train station. Clean, newly renovated bathroom and comfortable bed. Only minus was that there was no one in the reception when we (and several other guests) were to check in. We had to wait for almost 10 minutes for anyone ti show up.

We had an unfortunate check-in experience where the clerck made us wait quite some time as if he really was not interested in loggin onto the systems and receiving us. Besides the poor English he spoke, he also gave us a room that was occupied so that we had to carry our luggage to a room where another family was staying. Despite this, when we were finally checked-in, we got a nice room (family suite) that was large and spacious and nicely decorated. The location is very central so there are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance.

Frühstück 1a, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, gute Betten. Das Zimmer war etwas dunkel. Die zentrale Lage am Hbf hat Vorteile, gleichwohl durch die dortige Szene auch Nachteile. Aber dafür ist natürlich nicht das Hotel verantwortlich.

Excellent location next to the railway station. The station is not however a place where you want to be after dark. The rooms were quite big, especially the bathrooms. Hotel was really clean with a good breakfast. It could get quite crowded but there were plenty of tables. Perhaps the only downside was that you weren’t allowed to sit in the lobby at the Emil bars table (without buying something), even though its tables occupied most of the lobby area.

The staff is incredibly serviceminded. Room was ok, but hardly a 4-star experience. It was very basic, especially considering the hotel is considered to have a "luxury profile" It\'s across the street from the central station, so it\'s very busy and loud on the weekends. We also saw countless people sitting on the street outside smoking crack, so I would absolutely not recommend this hotel if you\'re travelling with children or solo-travelling as a woman.

Sehr gute Stimmung beim Ein- und Auschecken. Faszinierende, teils denkmalgeschützte Innenarchitektur in Foyer, Bar und Restaurant. Zimmer mit Blick zum Innenhof, der eig nur ein Lichtschacht ist, aber bei nur 1 Übernachtung zu vernachlässigen. Beim Frühstück kam das Personal mit Auffüllen (Brötchen, Geschirr) und Abräumen nicht hinterher.

Super beliggenhed. Overfor Hauptbanhof , men på den trygge ende), og mange Cafeer, restauranter i nabolaget. Sengen var virkelig behagelig og det var dejligt at få en karbad når man har gået rundt i flere timer. Morgenmad buffet var lækker, og selv om lidt dyrt, så var der et godt udvalg, god kvalitet og jeg blev så mæt at jeg ikke havde behov for at spise frokost. Jeg kommer helt klart tilbage

The staff in the bar was amazin, so friendly and open minded. The rooms was very very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was also really good, they made your eggs as you wished. Overall one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Hamburg. Definitely coming back for my next worktrip

Værelset var rent og pænt. God størrelse. Hotellet er pænt og her rent og gode faciliteter. Vi kommer hvert år og har været her mange gange. Morgenmaden er der ikke godt plads til i buffet eller ved bordene, der er for få når hotellet er fyldt.

Dejligt hotel som vi benytter næsten hvert år pga. flot lobby, lækre men lidt små værelser, og god beliggenhed. Forbedring: som guld medlem af hotels ville det være dejligt at få lidt ekstra. Hotellet sender information og ringe tilbud på tysk inden ophold. Morgenmad var f.eks. Billigere at købe på hotellet. Engelsk er at foretrække. Der var alt for mange til morgenmad. Vi fik anvist et bord op af trappen med bar borde og langt fra buffet og stemning var ret kedelig der. Oplys om gode parkeringsmuligheder ved check-in tak.
