From the minute you walk in, you are well looked after. The reception team were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. We had an excellent room over looking the front street, fabulous location, only a 2 minute walk into town. Hotel exceptionally clean and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend if you are coming to Harrogate.

It’s tired and resting on its laurels a bit, staff aren’t great and the whole place is in dire need of a refresh it’s pretty awful these days sadly

Overall great stay, staff were super helpful. Our room had air conditioning which in the heat had a god send!! Pre booked parking was easy to locate. Only issue was that there was no tea or coffee in the room but I had brought some with us so it didn't really matter.

The room was small and VERY VERY hot. The staff supplied some fans, but they just blowed the hot air around. Just outside the window were the fans for the restaurant downstairs, so there was extra heat and smells coming from there. By the morning the temperate was ok, but it was an uncomfortable night and not a nice place to spend any time

I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable.
