Beautiful room and comfortable bed with a view. The room had no table or chairs to sit at to eat meals. The bathroom had no hooks to hang clothes. Towels were not luxury, quite small. There was also a tear in the daybed by the window.

It was amazing. The cottages are very cosy and in close proximited to the beach (walking there isn't possible but gives a descent view). They are clean and at night you may witness some wild life outside. Inside the cabin is great with all amenities but no wifi. If you want a break from social media this is alright so plan accordingly. There is mobile network with weak signals so it isn't total disconnection.

Good cabin, was quite hot so ensure you draw the block out curtains as we couldn’t get the aircon to work other than heat. Toilet flush needed lots of coaxing to turn off the water. Pub had good food which is a bonus but defenitely book as they were always ran off their feet!

This place was nothing like the photos. It was very small but clean and new. We had to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink because there was no actual kitchen. The rubbish bin was a small plastic container. The checkin instruction were not clear. You had to checkin at the bar of the hotel. Wouldn't stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay of one night here. A cabin located above the main road. It has a beautiful view looking across the water. Local wallabies come and visit. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice to have a kitchenette to cook in. It is missing a larger pot though. And the place could have used some dusting and additional vacuuming. And needs screens in the patio doors. Bed was very comfortable. Easy check-in. Overall 8.5/10

The photo is not of the units we stayed in. We were in the new units behind the hotel which incidentally serves great food. The units are well set up and extremely comfortable and clean. The beds are king size and comfortable. We slept well and woke refreshed. The fa cilities are modern with a walk in shower. You could not ask for more.

Staff and locals friendly. Hotel Bruny is pretty much the only place open on the island for dinner, so it helps their menu is decent. Motel room is a breath away from the pub, but still quiet. Well appointed, modern, and clean. Good base to have your adventures from.

This accommodation is very modern, clean and spacious. It is also within walking distance of the hotel, where meals can be purchased. There are also views from the large window and there is a landing where to sit and take in these views. There is parking outside the door and the unit is well appointed with cooking facilities but the only small draw-back is that there is no table or chairs.

Room was clean tidy and the staff at the adjacent hotel, which is the only place to eat , were great. Unit was close to the road, but fortunately traffic was sparse. Could hear the unit next door though. Fine for a overnight stopover, one of the little cabins would be a better choice for a longer stay.

Misleading when accommodation was booked. Thought we were staying at the hotel Bruny but we were sent nearly 2km away to a cabin in the bush. This needs to be communicated. Cabin was very average too.

A glorious spot on Bruny overlooking D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Fabulous for sunset. The Bruny Lodge was perfect for our two night stay. Pub is close by for great meals. The accommodation was clean and very quiet. Would highly recommend

Great, albeit basic, motel unit right on the waterfront at Alonnah, & only a few metres from the Bruny Hotel’s excellent restaurant. Perfect location from which to travel around Bruny for a few days. Thanks to minimal ambient light, the night sky is spectacular.

We were offered an upgrade and who would decline. The accommodation was closed to the Hotel Bruny so handy for grabbing a meal, however the accommodation was a completely different style and layout than we initially booked - a studio. I had hope of a more comfortable seating area to relax and unwind on an evening, but only really had a couple of wooden stools, a bed and window seat. The bed was comfy and the accommodation was very clean and modern.
