We have stayed here a few times when visiting family. As always, the staff have been delightful. The pool is lovely. The room is well equipped and very comfortable. We will be back.

Overall comfortable, Breakfast was good, Spa was ok , the jacuzzi was out of order. The food & drinks were not great in the restaurant. should shandy be fizzy? Mine was flat , when I pointed it out and it was taken away I was told bitter is flat! The bitter Also looked more like larger in colour pale, I was charged for the one taken away. Coffee machine didn’t work, got a replacement quickly, The room was comfortable, The spa treatment amazing. I would go again but not eat in the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel& friendly staff. The pool area was lovely we didn’t want to get out! Please keep in mind this hotel has lots of members who come for a swim daily - and does get crowded, most of the time all ok though! We moved rooms as someone had requested ours on the second night - but we didn’t mind as we got a fresh clean room! Staff are amazing in the restaurant and everyone has a smile on their faces. Thankyou for a wonderful time!

We stayed with our 4 year old son, when we got to the room there was a small rob, slippers, travel set of shampoo etc along with juice and a couple of extra treats for him. It was a really nice touch! The room was plenty big enough for the three of us. Breakfast was great. Only thing I would say is that parking is fairly expensive and the extra fee to use the pool is disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay

The hotel and spa are lovely. Staff were great, rooms are a good size & spa is well equipped. We attended a tribute night which was great fun. Wouldn't book again via hotel.com as it wasn't clear that there would be additional charges (spa & parking) Raised this with them but got nowhere.

Amazing stay for the wifes birthday - spa is really good we go to a lot of spa breaks but this is up there with the bedt food was excellent and really loved the outdoor terrace area for a drink.- a massive thanks to Skye on reception who gave us a warm yorkshire welcome and made sure our stay was the best.

Overall a good stay especially for the price we paid. Suggestions to management for improvement are: • Cleanliness of pool area wasn’t great with rubbish littered about the deck chairs and loads of empty glasses • Telephone calls weren’t answered on several occasions especially when we was on the way to the hotel and wanted to confirm we would be late checking in • I wanted a larger robe and mentioned this to several staff who weren’t helpful or knew if this was possible • 24 hour room service is advertised however not available as it has been stopped But as mentioned, great value overall minor improvements would excel customer satisfaction further.

Dont know where to start! There was a feeling of u safe in the property from when i parked my car in the car park to when I entered my room. If not that i was tired and arrived at night, id have left for another place. Staff were not welcoming at all and spoke as though not interested in their job. I ordered dinner to my room and it came uncovered having travelled a far distance from the restaurant area where i ordered it from- how grim!!!the plates looked old, uninviting and dead. The room was tattered, with mouldy and rusty walls. The moment i stepped into the bath for a shower, the curtains and rods fell. Everywhere looked irritating with a rusty sink which i couldn't brush om And there was a foul smell in the room that made me feel sick. Bathroom had a sticker that says slipper bath and they did nothing such as provide a math to protect you! The room door had a sticker which said lock your door which told me that i easnt safe- i prayed to God for protection that night and come morning, i said a prayer of thanksgivung and ran out skipping breakfast, ofcourse!

payed for a 1 night stay in a premium room that was not cleaned properly and the buffet breakfast was a shambles i queued for 15 mins for a hot breakfast when i prebooked a time for the breakfast only to be told on arrival at the hotplate that i needed to preorder my poached eggs at the table. There was not notice of this and the breakfast staff service was shocking

I have stayed here a few times and will keep coming back with friends and solo. The rooms, common areas and spa facilities are always spotless. The food (albeit more on the expensive side) is delicious and fresh. Room service is available or dine in restaurant options. Most rooms (if not all) come with a shower and bath, with The White Company toiletries for use during the stay. All the staff have 5* customer service, whether it be front desk, breakfast waiters or cleaning staff. The hotel itself is private and tucked away from busy Leeds and makes a perfect escape. It is easily accessed by car and especially by bus making it low budget transport option if traveling from within Leeds. I always book 1 night but truly it is never enough to indulge in the hotel. I would prefer having more of a tapas style breakfast rather than only 1 main plate and unlimited starters. Options to have several main plates per person would be good as they are small. Cheaper food prices and a larger room service menu with again more tapas style options would go down a treat.

Booked through your site, easy. Thorpe park very welcoming, didn’t expect to pay for parking. Room fab, apart from drippy tap and dirty net curtains. Gym and pool was packed, no seating available. Restaurant food was amazing and so was breakfast. Staff very polite and attentive.

Very quiet, comfortable room which was extremely clean. Good range of toiletries and drinks in the room, milk bar a great idea. All staff courteous and friendly. There was a wedding on which didn’t disturb us and when checkout got busy due to this lots of extra staff appeared to manage the desk. Very well managed will stay again

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending an event locally and it was excellent, we particularly liked the availability of fresh milk and cold water at the end of the corridor. We also ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again!

A very good hotel but let down by the awful wi fi that kept cutting out and was extremely slow.Nowadays access to the internet is a must and this was one of the worst I have experienced

This place has some of the least consistent internet in a hotel I've seen anywhere in the world. Same experience both times- 1st day internet works great, 2nd day, no internet at all. Quite an inconvenience when you have work to do. I'm told they're working on having a fix by June 2023. Besides that I had some trouble with air conditioning/heat in room both times as well. Shower head in my room not working properly. The good: Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was quite nice.

This hotel is great, a little tired and rooms are in need of some refurbishment. Rooms can be noisey when the hotel is busy. Dining options are restrictive if you want a simple bite to eat, we dont always feel like some fine dining after a long day at work. I am really dissapointed that given the premium rate charged for this hotel, breakfast is £17.95, Parking is £12 and to use the gym is £15. So depending how you book allow for an additional £45 to your booking. My recommendation would be to book through Secret Escapes, free breakfast, Free parking, free gym and free bottle of prosecco.

Lovely stay. Food was great and gym is probably the best equipped gym I've experienced. Rooms were well equipped and most importantly we'll soundproofed. Only downside is having to pay for parking and spa facilities but guess if you don't need them then it cuts the cost so not a big issue. Staff were also great

Very quiet, comfortable room which was extremely clean. Good range of toiletries and drinks in the room, milk bar a great idea. All staff courteous and friendly. There was a wedding on which didn’t disturb us and when checkout got busy due to this lots of extra staff appeared to manage the desk. Very well managed will stay again

Me and my daughter stayed and we loved it. The children’s spa dressing gown & slippers with activity colouring set was a lovely touch for my daughter. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant staff. The spa is great for families and accommodating for children. It was perfect we had an amazing night so thank you again for the amazing service!

The hotel itself was really lovely, however I had a bad fall in the room down a step that had no warning of it, I have very badly bruised legs and arms. Told reception next day and the girl who although very nice just said “oh dear” no record for accident book or generally caring. I emailed manager but have ha no reply which is very disappointing

The staff at check in etc are good - and facilities are fine - but service in the bar is consistently poor. We have stayed several times over the last 4 weeks and have not once been served without at least a 10 min wait - even if there is hardly anyone there. There is no overall bar manager, just a handful of inexperienced assistants trying to do their best. A 4 star hotel should sort this out and put someone in place with responsibility for making sure the bar is properly serviced.

Arrived to a very poor check in lady with a chip on her shoulder. I had stayed two weeks earlier and had booked through Hotels.com. Lady seemed annoyed I hadn’t booked direct so proceeded to tell me I would have to pay for parking and for use of the leisure / spa facilities. This would add £30 to my stay. This never happened two weeks ago. She didn’t tell me I had to book dinner so arrived to be told they were full but they managed to squeeze me in. I will not return.

Amazing stay for the wifes birthday - spa is really good we go to a lot of spa breaks but this is up there with the bedt food was excellent and really loved the outdoor terrace area for a drink.- a massive thanks to Skye on reception who gave us a warm yorkshire welcome and made sure our stay was the best.

Overall a good stay especially for the price we paid. Suggestions to management for improvement are: • Cleanliness of pool area wasn’t great with rubbish littered about the deck chairs and loads of empty glasses • Telephone calls weren’t answered on several occasions especially when we was on the way to the hotel and wanted to confirm we would be late checking in • I wanted a larger robe and mentioned this to several staff who weren’t helpful or knew if this was possible • 24 hour room service is advertised however not available as it has been stopped But as mentioned, great value overall minor improvements would excel customer satisfaction further.

I have stayed here a few times and will keep coming back with friends and solo. The rooms, common areas and spa facilities are always spotless. The food (albeit more on the expensive side) is delicious and fresh. Room service is available or dine in restaurant options. Most rooms (if not all) come with a shower and bath, with The White Company toiletries for use during the stay. All the staff have 5* customer service, whether it be front desk, breakfast waiters or cleaning staff. The hotel itself is private and tucked away from busy Leeds and makes a perfect escape. It is easily accessed by car and especially by bus making it low budget transport option if traveling from within Leeds. I always book 1 night but truly it is never enough to indulge in the hotel. I would prefer having more of a tapas style breakfast rather than only 1 main plate and unlimited starters. Options to have several main plates per person would be good as they are small. Cheaper food prices and a larger room service menu with again more tapas style options would go down a treat.

Quality hotel with excellent service and friendliness. Very clean and comfortable. It suited us for its location due to proximity to where we were visiting but the area isn’t the best. Overall, would visit again without any doubt. Had to book breakfast time which didn’t have much availability - 8, 8.15 or 10.45am on a Sunday. Breakfast though was quality offering and service.

Hotel was 4.5 star as great facilities room and staff. We had evening meal and breakfast and good quality food and service. Super pool gym and spa made it a special stay. Also very convenient location near M1 junction yet still peaceful site.

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending an event locally and it was excellent, we particularly liked the availability of fresh milk and cold water at the end of the corridor. We also ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful place, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if need be in the future BUT!! Service was very poor, very slow, 45min wait for food, the restaurant was pretty cold too and the drinks and food expensive, £2.75 for a handful of Japanese rice crackers! Improve the above and I’d happily recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.

Overall comfortable, Breakfast was good, Spa was ok , the jacuzzi was out of order. The food & drinks were not great in the restaurant. should shandy be fizzy? Mine was flat , when I pointed it out and it was taken away I was told bitter is flat! The bitter Also looked more like larger in colour pale, I was charged for the one taken away. Coffee machine didn’t work, got a replacement quickly, The room was comfortable, The spa treatment amazing. I would go again but not eat in the restaurant.

Hotel was superb, really comfy bed, well equipped room. Breakfast was table service and had great selection. We had spa day, the treatments and lunch and cream tea that came as part of the package were fabulous. Had dinner one night and although busy we were happy sitting listening to the live wsinger who was very good.

Was a fantastic stay, perfect place. The only.thing that wasn't as good as last time we stayed was the dinner menu. Was a bit boring really and the service can be a bit slow, not really sure why as plenty of staff on so ? Not the worst thing in the world, instead of a dessert I went to the bar and got a cocktail!

From friendly reception staff to the bar and breakfast staff it was a great stay overall. Large hotel rooms with sofa bed, tea and coffee facilities with the bonus of water coolers and fresh milk on every floor for your stay really nice touch. Breakfast was as good with a full buffet selection and a few special items to order a la carte style. Beautiful hotel would recommend and stay again when in the area. Thank you all.

A bit of a disappointment. We have stayed here many times before and were looking forward to our stay which we had booked with our club card vouchers. To use the vouchers we had to book through a third party site. On arrival we were made to feel like second class citizens by a receptionist who told us we would have to pay extra for the car park and the spa if we wanted to use it. We were told the car park would be refunded if we spent over £20 pp in the restaurant. This was a massive faff in the morning as we hadn’t taken a receipt so were sent back to the restaurant to look it up! We then found there were no robes or extra towels for use in the spa. The lovely staff at the spa apologised and said we should have but they were often missed by housekeeping. They said they didn’t have spares there and to ask at reception. The receptionist initially told us we couldn’t have them as we had booked through a third party (again!) and grudgingly got some when I said the spa had told us we should have had them, The spa was very busy and there weren’t any spare loungers or chairs but the was a separate room with daybeds in. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which was overpriced (£10 for 3 prawns which had been victims of shrinkflation! & £30 for a steak without any chips or sides and an extra £4,50 per sauce!) we also had 2 drinks - a glass of wine and a beer and the bill came to £117.. The breakfast in the morning was very good and they catered well for different tastes.
