This is an older hotel. It’s a little rundown, the water pressure was low, barely warm. They only give you one key, which can be a hassle if you’re traveling with someone else. But the location and the breakfast until 10 AM was good and the price was right. OK for a night or two.

The staff was helpful and accommodating however our room was not pleasant. We were able to move to a slightly better room but it was only somewhat more tolerable. This place needs updating and the pool is not a pool for use.

Es segunda vez que elijo este hotel, lo que más me gusta es su ubicación. El establecimiento es un lugar antiguo pero que se mantiene en buenas condiciones, siempre muy limpio. El personal también es muy amable. Lo único que mejoraría es el tema del desayuno que hubiera un poco más de variedad y deberían realizar una mantención a la piscina y gym para que se viera más agradable a la vista.

Staff and cleanliness: The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and a good place to stay after your day out. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, however, is because the rooms are a bit outdated and I was expecting the breakfast to have more options. It wasn’t a buffet, there were 2 options to order, american or continental.

It's a shame to say it, but the truth is that the hotel needs to renew everything in the bedroom. There were fleas and the curtain was very dirty and had a nauseating smell.

The hotel had extremely thin walls. The room smelled of mildew. The bed was stained and hard. For a know ng size bed we were given two lumpy stained pillows only. The shower was nearly inoperable. The hot was scorching, near burning and was pretty much impossible to adjust properly. The pressure went from full blast to a trickle over and over. I could hear the elevator running all night long. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring. Our room was near an apartment roof that's was very noisy.

Black mold nearly choked us out of the building... in fact we should have left. Spent all day out just to stay out but black mold in curtain blinds and maybe the bed too. Breakfast not open until 8 and could not even sit in room for coffee. Front desk staff were amazingly helpful.

Booked two nights, stayed the first night and didn't stay the second. This hotel is absolutely horrible, my room smelled so bad that I couldn't sleep the first night. The building needs to be renovated or torn down. What a shame to see such a horrible listing on hotels.com Stay away from this place!

Just a basic hotel (I would say 3-stars) which was ok for us since all we did there was just sleep, we were out touring all day and left the hotel early in the mornings and returned late in the evenings. Staff tried to be helpful as much as possible. On our first night the AC was not working (we checked in around 1:00am and checked out before 7:00am) and there was no other room available so we slept with the windows open. We returned a few days later and got a different room with a working AC. Location is quiet and within walking distance to many attractions (especially the tourist info center where you can sign up for a number of different walking tours). Breakfast was reasonable with a few variety of foods and juices, enough for us. Will I stay there again? Probably.

The staff was so incredibly amazing. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Francisco, Ociel, Erica, Joanna, Gabriel, Alfonso and the cleaning staff. I had the best time staying at the Embajadores. And the main reason for this is them. They are the kindest, most friendly and professional hotel team that I have ever had the privilege of staying with. I would highly rate this hotel, and definitely stay here again! Sure there were a few minor issues, such as the loss of hot water for a few days, however that was no big deal. I am truly grateful for such a wonderful trip and a delightful stay. Expedia hotel is horrible. They charge you for everything you cannot bring family members to your room. You have to see in the lobby they charge for everything is terrible. I talked to a lot of American people there. They all very upset. You guys always do this to me for $1000. Next time I get an apartment so sad.

Very easy to get to everything. The ocean is just a minute or so away, stopping in the other direction. We walked from this hotel to the Water Fountain Park and back. Lots to see and do. The bed was incredible in my room and the shower was hot. The gentleman that works in the restaurant is very kind. Today at breakfast I saw that he made a special effort to give a treat to a child. Overall great experience
