The room was very comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was great. The property is slightly removed from the busy areas of Aguas Calientes so I didn't find it to be noisy. The staff was all very friendly as well. The best amenity is that they will meet you at the train station with your bags so you don't have to carry them up the hill!

This is a good hotel, and our room had a fantastic view. The only reason for our bad review was related to two things. First, we had to have maintenance to our room twice, first because the remote control for heating did not work, and then the safe stopped working due to bad batteries. The second thing was that when we wanted advice on how to best find a guide for Machu Picchu, the woman in the reception recommended their trusted service with a Local tour operator. But she said the guide was not fluent in English and the guided tour was to last one hour - for this she wanted 75 USD. Luckily we knew that s normal guided tour is 2-2,5 hours and it is not possible to backtrack, so we did not go with this. We would have appreciated honest help and information from the hotel staff instead. We found a great guide for 2,5 hours, with good English skills, and for less than half the cost at the entrance!
