Facility was charming in an old fashioned way and I might stay again. The area is perfect next to Hyde park. But it felt a bit run down. The heater in the whole building was broken in a way I had to report rather than it being reported and solved for me (which it was, once reported).

Let’s just say it’s not going to be somewhere I stay ever again. I politely asked the hotel to fix the fan in my room as it sounded like a diesel generator, the tap which had dripped all night and the shower which unless it was on boiling hot made a banging noise, nothing got fixed. The room had food stains on the wall, the decor in the hotel is old and worn, etc. The staff I spoke to were nice but for the price I paid the value was significantly lower than I’ve experienced in London and I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that were far better.

Front desk was not secured at night, we had a “delivery” person ringing our doorbell at 1am insistently. Was told free breakfast, but not accurate. While the rooms were large and spacious and bathrooms semi-updated, everything is very dated, windows not secure, very creaky floors.

the staff were lovely but the hotel needs a lot of TLC. Very old and tired and needs to be completely redecorated. Good location for walking to Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Mayfair etc. Just very disappointed that the rooms had not been. Redone in many decades. It looked quite worn out.

The 2 bedroom suite, for which we paid an extortionate price, was dilapidated and filthy. The kitchen and bathrooms were filthy, grimy and mouldy. The carpets were filthy and the walls were stained. Couldn’t even remove our shoes. Nothing luxurious about it.

I’ll just say, you get what you pay for. This is a more affordable hotel for the area so I didn’t have crazy high standards. But there was hair in the shower, a used cleaning rag on my dresser, and the room was very dated and not in a good way. I think the hotel just needs some TLC. I hardly saw staff while I was there, but they were friendly enough I suppose. The pro is that this is a great location within walking distance to a lot, but that was about it.

Old tired room in the attic. Aircon was good lady in reception was busy discussing an online complaint when I checked out so I left it at that. Cut my leg on the corner of the sink tiles, after a long day it was a bed the night porter was helpful.

This is an alright hotel if you are on a budget. Very small rooms, not enough space to keep your luggage and walk. The first room had smell of smoke, so I asked it to be changed, and they did. The second room had a bit of odd smell too, mixture of sweat, and cleaning chemicals. The rooms I had was on top floor with slanted ceilings, which ate into the size of the room. Overall, traveling from the US where we are used to big sizes, the room felt quite clastrophobic. This is not just this hotel, but I guess London in general.

I loved that this was a true, English hotel. It’s decorated very elegantly, with a very warm atmosphere. I would like to emphasize, though, how small the single room is. It’s super, super small. It’s basically a closet with a twin bed and a tiny, confined bathroom. If you’re truly not bothered by confined spaces, it will work. I asked to change rooms right after check-in. Just a heads up. The double rooms were lovely!

We had an amazing stay in London. Mostly due to this hotel. They were very accomidateing to my special needs(on crutches) on thy fly at check-in. The staff is super friendly and welcoming-not sure where all the few negative feedsbacks came from. We will stay again and we also will recommend to friends and family.

Facility was charming in an old fashioned way and I might stay again. The area is perfect next to Hyde park. But it felt a bit run down. The heater in the whole building was broken in a way I had to report rather than it being reported and solved for me (which it was, once reported).

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and room are beautiful! Would definitely stay here again! Is a short walk to many dining options plus sites to see. Also close to the Marble Arch bus stop.

Amazing stay. Room 8. The staff where amazing. So so helpful. Andreas at reception was fantastic. Loved the feel of the hotel and so near Oxford street. Highly recommend.

the staff were lovely but the hotel needs a lot of TLC. Very old and tired and needs to be completely redecorated. Good location for walking to Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Mayfair etc. Just very disappointed that the rooms had not been. Redone in many decades. It looked quite worn out.

Beautiful English hotel. Not your typical chain hotel setting our rooms. Very close to Oxford St and Hyde Park. Highly recommend

A hotel right in the centre of London at a reasonable price and with a great service. the room was nice and large for a hotel room in Central London.

Front desk was not secured at night, we had a “delivery” person ringing our doorbell at 1am insistently. Was told free breakfast, but not accurate. While the rooms were large and spacious and bathrooms semi-updated, everything is very dated, windows not secure, very creaky floors.

Got a great upgrade to a Suite. Staff is friendly, restaurant was nice and the location was great near Oxford street and Hyde park with plenty of restaurants around.

Got back the first night to a note under our door saying the water will be off from 11am-2pm, apparently just our floor, messed up our day plans as having a layin was one of them. They didn't warn us at the desk. Made no attempt to resolve the issue other than saying it might not take 3 hours. The second morning there was no hot water at all. They also took a £100 charge on my card, not a preauth, on check-in and tried to send us off at checkout without refunding it, we had to remind them and they seemed flustered and slow at making the payment. Overall poor customer service, I would not reccomend booking here as a treat as they seem intent on taking your money but not ensuring you had a good stay

This property is 4 historic townhomes that have been renovated into a hotel. Loads of character located just a block for a less busy underground station. Oxford street shopping, fantastic restaurants and parks abound. We had a two bedroom so our daughter had her own space. Came with a kitchen and full bathroom. Would most definitely stay again.
