My home in London for over twenty years of travels. I love the Pelham and recommend it to all my friends. A great little hotel and incredibly well situated. Directly across the street from the South Kensington tube station, within walking distance of the V & A, Harrods, Kings Road, Kensington High Street and so much more. The rooms are immaculate and perfectly appointed and the public rooms are lovely.

The noisiest hotel in the UK! Old good-for-nothing building. Never had people walking on other floors or flush noises from other side of the building come through this much! The worst part was the people above me getting ready at 4am for god knows what. Every step, every movement of the suitcase, every thing dropped sounds like a bomb dropped. I couldn't sleep at all. Had to call the concierge four times! Took my money back and left immediately in the morning! They had the audacity to try to charge me for an extra night as per their policy. After some words, they saw the error in their policy. Avoid at all cost!!!

Not really a 5 star property. Very charming public spaces but rooms are in need of a refresh - stained fabric, carpet, etc and very dated. Excellent bed and bed linens and spacious room.

Disappointing overall and not worth the money. We were in room 208 which had outdated furniture, marks on the wall, stain on the carpet and a view out onto nothing other than a brick wall and pigeons. Breakfast was ok for £20 each but we still had to make our own toast at the buffet … how hard is it for toast to be served alongside the tea and coffee? Staff were helpful and public areas very tastefully furnished. Great location but still a disappointing experience.
