Had a great stay in a Junior Suite. Beautifully designed, spacious room. All staff was especially nice. Dinner in the restaurant was superb! Hotel is near enough to train station to easily walk but on a quiet side street away from traffic. A great choice.

We reserved a Design Double room, which in Switzerland usually means a King size bed. We got a Queen size bed & had the worst night sleep not only on this trip, but the worst in over 15 years of overseas travel. The mattress was too thin for the slat mattress & the bed actually creaked. We asked to change rooms the next morning, to be told by a very unhelpful young man that “all the beds were the same, we probably weren’t use to that sort of bed, the hotel was booked out & we could get more pillows later” . That evening, we waited until he finished his shift & then got Melanie who actually spoke to the Manager Simon. She showed us 3 other rooms which we could choose from( so the hotel was NOT booked out) & helped us move rooms. We got a King size bed that is actually 2 single mattresses on a slat base,which was very comfortable & the norm for Switzerland. The rooms were very nice & our 2nd room had a lovely small balcony & there is a quaint roof top area where you can take your drinks. The hotel is in a great central location across from the main train station, but not too noisy. Thank you to Melonie for her excellent customer service & for listening to our concerns. However, the young man perhaps needs some feedback, regarding how to handle customer concerns, so they don’t become a complaint.

Excellent they had almost all english speaking employees that were there to help any way they could. Great buffet breakfast included. Easy parking under hotel in garage. Easy 5 min walk to train station, buses, riverfront, shopping and dining. Only negative was the price!

Was on a family trip with three teenagers. The adjoining family suite was perfect. Very convenient right across from the train station and everything worth seeing in the town was walkable. Safe, clean, great staff, and restaurant on site.

The only good thing about the hotel is their location. We checked in to our plan and had a confusion about how many people can stay in a room. I ended up upgrading the room. The room wasn’t clean had used ashtray, it had spider web. Upon brining the issue it took hotel staff 2 days to remove the spider web. Also washroom had no soap. Definitely not recommended to stay.

The hotel and the room was beautiful. We booked this hotel because it stated that they have AIR CONDITIONING. After checking in and allowing the room to cool a bit, the room was 77 degrees (25 degrees Celsius) and could not get it to drop at all during our entire visit. It appeared to be a bad design as the room had very few vents. The hotel staff did provide fans, but that provided very little comfort. So if you are traveling in the summer months and want a cool room, I’d select another hotel.

AC broken in room. Miserable stay. Never fixed in the 3 nights we were there. Beds were not comfortable, pillow kept slipping in the hole above my head all night and there is a HUGE gap between the two mattress, blow dryer didn’t work, as well as some outlets in our room.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. But the room is noisy at night. We don’t know where the sound came from but it was a bit annoying. The room is clean and if the desk and chairs can be changed to the modern ones, the whole mood and taste of the room would be elevated.

We had a “junior suite” and it was amazing! The only weird thing was a window separating the bedroom/bathroom…it allowed whoever was in the room to look into the restroom. Strange, but the size of the room and the location made up for that.

Amazing staff here, very friendly and helpful. Katherine, Liz and Louis made our trip better helping with tours and restaurants reservations. Stayed in a family room which worked well for our 5 adult travelers. Continental breakfast, very good waitstaff there too.

Overall our stay was good. Hotel is in a good location close to the old town, famous bridge, and other sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is next to the train station, but is very quiet! Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great shower and bathroom with plenty of room for two. We were able to walk from here to everything we wanted to see, and there are great “local” restaurants nearby if you want to avoid the tourist traps along the river. Great breakfast!!

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—right next to the train station and a Coop grocery store, which made getting around and picking up essentials very easy. The staff, including housekeeping, were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet; it offered a good variety and was a great start to the day. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay in Lucerne.

Had a great stay in a Junior Suite. Beautifully designed, spacious room. All staff was especially nice. Dinner in the restaurant was superb! Hotel is near enough to train station to easily walk but on a quiet side street away from traffic. A great choice.

Wonderful staff, the hotel is beautiful and clean. Beds are soft and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great I recommend purchasing it with the room. They also make fresh specialty coffees during breakfast.

Room was very small, no dresser or place to put your clothes. Our reservation was changed by hotel at the last minute from a suite to a standard room. Apparently there was a fire back in July, and they waited for over a month to let us know. If we had known in advance we would have definitely canceled the reservation. We prepaid over $700/nt for the suite, and they only credited us for $70 for a substantially inferior room. Location is great, right across street form train station and 3 blocks from river front. Staff was great. Breakfast was minimal and extremely overpriced (~$50pp).
