Lovely stay at this hotel. Excellent staff and lovely location. Big comfy clean rooms and just five minutes walk to the train station. Luggage storage after checkout available. Excellent spa facilities however steam room wasn't working when we visited. Would definitely stay here again.

It was OK, 15mins walk to old town had a gym and pool and sauna and steam which was broken half the time or were on maintenance. Overall it was OK, not great not bad, rooms sizes were large and it was walking distance to the main train station.

Second visit to the hotel and enjoyed it again. Pool can be used in winter as its heated and covered then or summer too when its opened up. Comfortable stay and great location.

Dejligt hotel med gode senge. (Også selv om vi havde værelse til 3 pers) Rent og god service. Ligger 10 min gang fra centrum af den gamle by. 5 min til togstation til lufthavn. Dejlig serviceorienteret bartender. Stor morgenbuffet med lækkert udbud. Bla lokale tapas. Egen kok der laver dine æg som du ønsker. Wellness afdeling ikke velfungerende. Bla havde vi problemer med badefaciliteter. Og pool lukker kl 19.30. Hent håndklæder i receptionen til brug i weelness. Den info fik vi af en gæst på hotellet. Flot ankomsthal og god elevator op til 7. etage. Vi manglede en tagtaresse til hygge i solen.

Very spacious and friendly staff. The rooms are very clean. And the gym was also pretty big and well equipped. The only thing I didn’t like was the Breakfast salone…it was too crowded and the room was too small for such big hotel with this many guests. And serving the coffee and tea from only two machines was really tiring / annoying.

Prima hotel met ruime kamers en fijne faciliteiten: overdekt zwembad, gym en sauna. Het ontbijt was ook dikke prima: een ruime keuze met veel vers fruit en een kok die verse omeletten voor je maakt. Got a room that was dirty( showed pictures) she went up and checked, she said it was clean( they had cleaned it meanwhile) i showed the pictures and she have is a new room, finding it was dirty in the toilet. We also saw 2 Silverfish in the bedroom while beeing there, so be aware of that in your bags. The breakfast area was dirty, it was packed of people so they didnt clean tables properly. The cups and plates was also dirty, with rests from orange juicy inside and crums ( bad dishwasher?). The housekeeper was gonna give us towels which she has used the same gloves she cleaned bathrooms with. Well the positive side was big rooms and comfortable beds, there was also a nice tv in the room. The reception after the first incident (trying to cover up a dirty room) was nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. And also helpful breakfast staff. Overall an ok and nice hotel, with helpful staff, but the cleanliness was terrible, also with finding Silverfish was a bad experience.

Basic nice. In the room, bath tub was very stained, room scent was disturbingly strong or perhaps it was an insect repellent and when you shower water dripped past the shower glass so that I had to throw all extra towels on the floor to dry it.

Beautiful modern hotel with top notch service and facilities. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Wi-Fi was excellent. There were several lovely places to gather and the pool area was really nice. Location is fab. Very convenient with a great view of the harbour. I would definitely stay here again.

We’d a one night stay before travelling on to Estepona. The hotel is in a very good location within a short walk of the centre.It seems more suited to business and conference guests, but it was fine for our needs. The bedroom is large with a huge comfortable bed. We didn’t eat or drink there so can’t comment on food or service quality. Check in was smooth but quite perfunctory.

A very comfortable hotel not too far from the city centre. The pool and hot tub were only lightly heated in January which was disappointing, however the service and amenities were excellent . We stayed in a top-floor suite with a very large balcony overlooking the harbour. It was a quiet room, and very well equipped with soundproofing.

Hotel is in a decent location. The staff could be a little friendlier and more welcoming. The overall decor of the hotel could do with some improvements as I have stayed at lower prices hotels that are in better shape. We loved the spacious room and all the amenities the hotel has to offer. The property is very well kept. But the best part is their staff, they went above and beyond to help us with our concerns. The restaurant staff, both day and night, is exceptional. They treat you like family. If we had the opportunity of returning to beautiful Malaga, we would not hesitate to stay at Ilunion again. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station. It was expensive, but with good reviews, I decided to pay extra expecting a quality stay. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got. At check-in, I was given a room that wasn’t ready—filthy, with towels on the floor, an unmade bed, and trash everywhere. After I complained, they apologized and asked me to return later. When I did, they gave me the same room, now cleaned. Not long after, water began leaking from the ceiling near the AC. I asked for another room, but was told the hotel was full. Instead, a technician spent a long time fixing it while I just wanted to rest in the comfortable room I paid for. Maybe I was unlucky, but based on this experience, I can’t leave a positive review for this hotel.

Location was quiet breakfast was good. 15 minute walk to city center. We choose this hotel for the parking. We had a car. Be sure it’s a small car. Room was ok. I like having tissue, lotion and cream rinse a hotel provides. This one did not. Still a nice hotel.

This is a realy nice, clean and bright hotel in the port area of Malaga. Ideal for busines meetings and stays. Staff were very friendly and attentative ensuring the stay was relaxing and comfortable. I was at a conference held in the hotel, the location was excellent and the services provided were excellent. Food in the hotel was very good, plenty of choice for breakfast and a buffet lunch provided for the conference. Bedroom was large, clean and efficient air-con kept evrything cool. Definatley a good busines hotel.

This is a modern, well maintained hotel with good overall facilities, good room cleaning etc. Breakfast restaurant is excellent (just the coffee machines are slow). However the dining restaurant and bar on the ground floor (and associated room service) are absolutely terrible: poor service and not well cooked food. That is also noticeable because there are so few customers in that restaurant. Avoid this part of the hotel as the plague! Should this latter been taken care of, it would be an excellent modern hotel worthy of the per night price it charges.

We had the best experience at this hotel. I wasn’t sure as some reviews made it sound basic, but We loved the rooms (jr suite with great terrace and a standard room) and the staff was so nice and helpful. We especially enjoyed the restaurant and bar, which was an unexpected bonus! And the breakfast buffet was the best! If we return to Malaga we would stay again, location also is super convenient to train.
