Futurotel Malagueta Beach

For what this type of hotel is, they do a great job. It’s walking distance from town center. Staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. They have fun and useful amenities- air hockey, electric scooters. The showers have multiple dispensers, offering chooses of body wash and shampoo. It’s got a youth hostel vibe. But the pods provide more privacy than bunk beds. I would have liked better vending machines in the lobby, and the tv in my pod didn’t work. But I’d totally stay there again.

Very fun to try. However not the best place to stay for 3 days in a row unfortuately. There were damages to my capsulta 4 (habitacion 1), noise every single evening. I don't think you should let male and woimen sleep in the same rooms. I complained about the same guy 2 days in a row. He kept talking on his phone until 2 in the morning. Not fair for the rest of us. The female receptionist were so friendly and kind and all in all good experience. However I still think I should get one of the nights refunded. I would like to come back and give it a chance again

Better know what a “capsule” is before you stay here. Very futuristic hotel. The “rooms” are small compartment stacked one above the other. Basically just a bed. Bathroom is separate and shared. Offer a number of extras but every one costs . . . A lot. Good thing - it’s well located.

Welcoming and friendly front desk staff. As for the pod, great idea in theory, however there was little to no soundproofing. I could hear buzzing of people’s cell phones and alarms going off in the pod next to me and heard every conversation next to me and within the dorm area. More privacy in the pod than a hostel, but be sure to take noise cancelling headphones to sleep. The pods ‘look’ like they are designed to be soundproofed… but it was paper thin construction. Everything else was great, comfortable mattress, 2 towels provided, shampoo, conditioner, body wash.

Having read the lovers and haters reviews, here's a very honest one. Ok, so we waited 10 minutes pressing the bell before someone came to reception to check us in. Then they wanted money because they had 2 bookings showing, one of which wasn't paid for, even though I only had one booking! I was then asked to prove payment was made by logging into my online banking and showing the transaction, which I done, very reluctantly, just to actuallyget checkedinat that point, so not a positive start! Dorm area clean and as expected with sufficient storage space for belongings. Capsules 'compact', in-room safe unusable as the matress is tight against it. Can get a blanket if needed for extra heat and fresh towels upon request was great. Shower/WC areas very clean and with shower gel and shampoo provided. Games area great for kids although I hated having to hand over my passport every single time. Location amazing, 2 mins from Malagueta Beach and 5 mins walk from Muelle Uno Port where there's plenty of great eateries and is a pleasant place to spend the day/evening, lovely stalls and amusement arcade. 2 male reception staff very friendly and helpful, unfortunately I didn't have the same experience with the female staff member. Don't make the mistake of thinking you're getting a 'queen room' and you'll have room to move. Do your homework, understand this place is a hostel and if that's not what you want, stay elsewhere. asked to lig into
