Unique location: close to the airport, direct beach access (across a pedestrian path), close to airport ($15 taxi ride). Outside of Málaga but ideal for nice retreat. Very friendly staff, buffet available 3 times a day or a la carte meals at the pool bar. Gym is $5 extra a day and outdated.

Gym was rather small and children unsuitable in age were admitted without adult supervision by their parents - health and safety. Once kids were let in they could not get out without a key card . No staff on hand to monitor this . Curtains fallen off track in room . Brilliant entertainment on offer . Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. Always taxis outside to take you anywhere and cheaply priced.

The hotel's staff wasn't friendly and it's facilities need a desperate upgrade. They charge for everything - parking (eventhough there's a huge parking lot ), beach lounge, and even the billards table. The towels we clearly left on the floor to be changed were put back on the rack. We had to call and request new towels. Also the beds and pillows are uncomfortable.

The hotel lobby was nice but overall the rest they need to invest or do some updates. Rooms are big but old and dirty. Our room had a lot of ants and furniture was old, not even a frame of decoration. The bar is nice but not so many options yo choose from. The front desk ok service. The bartender was friendly

Belle hôtel. Mérites ses 4 étoiles. Le personnel est au top. Le buffet du matin est nickel. (On a pas fait le midi et le soir) Petit bémol pour le ménage. There was no room service at all, in time of a need there was no assistance and was shut down when asked. The indoor swimming pool wasn't working - not mentioned on website. Water in the taps, shower and toilets during our stay! General Hygiene in the hotel was poor and customer service poor - wouldn't recommend especially with children.

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, die Einrichtung eher unmodern. Keine begehbare Dusche, nur Badewanne (relativ tiefer Einstieg). Richtig cool sind die 2 x 1,40 breiten Doppelbetten. Etwas störend der Fluglärm bei offenem Fenster, 24/7, da bleibt nur die Klimaanlage (leider direkt neben/über dem Bett). Tolle Aussicht aus fast allen Zimmern, relativ gute bis sehr gute Auswahl beim Essen.

Don't book this hotel if you want to sleep. The staff are helpful, location convenient. But it's a dated property with no internal soundproofing whatsoever, every sound from neighbouring rooms and the corridors can be heard, even the squeak of the hinges of the wardrobes. I dread to think how awful sleep quality would be in a busy season with high occupancy.

This place is absolutely awesome! The availability to the hotel's restaurant was ever present and the prices were better than competitive against restaurants in Malaga. There's a beautiful outdoor area around the pool (real grass) with lawn chairs and thatched. Cross a walkway (not a street) and you're on the beach. They have a gym and an indoor pool (that we didn't use) and a professional masseuse that we did use. Again, no gouging on the price of the massage< basically half of what you'd pay on a cruise ship. The floors are all marble, every floor, every room. The bed was comfortable and the tv had a couple channels in English that wasn't news. Finally, a HUGE thank you to Lucia. Lucia checked us in 6 hours after check in was supposed to happen...and that was the easy part. Immediately upon arriving at the Malaga train station, I used my credit card at the only ATM in the train station mall. We get in the cab and Master Card sends me a text that I'd just charged the remaining balance of my card. We get to the hotel and I'm livid and talking with MC and Lucia is watching this. I was so into trying to get my card fixed, I left my wife with Lucia to get our room. I was no fun to be around, but Lucia just made it better, and 5 minutes later the card was fixed, and all was good. We stayed 2 additional nights because of our experience with Lucia and the wonderful facility.

Quand votre réservation vous coûtent 250€/nuit mais qu’à votre arrivée sur place à 16h00 on vous fait patienter 35 minutes… au motif que la chambre est en cours de nettoyage ; pourtant les voyageurs arrivant après nous se font délivrer leurs clés rapidement et cerise sur le gâteau, à l’entrée dans notre chambre aucune trace de nettoyage récent ! Vraiment assez déçu de cette accueil.

First night unbearable as sewage gas coming from washroom. Towels in washroom were dirty. No apology or compensation. Told they were fully booked. Changed our room next night. Bar under staffed. Had to wait at least 20 mins to order food and drinks. Terrible service and stay!! Took prepayment on check in for the two nights!

Hotel liegt sehr ruhig (keine Touristenhochburg) und direkt am Strand. Im Hotel gibt es Frühstück, aber auch Option für Mittags-/Abendessen und Kleinigkeiten zwischendurch. In Guadalmar gibt es aber auch fußläufig Restaurants. Vor der Tür fährt der Bus direkt nach Malaga oder zur SBahn Station, um in die umliegenden Orte zu fahren. Zimmer waren groß, sauber, Meerblick, Badezimmer dagegen war ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Poolanlage war sauber und gut zum Entspannen. Insgesamt war das Hotel perfekt für uns wegen der Ruhe und dennoch sehr guten Anbindung. Gerne wieder.

Nice beatiful hotel on the beach, very good rooms, good breakfast, safe and convinient area with nearby small grocery/convenience store. However, always need to take taxi to go to Malaga or Marbella or Torremolinos as nothing else to do but walk on the beach or short boardwalk. Staff was not very friendly

Excellent hotel just outside of Malaga and very close to the airport. Very clean and very comfortable Huge selection of food for the evening meal buffet at 22 euros per person. Breakfast buffet also Excellent with a huge choice. Not much around the immediate area, just a couple of restaurants next to the beach. Highly recommend the hotel but would need to get taxi into Malaga.

Check in was a strict 3pm, had full board so that leaves 30 minutes for lunch if you don't go to your room first. We did that but the selection for some items was scraps and was not refilled (3 total pieces of desert left), couple of food items not refilled. AC unit does not keep up with the temperature, rooms are a bit dated compared to the rest of the property.

We requested an updated room and we received one on the fourth floor with a promenade view. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner during our stay. It was very convenient, to have a bus (#5) out front that took us right down/back to the historic part of Malaga.

They booked us in a family room, with bunk beds. We had to request a move. The food is cold, we sent back a burger and fries that were stone cold, 20 minutes later it came back, just as cold. The breakfast was great, but I wouldn't eat at the bar or the pool side, food was terrible. Tick Tack restaurant up the street was great. The beach was great as well.
