Hotel en excelente localización. Cumple con todo para estar en este hotel, personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Solo un detalle , la zona donde esta elevador en el nivel donde estuvimos esta muy oscura. Sin embargo nos la pasamos bien.

Ibis Munchen City was a decent property to stay at. The hotel was in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to restaurants and coin laundries, only a few minutes from the train station. The rooms were clean and full of amenities. The bar in the lobby was always lively and full of character.

The hotel is located within the walking distance from the city center’s attractions. There are restaurants on the same street, and there is a bar and a restaurant at the hotel. The reception and red team is great - friendly and professional. The cleaning ladies are not very attentive, we had to remind twice to replace the towels, and the shower gel did not get refilled. The rooms are small, it the hotel is new & fresh. Good choice if you do not expect anything fancy. The hotel has a garage, open 24/7, very convenient.

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I travel quite often. The stay wasn’t terrible, but for an Ibis, I expected much more. From the moment you enter, the hotel feels dark and unwelcoming, with an overall gloomy atmosphere that negatively impacts the experience. The rooms are extremely small and very poorly designed, with impractical layouts that make you constantly bump into furniture and walls. The bed was, without exaggeration, the worst I have ever slept in. The mattress is extremely thin and uncomfortable, and only one very thin pillow is provided. I had to take painkillers every single day due to back pain. Comfort was clearly not a priority, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. Communication with reception is another serious issue. The intercom/phone in the room does not work, making it impossible to contact reception without physically going downstairs. On top of that, the hotel offers no room service at all. If you want anything from reception or the bar, you must go downstairs to pick it up — and then go downstairs again to return items. For a hotel of this category, this is simply absurd. The staff experience was mixed. Most reception staff were okay but generally unfriendly, rarely smiling and giving the impression of being unhappy. The middle-aged woman who helped me when I checked in at the front desk was very kind and friendly, which left a good impression on me. It helped me relax on the first day of my travel in Germany. The hotel is small and the rooms are narrow, but I have no complaints. Above all, the location is convenient. I didn't mind it much, but when I pulled back the bed sheets, I found a small insect carcass that looked like a bed bug. The shower room is small, and the door is made of transparent glass, so Asian people who aren't used to it might be surprised. The problem was that water from the shower was leaking out from the gap at the bottom of the glass door. This may be a common design in Europe, but Asian people who aren't used to it should be cautious. Overall, it was comfortable.

Terrible expérience!!! Chambres extrêmement bruyantes, aucune flexibilité du personnel (ni amabilité), hôtel sale, tant dans les chambres (moquettes ET draps avec des tâches, cheveux dans la salle de bains, etc...) que dans les parties communes (nourriture pas nettoyée au sol dans l'ascenseur). A ce prix c'est vraiment du VOL ! Totalement scandaleux!

Die Lage nur 5min vom Hauptbahnhof und inmitten vieler Restaurants ist perfekt. Das Zimmer war praktisch eingerichtet und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl von salzig bis süß. Sehr positiv ist mir auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals von Rezeption bis Restaurant aufgefallen. Das einzige Manko: das Bad hätte besser geputzt sein können.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was chosen based upon its distance to the central train station and the price. Overall I was satisfied with my stay. The hotel is clean and the room was in good condition. I was disappointed that the room did not have a safe however the front desk staff were very helpful by providing access to a safe deposit desk at the front desk. Overall I was pleased with my stay and would stay at this hotel again in the future.

Zimmer war schön, aber schon sehr abgewohnt. Bad zweckmäßig. Leider mussten wir erst die braunen und roten Spuren der vorigen Gäste von der Klobrille entfernen. Das Duschwasser blieb stehen und lief auch noch nicht ab, bis wir abreisten. Für eine Nacht ist das alles noch OK, empfehlen würde ich aber nicht.

We choose this hotel for 2 reasons, it was close to the train station and had air conditioning. The air conditioning did not work at all, not just in our room but any room (so I believe). Unfortunately Europe is notorious for its lack of working air conditioning, so we had 2 days over 30c in a hot, tiny hotel room, and it’s fair to say this tarnished our stay at this hotel. The positives is that it is very close to the station, easy walk to the city and close to shops and restaurants.

I booked our stay based upon previous stays at an Ibis Styles property and its proximity to the train station. As compared to Ibis’ Styles concept, the room was surprisingly small - similar to a college dorm room. My son and I are both tall and had difficulty utilizing the bathroom, especially the shower. Our stay was during an unusually hot week and the room AC could not adequately cool the room. Despite these negatives, the overall condition of the property was good. It was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Although I probably wouldn’t stay there again because of the small rooms, it’s a great economical option for my college-aged son.

Excellent breakfast options, which was incredibly helpful in getting us through our long (fun) days of sightseeing. Our room was small but clean and functional. Biggest downside was that we had to have the window open to cool off the room, and the train/street noise could make sleeping difficult. Otherwise, very useful location near museums, transportation, and great restaurants.

The sindle room is quite small but clean. The bathroom has a window and is very cold despite the small heating on the wall. My bed was very hard and obviously used. The same person was at check-in and check-out. Very taciturn and extremely unfriendly. Put the bill down without saying a word when I checked out. Not the best Ibis impression…
The sindle room is quite small but clean. The bathroom has a window and is very cold despite the small heating on the wall. My bed was very hard and obviously used. The same person was at check-in and check-out. Very taciturn and extremely unfriendly. Put the bill down without saying a word when I checked out. Not the best Ibis impression…

At first, I thought this place was going to be great as I was greeted by the front desk and she left me leave my luggage and allowed me to use the washroom on the main level before my check-in time. Unfortunately, I have one major issue to report when I stayed over my feet were itching while asleep. At the time, I did not think much of it but I can confirm I have received bed bugs on my feet. I also noticed a small brown stain on the duvet which I ended up rotating the duvet to get it away from my face. I also visited the bar downstairs for 1 beer however my experience wasn’t good at all. The bartender handed me a menu and proceeded to chat back with a couple from France from the hotel which is great but it took him over 8 mins to come over to me and ask me what I wanted. Keep in mind, it was only the couple and myself at the bar only. He was not busy at all. I finally ordered a beer and he then proceeded to talk to the couple again which is fine but please be respectful of my presence. I still have not received my drink and patiently waiting. What was sad is that another guest arrived 10 minutes after me at the bar and was served a beer. I saw it happen in front of me and the bartender noticed and pretended like he was still working to fill up my beer. I finally got my beer and asked to pay by card. He asked if I had cash which I answered no and asked to pay by card. He left a very sad experience for me where I did not feel recognized at all.

I had previouisly made a booking at the same hotel with another site which I'd cancelled... this seemed to confuse the staff as it was still showing on their system... they couldn't find the new booking at first. Also there was an issue with breakfast. It was Breakfast Included in my booking confirmation, again they couldn't find it! I was put in a room on the second floor facing the trams so there was some noise.

Hotel is walking distance to the train station. Also, there is a tram stop just a short block to the left, as you're coming out. Staff was friendly enough and securely stored, and tagged, our luggage when we arrive hours before check in. There is a strip joint a few doors down, but do not be alarmed. It is a very diverse neighborhood, with little spots to eat, non-drinking Muslim locals, and enough light. Also, if you need a break from pork and potatoes, there is a little fruit stand, down by the tram stop. We had a very early flight out, and walked to the train station before 4:30am, in the dark. There were people out (it was the first night of Oktobefest) but we felt safe. Only real downside, for some, might be the size of the room. It is small. No biggie for us, as we only used it for sleeping and were gone the rest of the days and evenings. However, the bathroom is tiny! I'm a small guy, and I can't imagine an XXL person getting in and out of the shower. For the convenience to the train station, I'd stay there again.

Well placed for visiting the old part of the city and near the station and good places to eat. Breakfast in the hotel was good value. The room on the 7th floor overlooking the street was a bit noisy from frequently passing trams.

Very clean hotel, decent breakfast and fantastic location. Very close to the station and train to airport. As with most such locations, the surrounding area is variable with some good restaurants and other scruffy looking takeaways etc. But would definitely recommend for location and value.

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I travel quite often. The stay wasn’t terrible, but for an Ibis, I expected much more. From the moment you enter, the hotel feels dark and unwelcoming, with an overall gloomy atmosphere that negatively impacts the experience. The rooms are extremely small and very poorly designed, with impractical layouts that make you constantly bump into furniture and walls. The bed was, without exaggeration, the worst I have ever slept in. The mattress is extremely thin and uncomfortable, and only one very thin pillow is provided. I had to take painkillers every single day due to back pain. Comfort was clearly not a priority, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. Communication with reception is another serious issue. The intercom/phone in the room does not work, making it impossible to contact reception without physically going downstairs. On top of that, the hotel offers no room service at all. If you want anything from reception or the bar, you must go downstairs to pick it up — and then go downstairs again to return items. For a hotel of this category, this is simply absurd. The staff experience was mixed. Most reception staff were okay but generally unfriendly, rarely smiling and giving the impression of being unhappy. Excellent breakfast options, which was incredibly helpful in getting us through our long (fun) days of sightseeing. Our room was small but clean and functional. Biggest downside was that we had to have the window open to cool off the room, and the train/street noise could make sleeping difficult. Otherwise, very useful location near museums, transportation, and great restaurants.

I opened the window to help keep the room cool, which was fine, but the downside is that I could hear the trams and people outside very loudly. I wanted to be near the train station, and the location was very convenient. I liked that they had water in the lobby so I could refill me water bottle.
