After travelling 11hrs arrived at hotel to be told they don’t have luggage trollies, no help was offered- lift down to the tunnel, incline walk through tunnel, lift up, short walk then four flights of steps arrived at our room to repeat this journey again to get the rest of our luggage- NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!! No tea or Coffee in room as mentioned on website, had to pay for it in the restaurant …Lovely setting, breakfast very good, room needed a new carpet. Onsite facilities were good but no information in room regarding opening times e.g turned up at the gym to find it closed.

The family suite is large with 2 bathrooms. Great space! The pool is fun. The property is a bit older but well maintained. The Biergarten is lovely. It has activities for kids too.

Das Hotel ist "in die Jahre" gekommen und muss dringend von Grund auf renoviert werden. Das Zimmer war noch ok. Einige Zimmer sind nur durch ein dreistöckiges Treppenhaus ohne Aufzug erreichbar. Sportlich! Aber mit Gepäck -grausam!

Klassiek appartement was heel ruim. Het heet een appartement maar er is geen keukenblok in aanwezig. Verder klassiek/ Oostenrijks ingericht maar een heel fijn verblijf. Ligt op een groot terrein met aparte huizen die ondergronds geschakeld zijn aan elkaar. Zwembad, sauna en fitness ruimte aanwezig in hotel. Parkeergarage tegen betaling. En een heel lekker uitgebreid keuze van het ontbijtbuffet.

Lots of facilities we could have used but we were only there for 24 hours. Pool was fab, and a 10 min walk along to some shops and restaurants. Driveway was up a steep hill, but that gave us great views across to the ski jump too. Breakfast buffet was lovely and not too busy despite us going quite late in the serving times. We had a family room which had two separate bedrooms and a dining area and 2 bathrooms

Älteres, aber immer noch sehr schönes Hotel bestehend aus mehreren Häusern in sehr schön gelegener Anlage. Hat Schönheitsreparaturen nötig, ist aber insgesamt gepflegt. Inkl. großem Wellness-Bereich (Schwimmbad, Saunen, Massagen) und Sportmöglichkeiten (Tennisplätze indoor und outdoor, Kraft- und Ausdauertraining). Das Beste an diesem Hotel ist aber definitiv das top Personal: immer freundlich und hilfsbereit (auch in stressigen Situationen) und immer ansprechbar. Ich möchte hier insbesondere Frau Hildmann für Ihre Leistung rund um den Frontdesk sowie Rachid für seinen exzellenten Service im Restaurant hervorheben. Übrigens auch für Hunde-Besitzer exzellente Wahl: es standen in unserem Appartment Näpfe und sogar ein Willkommens-Leckerli bereit - vielen Dank für diese Aufmerksamkeit!

I reserved two rooms for our family. Arrived at the property and found out the rooms were nowhere close to each other. They were on the same reservation. The "tunnels" where dirty and some filled with vomit. There were crawling bugs in the bathroom.

Das Hotel ist leider sehr abgerockt und nicht das wert, was es kostet. Kein Roomservice. Wir haben 3 Nächte ohne Handseife klarkommen müssen. Unter und hinter dem Bett liegt Dreck und Utensilien bzw. Hinterlassenschaften vergangener Besucher. Schranktüren hängen ausgehakt quer vorm Schrank (Nutzung nicht möglich), Minikühlschrank ebenfalls mit vergammelten Hinterlassenschaften früherer Besucher voll. Keine Bedienung am Tisch und Bezahlung nach jeder Getränkerunde. Im Spabereich sind Türklinken abgefallen und der Sprudler im Whirlpool liegt auch locker im Becken rum.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer höheren Preisklasse, jedoch entsprechen die Zimmer nicht dem erwarteten Standard. Insbesondere war der Teppich im Zimmer stark verschmutzt und die Reinigung ließ zu wünschen übrig. Am letzten Tag fanden wir sogar eine Pfandflasche unter dem Bett, die nicht uns gehörte und offensichtlich von vorherigen Gästen stammte. Dieser Zustand ist für die Preisklasse inakzeptabel. Zusätzlich wurden wir nach drei Tagen mit einem Zettel unter der Tür aufgefordert, die Zwischenrechnung zu begleichen, was wir als merkwürdig empfanden. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns nicht wirklich willkommen.

Apart from this reception failed to inform us at check-in that room cleaning and towel changes would only be provided at an additional charge. The room allocated needs refurbishment, especially the carpets which were stained in various places. (Carpets in the corridors were similarly stained). The Room should have had a mini fridge which was missing. A gate to a road at the back of the property which would have been a convenient way to walk to the center of Partenkirchen was locked (probably for security reasons). Yet a notice on the padlocked gate said it was to be used in case of a fire.

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, unser Zimmer war abgewohnt, aber sauber. Im Schwimmbadbereich war es leider nicht sehr sauber, vor allem in den Ecken und im Kleinkindbecken. Essen und Service waren super. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und hat viel Potential!

Ich habe während einer Fahrrad-Tour dort übernachtet. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer sind sehr groß und und äußerst sauber. Das Personal verhält sich sehr höflich und den Gästen zugewandt. Fahrräder können sicher, in einem großen und überwachten Raum abgestellt werden.

Das Zimmer war groß, der Teppich aber abgewohnt. Das Personal war freundlich, das Frühstück gut. Der Wellnessbereich war unterdurchschnittlich und nicht wirklich zum Wohlfühlen. Zur Preisehrlichkeit gehört, dass der Parkplatz täglich 15 € kostet und man fußläufig nirgendwo anders parken kann. Mit Kurtaxe kostet das Zimmer also 21€ mehr.
Das Zimmer war groß, der Teppich aber abgewohnt. Das Personal war freundlich, das Frühstück gut. Der Wellnessbereich war unterdurchschnittlich und nicht wirklich zum Wohlfühlen. While the location of the hotel is fantastic and boasts superb external facilities such as a beautiful pool and table tennis, I must admit that it felt quite overpriced. We opted for a 'deluxe' suite, which cost us 340 euros per night. The suite had three rooms and comfortably accommodated five people. However, except for the two recently renovated bathrooms, the furniture and sofa covers seemed outdated, giving it a slightly underwhelming feel. The doors were noisy, and to make matters worse, we discovered that the key to the toilet door was missing, making it impossible to lock. The room fell short of my higher expectations. Moving on to dinner, the only option available was a rather expensive buffet priced at 37 euros per adult (half for children). The buffet mainly consisted of grilled meats that were not particularly flavorful, along with sauces, potatoes, and vegetables—nothing too different from a home-cooked meal. We opted for a 'deluxe' suite, which cost us 340 euros per night. The suite had three rooms and comfortably accommodated five people. However, except for the two recently renovated bathrooms, the furniture and sofa covers seemed outdated, giving it a slightly underwhelming feel. The doors were noisy, and to make matters worse, we discovered that the key to the toilet door was missing, making it impossible to lock. The room fell short of my higher expectations. Moving on to dinner, the only option available was a rather expensive buffet priced at 37 euros per adult (half for children). The buffet mainly consisted of grilled meats that were not particularly flavorful, along with sauces, potatoes, and vegetables—nothing too different from a home-cooked meal. The hotel is laid out like a village and was great for a family with young kids, Staff are nice and friendly, Pool and kids playground are both great to have. The sofa bed was possibly the least comfortable "bed" we have ever slept on, they should provide a light mattress to use over it as it's like sleeping on a wooden table. The Bar is very small and quiet so not perhaps for those looking for any kind of social vibe. Location is a nice scenic 15 min walk from main town centre and has nice view over the valley and Mountains.

After travelling 11hrs arrived at hotel to be told they don’t have luggage trollies, no help was offered- lift down to the tunnel, incline walk through tunnel, lift up, short walk then four flights of steps arrived at our room to repeat this journey again to get the rest of our luggage- NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!! No tea or Coffee in room as mentioned on website, had to pay for it in the restaurant …Lovely setting, breakfast very good, room needed a new carpet. Onsite facilities were good but no information in room regarding opening times e.g turned up at the gym to find it closed.

Die finale Rechnung stimmte leider nicht, es wurden im Restaurant 11 Euro (=2 Getränke) zu viel berechnet und es konnte auch kein genauer Beleg mit Unterschrift für die beiden Getränke präsentiert werden. Muss man sich als Gast etwa schlecht fühlen, wenn im Hotel falsch abgerechnet wird? Hätte ich mir nicht den Beleg geben lassen, wäre es gar nicht aufgefallen. Es kam aber noch besser, dann wurde zunächst nur eines der beiden fehlerhaft berechneten Getränke zurückerstattet und ich musste für das zweite noch mal anfragen. There were no elevators going to rooms on the higher floors. No porters - we came with 2 little kids and were given a room furthest from the reception. We lugged 3 pieces of luggage to these rooms along with the kids Staff was not child friendly- nowhere else in Germany do we have to pay for milk for the baby. Paying is not a problem and we’re on to do that, but here, even after paying $4 they gave us a less than 8iz portion.

I prepaid for my son's room in advance through Expedia. He was staying one night waking up very early, 3am, to climb the Zugspitze. Upon checking out at the desk the hotel said they had no record of my expedia payment. My son showed them the receipt I sent him but they wouldn't honor it and made him pay with his credit card. We have now been charged double and the hotel is refusing to refund my son even though we have proof of both payments. Expedia is also having trouble getting an answer from the hotel.

Hotels.com details include text that the hotel had limited housekeeping, yet the hotel was advertised as a four-star hotel and hence one would assume daily room cleaning in line also with the German star classification standard. Apart from this reception failed to inform us at check-in that room cleaning and towel changes would only be provided at an additional charge. The room allocated needs refurbishment, especially the carpets which were stained in various places. (Carpets in the corridors were similarly stained). The Room should have had a mini fridge which was missing. A gate to a road at the back of the property which would have been a convenient way to walk to the center of Partenkirchen was locked (probably for security reasons). Yet a notice on the padlocked gate said it was to be used in case of a fire.

10 night stay in this hotel. We came late at night but the restaurant was still open for 1 hour. We went to eat. The lady in the restaurant was so annoyed! The restaurant was empty but she guided us to the bar to eat and said ”somebody will ask you about the drinks”. Nobody ever did. We went to the bar and asked. We had finished the dinner when we finally got our colas. This was the second time in this hotel. We had this superior room with lots of space. It was so shabby! The old floor carpet was so dirty. All the furniture is from 80”s. The bathrooms are so old. There was a water kettle in the room but no cups or spoons. The kitchenette was behind locked doors? When we left and paid the parking fee and city taxes the lady behind the reception desk did not even bothered to say Thank you. And by the way. The sign ”Restaurant is open” does not really mean it. You can eat in the bar and you can only get the short menu in German. The food is overpriced. Breakfast is ok but it is a total chaos if you go there before 9.30. The photos of the rooms and bathrooms don’t face the reality.

The front desk is useless. They do not provide any information about the local activities because they don't think it is their job. Our room does not have heat because it is not turned on, and the front desk told us to bring an electrical heater and they never delivered. They never answered our calls from the room. Overall, the stay was terrible.

This hotel is wonderful! We stayed with 3 kids and were able to get together in a single deluxe 2-bedroom suite. Great location close to the mountains, friendly staff, nice selection of food, beautiful area around the building with trees and playground for the kids. Definitely would love to come back!

This property is very close to the ski slope, and is a short walk to Partnachklamm. It’s a family resort with a nice swimming pool and a great playground for kids. It has a nice outdoor patio where they serve food and beer in fine weather. It’s about a mile from the train station in Garmisch, so we were able to walk back and forth along the river. We would definitely stay there again.

Lots of facilities we could have used but we were only there for 24 hours. Pool was fab, and a 10 min walk along to some shops and restaurants. Driveway was up a steep hill, but that gave us great views across to the ski jump too. Breakfast buffet was lovely and not too busy despite us going quite late in the serving times. We had a family room which had two separate bedrooms and a dining area and 2 bathrooms

This was a great location for winter sports. We were there in June and the lack of air conditioning was a little uncomfortable but tolerable; I did not notice a lack of AC when a booked this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it is convenient to dining and grocery shopping for an extended stay. Their dining room had good food and service but was expensive. Parking was convenient..

If you like to hike, this is the place to be! It's a less than 10-minute walk to the Olympic Stadium and Gorge. There is a fabulous little cafe within the stadium and ski lifts. We dined at the restaurant in the hotel the first evening. It was rather expensive for 2 adults/3 kids, however, the buffet selection was AMAZING! We will definitely stay again!

Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel vom Aufbau jedoch teilweise sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer war renoviert Wellness war gut. Frühstück war sensationell. Abend s wollten wir noch ne Kleinigkeit nach der Sauna essen jedoch wurden kleine Speisen nur bis 18 oder 20 uhr zubreitet und danach stand uns nur Buffet für 38 Euro zur Verfügung. Das nächste Mal wär das hotel wieder eine optional. Das Frühstück ließ mein Herz mehr als aufgehen.

If you have any disabilities or trouble walking, the hotel will become a nightmare of steep roads and stairs. The rooms are big but not in a good shape. The beds are hard even for a big guy like me but the worse part is the food! Do NOT go for the buffet! The food is terrible made and the quality does not match the price. Moreover, do not go to the breakfast buffet at 9:00 in the morning. It is chaotic and very poor organized. Only one coffee maker made us wait in line for a long time. You should think a big old hotel knows how to handle many people by now. A general comment is that the hotel is way too expensive compared with other hotels with the same or better facilities. Last but not least. Please note that you will have to pay 11 Euros per day to park your car, and you cannot check in before 16:30!

The property is lovely, and the food was amazing. We had breakfast on our reservation but they suggested that we added half board and dinner would be included as well, for 36 euros extra, per person, for a buffet. It was well worthy. Although the room was a bit far from the reception, we walk underground through a tunnel under the hotel, so it was not hard. Perhaps if you have heavy luggage it could be, due to some steps along the way, but the hotel was really nice and the 2 rooms spacious.

If you like to hike, this is the place to be! It's a less than 10-minute walk to the Olympic Stadium and Gorge. There is a fabulous little cafe within the stadium and ski lifts. We dined at the restaurant in the hotel the first evening. It was rather expensive for 2 adults/3 kids, however, the buffet selection was AMAZING! We will definitely stay again!

10 night stay in this hotel. We came late at night but the restaurant was still open for 1 hour. We went to eat. The lady in the restaurant was so annoyed! The restaurant was empty but she guided us to the bar to eat and said ”somebody will ask you about the drinks”. Nobody ever did. We went to the bar and asked. We had finished the dinner when we finally got our colas. This was the second time in this hotel. We had this superior room with lots of space. It was so shabby! The old floor carpet was so dirty. All the furniture is from 80”s. The bathrooms are so old. There was a water kettle in the room but no cups or spoons. The kitchenette was behind locked doors? When we left and paid the parking fee and city taxes the lady behind the reception desk did not even bothered to say Thank you. And by the way. The sign ”Restaurant is open” does not really mean it. You can eat in the bar and you can only get the short menu in German. The food is overpriced. Breakfast is ok but it is a total chaos if you go there before 9.30. The photos of the rooms and bathrooms don’t face the reality.

Parking cost 15 Euro a night. Drinks very expensive. Water was 7.50 euros. If you take the meal package you must pay additional £30 euro for the kitchen facility but worth it. Carpets need renewing. Pool was large and lovely with super mountain views.
