We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay, especially the guided hikes provided through the hotel with Hermann. Hermann was a delightful and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the many options available at breakfast each morning. Would highly recommend this property for its location to hiking trails, as well as local restaurants and shops.

Leider etwas unpersönlich und überfüllt, hatte Geburtstag und mir wurde nicht einmal gratuliert. Schade kenne ich von anderen Hotels nicht so! Kostenlose Parkplätze 2 Minuten vom Hotel, das Hotel Parkhaus kostet 17€ pro Nacht was ich als Wucher empfinde.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel, we love the breakfast and afternoon cake and coffee, the spa facilities are great and relaxing, rooms are modern and clean, my only fault is that if you’re there for 7 nights they should give you a room down the quiet end of the hotel,

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel ok, aber für den Preis hätte ich mir mehr qualitativ besseres Essen und mehr Service am Gast gewünscht; Check In schon recht kompliziert und nervig , weil ich keinen Platz zum Essen für Abends hatte. Leider wird nur alle 2 Tage das Zimmer geputzt, wenn man mit 2 Nächte bleibt bleibt das Zimmer leider umgemacht. Eher ein Familienhotel, nichts für Singles oder Paare. Sehr laut im Essensraum an der Bar dann eher Spieleabende, als gemütliches Barflair. Wellnessbereich, keine großen Handtücher für die Gäste , keine Getränke und eher wie eine große Schwimmhalle. Da auch externen Betrieb ist, bekommt man als Hotelgast nicht unbedingt Vortritt. Sehr gut waren jedoch die Anwendungen! Aber dazu muss ich dann nicht extra über Nacht bleiben. Leider dröhnen die sehr lauten Luftgebläse in der TG durch das Hotel bis in den 3 Stock, dass ein erholsamer Schlaf schwierig ist.

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende im aja Hotel. Der Ausblick auf die Berge war einfach fantastisch. Der Wellnessbereich selbst war immer sehr sauber. Insbesondere das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker. Alles frisch und wird immer wieder aufgefüllt. Die Poollandschaft, die auf den ersten Blick wirklich beeindruckend aussieht, hat ein großes Problem hier war. Das Wasser im Whirlpool sowie im Aussenbereich ist zu kalt, um es wirklich genießen zu können. Für mich war es Ok aber für die Freundin war es zu kalt. Vom Ankommen bis zum Abreisen, war alles perfekt.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal im Aja Garmisch und waren leider vom Poolbereich sehr enttäuscht. Im Winter sollte der Pool schön warm sein, vor allem das Jacuzzi sowie der Außenpool. Für mich und meine Freundin war es weder möglich das Jacuzzi noch Außenpool zu benutzen, da das Wasser kalt war. Vor allem um den Pool nach einem kalten Wintertag zu genießen haben wir uns für das Hotel entschieden, jedoch werden wir beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Garmisch ein anderes Hotel mit Spabereich suchen, das den Sinn eines Spas versteht.

Es ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Es war alles zufriedenstellen. Das Frühstück war super für jeden etwas dabei. Das einzige was wir zu bemängeln haben (haben wir vorher nicht gelesen, und vor Ort haben wir darüber auch keine Auskunft bekommen) das an pro Tag 17€ Parkgebühr bezahlen muss, das finden wir schon sehr teuer vorallem da das hotel auch nicht billig ist. Das hat uns sehr verärgert.

Sehr schönes modernes Hotel. Sehr gute Lage. Innenstadt und Hauptbahnhof fußläufig erreichbar. Hotel ist sehr modern. Schöner Spa Bereich. Personal ist sehr international, spricht nicht immer perfektes deutsch, dafür aber immer freundlich und serviceorientiert. Frühstück und das hinzubuchbare Abendessen waren reichhaltig und lecker. Problematisch ist die Reinigung und der Handtuchwechsel in den Zimmern. Aus vorgeblich ökologischen Gründen werden die Zimmer nur alle 2 Tage gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Aber auch dieser Rhytmus wurde bei unserem 7tägigen Aufenthalt nicht eingehalten. Ohne Rückmeldung an der Rezeption wäre die Zimmerreinigung und der Handtuchwechsel max. einmal durchgeführt worden.

In Summe fand ich den Aufenthalt gut. Leider war das Zimmer sehr laut, da zur Straße ausgerichtet. Da die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht steuerbar war und mir persönlich zu warm für die Nacht eingestellt war, war das in Kombination mit dem Zimmer zur Straße raus leider nicht sehr gut. An der Sauberkeit im Zimmer und in den Fluren kann auch gearbeitet werden. Die Preise für die Hotelbar und Zusatzleistungen wie z.B. Parken sind meiner Meinung extrem überzogen und passen nicht zum Anspruch des Hotels. Gut gefallen hat mir der großzügige Wellnessbereich und das umfangreiche Frühstücksangebot.

Sauber, tolles Frühstücken, schöne Einrichtung, ein richtig toller Spa Bereich. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Einzig das sehr offene Badezimmer war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig als Freunde.

Schönes modernes Hotel, toller Pool und Saunabereich. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Zentral Gelegen. Nette Mitarbeiter. Zimmer zur Straße leider sehr laut. Mit geschlossenem Fenster war der Straßenlärm ok oder kaum hörbar. Mit offenem Fenster versteht man keinen Fernseher und kann Nachts durch den Lärm eher schlecht schlafen. Da keine Klima im Zimmer wollten wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen - dies war leider nicht möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder - aber dann mit einem Zimmer das nicht zur Straße liegt :-)

We have stayed here five times recently, every stay was great, good breakfast, friendly staff, great pool and spa, not many Mountain View’s ( due to weather) usually fantastic views though. This hotel always has a lovely atmosphere. We had a problem with streaming service in our room, someone came to look at it, but it wasn’t repaired by time we left. We only had world news to watch in evening.

This hotel has great amenities for family vacation, the restaurant and bar atmosphere are great, but the small rooms are the problem, nobody likes tinny rooms, no AC just heating, no safe, no place for the bags, no amenities kit for the bathroom. Another problem is the front desk team, many of them barely speak English and sometimes have to work as receptionist and sales person for the Nivea store adjacent, this is simply does not work and makes a mess during check in time. One last major problem, you can hear the water for other showers running through the pipes, room 355. It is sad to see so much money invested in the huge hotel and loose clients for lack of comfort on the rooms.

Schönes neues Hotel im Herzen von Garmisch. Wir hatten ein teureres Zimmer mit Bergblick gebucht und dachten, dass dieses dann vielleicht ruhiger wäre. Dies war leider nicht der Fall. Zimmer geht zur Hauptstraße und ist extrem laut. Eine genaue Beschreibung der Zimmer wäre sinnvoll. Dies haben wir beim Auschecken bemängelt, die Antwort war, dass alle Zimmer Bergblick haben. Da frage ich mich dann, wieso teurere Zimmer mit Bergblick angeboten werden, wenn doch alle Zimmer Bergblick haben. Diese Zimmer liegen wohl in der oberen Etage. Also wer ruhig schlafen möchten bitte darauf achten.

I paid extra for Mountain View. There was a mountain but not THE mountains people go to the Alps to see. Also the room was on a very busy street side so opening the window was not relaxing. Breakfast was very good.

Leider kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer und der Verkehr war sehr laut. Im Zimmer war es zu warm, leider gibt es keine Klimaanlage. Wir hätten uns über mehr Handtücher gefreut. Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung.

Schönes Hotel mit perfekter Lage und tollem Wellness-Bereich. Das Bett war super bequem und auch das Frühstücksbuffet fanden wir toll. Außerdem war es extrem leise im Hotel und das trotz vieler Familien und Zimmer direkt zur Straße raus. Ein paar Kritikpunkte gibt es allerdings .. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer lässt sich nicht individuell regeln, dadurch war es uns teilweise viel zu warm. Den „Bergblick“ hätte man sich sparen können, das ist den Aufpreis nicht wert. Und gerade wenn man etwas mehr fürs Hotel zahlt, erwartet man sich schon ein paar Extras, wie zB kleine Duschgels in Reisegröße und sowas. Würde sich ja auch von Nivea anbieten. Das Alles ist aber meckern auf hohem niveau und wir hatten trotzdem einen super Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Hotel. P.S. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt für mich war der Föhn im Zimmer. Der hatte richtig Power und ist somit auch für lange und dicke Haare geeignet :P

Et rigtig fint hotel, som vi gerne kommer tilbage til. Sengene er rigtig gode og man sover godt. Morgenmadsbuffeten er stor og fremgår pæn og hygiejnisk. Parkeringen er let tilgængelig. Eneste minus er dog, at der ikke er et lille køleskab på værelset. Det kunne have været rart, når man bruger hotellet som udgangspunkt for vandreture.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay, especially the guided hikes provided through the hotel with Hermann. Hermann was a delightful and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed the many options available at breakfast each morning. Would highly recommend this property for its location to hiking trails, as well as local restaurants and shops.

Staff is friendly and can also speak english. Property and rooms are always very clean. Food options are ok but drink options are great. Shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walk. Always a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Leider etwas unpersönlich und überfüllt, hatte Geburtstag und mir wurde nicht einmal gratuliert. Schade kenne ich von anderen Hotels nicht so! Kostenlose Parkplätze 2 Minuten vom Hotel, das Hotel Parkhaus kostet 17€ pro Nacht was ich als Wucher empfinde.

We have stayed here five times recently, every stay was great, good breakfast, friendly staff, great pool and spa, not many Mountain View’s ( due to weather) usually fantastic views though. This hotel always has a lovely atmosphere. We had a problem with streaming service in our room, someone came to look at it, but it wasn’t repaired by time we left. We only had world news to watch in evening.

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel ok, aber für den Preis hätte ich mir mehr qualitativ besseres Essen und mehr Service am Gast gewünscht; Check In schon recht kompliziert und nervig , weil ich keinen Platz zum Essen für Abends hatte. Leider wird nur alle 2 Tage das Zimmer geputzt, wenn man mit 2 Nächte bleibt bleibt das Zimmer leider umgemacht. Eher ein Familienhotel, nichts für Singles oder Paare. Sehr laut im Essensraum an der Bar dann eher Spieleabende, als gemütliches Barflair. Wellnessbereich, keine großen Handtücher für die Gäste , keine Getränke und eher wie eine große Schwimmhalle. Da auch externen Betrieb ist, bekommt man als Hotelgast nicht unbedingt Vortritt. Sehr gut waren jedoch die Anwendungen! Aber dazu muss ich dann nicht extra über Nacht bleiben. Leider dröhnen die sehr lauten Luftgebläse in der TG durch das Hotel bis in den 3 Stock, dass ein erholsamer Schlaf schwierig ist.

This hotel has great amenities for family vacation, the restaurant and bar atmosphere are great, but the small rooms are the problem, nobody likes tinny rooms, no AC just heating, no safe, no place for the bags, no amenities kit for the bathroom. Another problem is the front desk team, many of them barely speak English and sometimes have to work as receptionist and sales person for the Nivea store adjacent, this is simply does not work and makes a mess during check in time. One last major problem, you can hear the water for other showers running through the pipes, room 355. It is sad to see so much money invested in the huge hotel and loose clients for lack of comfort on the rooms.

Location is great! 5mins walk to the Zugspitze Bahnhof and 7-8mins walk to the main City Center with a lot of shops. Lidl is located just across the street with openings Mon-Sat 8-20hr. With a 5-10mins walk you can reach a lot of good restaurants. Very convenient. Hotel buffet breakfast is very nice with a lot of choices. The mountain view suite is enough big for 2 people and the room design is modern and new. The hot water is not stable though and the parking is expensive - the only two things not good enough for a 4-5 star hotel. Could have charged less to encourage people to park in the hotel's garage.

Aja hotel was perfect, right next to train station,excellent facilities, lovely rooms. Will definitely go again, great breakfast and afternoon coffee and cake. Don’t forget to ask about guest pass, we found out about this from tourist information and lost out on two days free bus travel.

Was a perfect location in regards to bus and train station, many choices of restaurants and Zugspitze. Hotel was beautiful and offered a wonderful breakfast which was included. The pool area was exquisite and included saunas, spa services. We were there in late August and the hotel did not have AC so we were a liitle bit warm in our room, however they provided a fan that helped. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Aussergewöhnlich ist der Spa-Bereich, dieser bietet mehrere Schwimmbecken und mehrere Saunen. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr zentral gelegen. Etwas überteuert erscheint der Preis von 17 Euro für die Tiefgarage.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel, we love the breakfast and afternoon cake and coffee, the spa facilities are great and relaxing, rooms are modern and clean, my only fault is that if you’re there for 7 nights they should give you a room down the quiet end of the hotel,

Sauber, tolles Frühstücken, schöne Einrichtung, ein richtig toller Spa Bereich. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Einzig das sehr offene Badezimmer war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig als Freunde.

Just came down for one night but enjoyed the spa facilities. Buffet dinner was good for the money and hotel was very pleasant with modern decor styling. Bring your rubber pool slides as quite expensive to buy from hotel shop on a Sunday if you forget them !I would like to come back to stay on a ski holiday. Very friendly people in town and had a great time going up the Zugspitze .

In short: hotel was amazing, room was so-so. Pool area was better than expected and some good amenities for kids. Good breakfast and the coffee break is a nice perk. The room was about 30°C which made it very difficult to sleep. Was also small and no mini fridge makes traveling a little harder. Didn't want to spend much time in our room, so obviously we survived. But just being honest.
